Been trying to find some stuff with ending a combo with b11u3, but instead of ending with air harpoon, end with jetpack into MB Torpedos. Stuffs some wakeups like Superman's rising grab, sets up for back 3 afterward. Wondering what else I can do with jetpack there. Wondering if it's useful.

That doesn't even make sense - even with a meter burn you can't combo off of db3 and even if you meant df2 mb then how the hell are you pulling two j3s, and d3(hard knockdown btw) THEN hitting b11u3 after😂
Dink it seems Black Manta's scaling makes all the damage on of his advanced combos pretty bad. Do you think his damage is too low? It seems a little unfair that Supergirl, Black Adam, and more of the higher tier cast do way better damage with way less effort. Down 2 seems to stop a lot of his jet pack pressure too. What do you think?
Cass Cassillas that was my problem playing him. He seems to have pretty weak damage. For a combo that wasn't too crazy hard to input I was getting like 330 with 1 bar whereas when I play Robin I can reliably get 415 with one bar and it feels easier but maybe that's just down to more experience
imo it's better to slowly whittle the health bar down do quick bursts of 200 and work on set ups and neutral his base scaling isn't too bad. just need more effort, also he gets some good damage off of stage interactions
One thing that I've found that if your having trouble hitting the j3 in the corner then just go with a j2 b1, b11 it leads into basically the same damage maybe 41 damage instead of 43 but I found it easier this way
A Garrulous Nerd it's too unsafe and easily interrupted. He's a good guy for experienced players, but too complicated for newbs. I've learned his stuff and wrecked the few people who've picked Manta against me.

Think of him as the smoke of MKX. I mained Smoke and BM definitely gives me smoke vibes. He's most likely gonna be buffed once if that and left throughout the game and will go up the tier list by default just like Smoke did. He never got touched and he was top 5 towards the end of MKX

back y+y or triangle+triangle is a combo starter but slow it a mix up it hit low and overhead
I did a combo like the one at 2:23, but I replaced f3 and j3 with 2,1 db3, b3, j3, j3, d3 and then b11u3,db3-(can be meter burned) it does about 53%

Buffet Jackson the 1234 system just refers to the face buttons. So on Xbox that would be 1 = X, 2 = Y, 3 = A, and 4 = B

A smaller combo I've used but quite easy to pull off is F2-1, db2MB, B3, J3, 2-1, finishing with either BF1 or BF2. Hits for about 344
Is your button layout on your stick the same with Manta? With the only change being the Meter burn being switched to R1?
