    I bought this keyboard after watching your video, and I am very happy with it! The build quality itself made it worth it, but then I started typing, and it made me fall in love again!! I am by no means the most accurate or fastest typer, but this keyboard just makes me want to type stuff just so that I can use it and listen to it.... I went with gateron blues on mine because I love clicky switches, but it looks exactly like the one you reviewed!! Keep up the great work!!

    The disconnection issues have apparently been eliminated. 10months ago when they first came out they had the awful issue with rapid disconnects. But this is their 2nd line of development where they have voided the problem. I’ve had mine now for 2 weeks and have not ran into a disconnect yet.

      Just for the record, I have purchased the keyboard from Amazon around a month ago. I have used various aftermarket USB cables and the board randomly dies and the USB cable has to replugged in to fix the issue. It happens rarely but it STILL happens. I paid around 150 euros for the version with the kailh jade switches. The construction is great and typing on this thing is flawless. However, sadly this does not matter when such an issue exists.

    Nice review Betty. I had an earlier version of this keyboard that had a bad disconnect issue that I ended up having to return. I heard that they had fixed the issue with newer models, but I have already purchased a GK64X with hot swap and it is my favorite 60% board now. I did get a newer Durgod Haydes and that is very nice, except for not being hot swap. I have come to the conclusion that I will only purchase hot swap boards from now on as I am hooked on lubbed switches and clipped and lubed stabs, plus being able to easily try out new switches without the whole solder, desolder thing.

    Awesome review! I wonder if it uses the same pcb as the AP2 given the similarities. As to the tap arrow keys, I had the same problem with shift registering as an arrow on my AP2 so I started using TouchCursor free software that turns the spacebar into a function key and allows you to remap any arrow, navigation or special keys to wherever you want. I set up a 2 nav clusters ( one for each hand) on the home row and it is absolutely awesome.

      You can change the delay for the tap layer on the AP2 in ObinsKit software. The default is 250ms, I believe.

    I have 2 of these, a hades 68 and 2 Taurus boards. The stabilisers are good to begin with, but all of them develop a very annoying 'ticking sound'. It's not stab rattle, lube does not fix it and its led me to not use any of them anymore, sadly
    That said, the white version of the venus feels very nice abd better than the black version (the white has a smoother finish and smoother keycaps).
    The extra cables and keycap puller are nice to have and useful with other boards too.
    I have noticed the arrow tap function still has a delay, the anne pro 2 has an unnoticeable delay, especially using shift / to get ?
    Another thing to note is the USB c port on the venus and hades are in non-standard positions so using the pcb with another case, or using a different pcb with these cases wont work

    Logitech G413 backlit or Redragon K552 Kumara. I know the comparison is a bit odd but which one is a better keyboard. I've never bought a mechanical key board and my knowledge is pretty bad about them.If someone has a better option in the same price point please do tell. My only demands are price to be somewhere around 60-80/90 dollars( I'll push for the last few,difficult since I live in a developing country) and RGB lights. • @viniciusrodrigues9592
      @viniciusrodrigues9592 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, my friend, given these two options, I'd go for the G413, since it has a way better build quality compared to the Kumara. Also, Logitech is known to provide a good customer service, while I don't know about Redragon. I believe the Kumara uses Outemu switches, which have had a lot of complaints in recent years, while Logitech uses proprietary Romer-G switches, which are ok. But If I were to ditch these two, I'd go for the HyperX Alloy Origins Core. I believe it's around the same price range and is a fairly decent board. There's a review on it in this channel.
