Available in the Honda Accord EX-L and Touring as well as the Accord Hybrid EX-L and Touring. On the new 2022 Honda Civic it's available on the Touring Sedan, Sport Touring Hatchback, and Civic Si Sedan. Also available on the redesigned 2023 HR-V in the EX-L trim

Is wireless Apple play available on 2022 Honda Accord Sport Special Edition? Currently, Apple play only works with USB
I can use my cable to use CarPlay but when I connect via Bluetooth I never get the option to select CarPlay. I have deleted the phone from the car and car from the phone and reconnected. Nothing works. I have a 2023 accord EX.
Does the 2024 Honda CR-V LX have the wireless and wired car play?
People ya need to understand that honda put wireless carplay on the 2021 models and up anything 2020 and below does not have wireless carplay, but you can buy an adapter for it
You can now have a dealer installed option for Wireless Carplay on models before 2021. I just had it installed in my 2019 Accord EX-L

I have a 2022 Honda CR-V Touring that I just purchased yesterday. The dealer was trying to help me set up the wireless and we did a process similar to this but I don't have wireless access to the phone. Now I don't have the option to wirelessly connect my phone. He told me the car doesn't support wireless CarPlay but on the top of the line CR-V I find that hard to believe. Could you tell me how to set the radio back to where it will try to connect again?
Yes ma'am unfortunately wirless CarPlay hasn't made it to the CR-V. To connect to Bluetooth, touch the phone button on the home screen. If it's paired already it will show your phone. If not you will have to open up your phone and go to settings/bluetooth and pair it that way. If you want to use Apple CarPlay you'll have to use your usb cable and plug into the port with the phone icon on the center console. Hope this helps and thank you for watching!!
I just bought the same vehicle too and was trying to figure out wireless vs plug in. I also find it hard to believe top of the line does not support wireless. MY 2014 CRV was wireless but had to do everything through the phone. Does not make sense to me either.

@@tammyboutwell8770 CarLinKit 4.0. It's not 100%, perfect. The sound quality is good but occasionally, for a tiny fraction of a second the sound might drop. The screen is slightly delayed too but over all I'm satisfied with it. Hope that helps. :)

Hello this will work my Honda Accord special edition 2021 had a new car three month
unfortunately the Accord SE doesn't have the wireless option. It is a wired USB connection. There are some wireless adapters via Amazon that will work for you

How do I disconnect the wireless car play?
I have 2018 accord Ex… when connecting my phone it only has the first 2 options. It doesn’t show anything about car play. I can only use it connecting the wire

check your phone for the CarPlay in the settings menu. or plug it in via USB and try it that way

Great video. I do hace a question. If install the OEM Honda Wireless Charger on my Accord 18 EX. Will I be able to use the wireless Apple Car? Or not?
Unfortunately that will not work. That will just charge the phone. The wireless for the radio is on a different receiver.

Only the EX-L and Touring Trim have the option for the wireless CarPlay. If you have any other trim it's on your home screen as "Smartphone Connection" and you will have to use the USB plug to use that feature.

unfortunately no, but it is starting in 2023 on the CR-V on the EX-L and Sport Touring Hybrid

Not the wireless CarPlay. It is available when you plug in via the USB port.

At the moment it is only available on the new Accord EX-L and Touring and the new Civic Touring

Unfortunately, the wireless Apple CarPlay hasn't made it to the Pilot just yet. It's only available in a few models

It only works on the 2021 Accord Touring or newer. 2020 & older you need to use the usb cable for CarPlay.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are availabe on the '21 Accord or newer in all trim levels. Whereas previous it was available on '17 and newer trims from Sport and above. On the Civic it was available on select trims from '16 and newer
