      How did it do?

@@houseatreides6683 it does great, as long as the tree doesn’t have a fork or a lot of limbs it’s amazing! It’s good for me if I’m going into a spot for the first time and don’t really know the layout yet!

@@Tree_top_Hunters did it take a lot of practice with it to really get it down pat or was it pretty easy right away?
Also, do your feet ever kick out to the sides of the tree when using it? Similar to how feet can kick out when using an aider. I really don’t wanna deal with that 20 feet up a tree

@ it was pretty straightforward from the start but definitely practice before jumping in, My feet only kicked out one time the entire time Iv used it and it was my fault!

Only one video? What about once up a tree how are you setting on off a platform?

Good question. I’d like to see that too. Look around on TH-cam for 2 tether climbing videos. I’m sure there’s some where they demonstrate how to set up a platform and the only difference between the bandit and 2 tether climbing is that you put both feet in the bandit and only one foot for 2 tether climbing (2TC)
They’re very similar methods. The bandit basically is 2TC

Just looks like you make very little progress. Each movement got you like 1.5ft higher

Not quite, you get around 3 to 4 feet per full rep. Check out our speed video: instagram.com/p/C89-lk-Omlr/
      23 feet in about 2:30

Can you use this without a saddle system? I’m a new hunter and have three sticks and regular full harness.

@@houseatreides6683 no joke, but have a backup system.

@@raccoonrigs You are NOT moving 3 to 4 feet per full rep unless you are counting a full rep as 2 or 3 moves LOL. Seriously dude....we all just watched you moving up the tree.

Cool idea looks like something you can make with some spare rope and some sort of bar 🤷🏻‍♂️
