I would only recommend selling some things. Looting is a one-time thing for each play-through. You can restart in hard mode and do it again, but that is the limit. The Ring of Perseverance increases your Dcp or Displine point gain by 50%. You can get another one on Hard Mode for a 100% gain in Dcp, and you can use the Rings immediately without penalty. You may change your vocation through the game, and some items you get you might want later on. The weapons have a level 46 requirement. You can still use them, but your Stamina will be drained quickly. I use the Dragon's Ire to take potshots at mobs. Hit a few times, back off, and come back a few times again.
How this works. When you set an object like a barrel against a wall it temporarily (3-4) seconds becomes ghost like then changes back to solid. The idea is to be in it while ghost like& jumping forward when it turns solid. It pushes you thru doors& gates. Carrying an object ensures you don’t jump too high up. Hope this helps any new players since nobody describes it but many do it.
@@AbeTweakin You can release pawns in the Rift, but your own pawn you have to toss if you want to solo. You can require previous pawns, also in the rift by scrolling down to pawns used. The most recent ones are last & at the bottom.
prolly an engine or logical bug. im assuming it has something to do with the colission shape/area of the wall being affected/altered, thus why the player can clip thru the wall. perhaps walls are designed to act like solid objects in the context of the player object & not the barrels. in any case, this games motivating me to consider game dev again.. nice, simple game
I don’t know if they altered it but if you switch to hard mode and get two rings of perseverance you get roughly a 100% increase to you discipline gain.

The ring of perseverance you can do this twice i saw in another video and equip one on your main pawn it helps you level faster very important and you can glitch the other doors as well.
@@mrfroszt7143 You start the game at Hard, you do the glitch then swap to normal. That restarts the game from begining, making all the loot respawn with all your items,lcvels etc. intact. Or when you go to NG+.
@@Ilikebeatzzz I know this comment is a few months old now, but you start the game at normal then swap to hard. Swapping hard to normal doesn't reset your story progress, but swapping normal to hard does. You can put the game back in normal afterwards if you want though.
Thanks for the guide, I have never played this game and have heard that the first few hours are boring because of the lack of cool abilities so this ring should help with that, well I'm assuming that's how it works lol

If you are struggling with the glitch i suggest lower your frames to 30 fps. Had trouble doing it on 60 but when i switched to 30 fps i did this in 3 tries

This worked for awhile, but now its not working, i place the barrels the same and dont do anything differently, does a characters height and weight change this?
One neat trick I learnt today while watching vids about the glitch again to refresh, since I was starting a new char. The door glitch can be performed in an easier manner First, unequip everything but a helmet slot, start doing the glitch as normal, and as you drop back down in one of the jumpd, pause menu, unequip the helmet, unpause and quickly jump at the door. You are still doing the glitch, but for me this has cut down on the tefiousness of it a lot since it pretty much works all the time. When it comes to this glitch, as I saw in the pins, you can indeed gltich through all doors, but some are nasty af because of a lack of objects to do the trick with, and its also pretty hard to get the stuff in there.
Worst I’ve ever seen in doing this glitch. Just pan the camera so it’s top down and you don’t “see” your character just the wall and barrel. Once you jump into the other barrel just keep jumping and you can clip through really easy.
So then you just run back to the starting spot and then you're good? And if I come back later in the game will all those cutscenes come back so I can actually play it?
You have to be a higher level to use the weapons. I dont know specifically what level but id assume around where you can kinda kill enemies in the isle

Or remove your armor during the glitch, and if that doesn't work, put it back on. I've also noticed that if you leave and come back several days later, it might be extremely easy. I was having issues and did this and then glitched every door fairly easy.
You are doing it wrong then. I had this issue at first. You have to make sure your camera is aligned correctly. Directly overhead. Then literally leap in place. If it resets just keeps doing it until it works because that's the correct way. Also you can use other items other than a barrel. You can put a barrel and pick up a pot to do the glitch. Still works. I'm sure any item does as long as the barrel is placed first.
And you can get the other doors as well. You don't need to be in a corner either just barrel in center stay center of barrel while jumping and after about 5 jumps you'll push through.
So, could you do this, sell the items, switch the game to hard mode to reset all progress while keeping items and inventory, then switch back to normal/easy, and go back to the chests again?
as of Apr 2 2024 it don't work no more unfortunately once you get in the dlc you can't use any ferrystone you need to go back to where you find Olra first which is a pain cuz there's doors that loop you back to the enemies. And also I tried to throw my pawns in the water but when I get to the blackwater isle they teleported too lol so ofc they kept breaking the barrels but even so the glitch don't work. Im only level 22 I just wanted to play the first DD while saving money to get a new better graphics card for the DD2 be careful for the early OP videos out there some work most don't.
Kill all your pawns by dismissing them at a Riftstone/throwing them off of a high area. Walk into the corner of the door while you're placing the barrel. When you've placed the barrel and you're jumping into the corner with another object in your hands, do a little bit of both walking forward and jumping at the same time, don't just spam jump and forward. Walk a little then jump, walk a little then jump, etc. It still works.
Actually you can use them at any level if you are the right vocation. If your level is too low it cuts your endurance down drastically. For instance, if you are Strrider, you can use the Fire Bow at any level that you can access/glitch the door. (I did it a level 2) and even used it at that level, but it drains your stamina pretty fast. Even running with it equipped drains it. You can compensate this with chaufing Liquid Vims. It's a devastating bow at any level.
You can return on hard mode, or start with New Geme+. In NG+ you can access these doors with each new game and twice each time if you jump from normal to hard.

Just keep playing and killing until you get one. If you need more than one, take it to the Blackcat. They are fairly easy to kill using the dynamite, throwblasts or the Fire Bow, even at a low level. I've done it at 4 or 5 lv.
You can use the barrels that are in the rooms to glitch out the same way you entered. Make sure that you always place the barrel on the right. Doing this will ensure that you aren't glitching against a barrel. Also if you run out of barrels you can grab the barrel on the other side, from inside.

Well..., Actually size does seem to matter, but it just takes different methods than jumping. for instance a female or smaller size character, glitching seems to work better with rolling. This is especially prevalent glitching the doors next to Daimons Chamber after you kill his first form.
@@Omp4l I just tried it with a child character at level 4 and it works flawlessly, so size doesn't matter. I couldn't do a roll, I didn't have that skill yet, but I usually play with a single piece of armor. Equiping it or unequiping it works.
As has been said in this comment section elsewhere, you can't open those specific chests again, but you can either start hard mode or new game+ and repeat the process from scratch to gain the items again.

Certain characters that aren't overly large, can often do a roll and glitch in.

Once you glitch to the other side you can also get the barrel in where you originally left them even if they are on the other side of the door haha.

Got all the bottom doors, the ones at the top dont have barrels and you need to jump to reach the ledge
I also did BUT my main pawn is a Strider so I gave all thr strider items to her.
If you are on PC, try turning your frame rate down. No luck at 144 fps, first try at 24.
Luckily I played on ps3. Always had that 30 fps on 💪💀

Yeah, it has a lot to do with your angle of entry. Aim for the corner but not too far past. Do a few hundred times and you will catch on. ; ~ )

Try removing or equiping your armor when locked against the corner and make sure that you take a BBI lift Stone just in case you can't get out.

You just farm everything You want in hardmode, Then reset it in normal, and You Will have Great equipment really early on
