Just got my controller back and it’s way better than the store bought stuff. Thanks for quick email response and quick turnaround . I definitely will hit you up in the future!!
I got mine from modcentralusa, and it was a nice project to take on. I went full custom with my build, replaced everything... dualsense case, all buttons, d-pad and touchpad. I only keep the joysticks and the triggers, because it was a black controller. And with the rapid fire pcb I added grip buttons. If you have the skills I highly recommed you take this diy project
NOt at the moment. I find that method messy and hard to get them accurate. On the XB1 controller it is pretty easy because the MOBO is flat and you can put a NICE good tact button (industrial) under the Trigger and wire it up for Instant Triggers. I've been doing that on XB1 since 2013. ALL XB1 controllers revisions 2013,2015,2017,2021 all have the same hall sensor and magnet on the trigger and the trigger mech is exactly the same. So the Buttons I used back in 2013 still work in 2021.. You need to slightly adjust them but still they are accurate and clean. The PS5 controller is another story. ALl the people doing mouse (instant) triggers are using these very small tact buttons and wiring them up to the trigger mech and they fail pretty quickly. They are also not accurate as those very small tacts are not made for gaming. They are made for button senors like on appliances and such. Something you press like a few times a day maybe. You do not want those small appliance tact buttons in triggers and bumpers that you are pressing over 400 times in a match and like 5-10K in a full gaming session. SO until I can get my industrial tact buttons in the trigger mechs I do not install them, I have a prototype done and it is SUPER SLICK.. it replaces the PCB flex board and pad that is in the trigger mechanism. You take the trigger apart. Take the FLEX out. Lay my flex on that will have 2 industrial tact buttons and plug it into the Trigger mech PCB that connects to the main MOBO> it also has resistors and circuitry built in so if you use it with my Programmable remap or my Rapid fire boards, there will be no need to solder the 4 wires from the trigger mech solder points to the PCB flex remap board. It will all go together nicely. The prototypes will be done soon. I expect to go full production by end of July. They will NOT BE CHEAP. I am expecting a pair of these to sell for around the same price point as my Programmable remap. SO your looking in the $25-35 range. But it will be a true flex solution with REAL industrial tact buttons that can take someone clicking them over and over minute after minute... I will have a WHOLE NEW VIDEO when that happens.
@@MODCENTRALUSA Thanks for detailed response. I have been using Battle Beavers for my last 3 DualShocks controllers and they just don’t hold up.
