Had a lot of fun exploring some of these methods and they are now defo in my weekly routine in some capacity! Shout if there are any more that i've missed between the two video's!
If you don't want to exchange items or look up prices for multiple things, there's one thing I do from time to time: farming Acidic Secretions. These are used for the 20-40 Ishgardian Restoration Alchemy recipes, and tend to sell extremely quickly, usually at around 1.5k per secretion. The place to farm them is in North Shroud, right on the border with Central. The Shroud Hares there have a low-average chance, I'd guess like 20-25% to drop one, and are incredibly easy to kill. There's obviously always a catch, and it's that there's only 12 of them there, but it takes less than a minute to kill them and get them to respawn. Luck will be a big factor for these, as I've had times of getting no secretions over multiple laps, and times I've had 8-10 in a single lap. It's not really the best or most consistent way to farm gil, but it's incredibly easy and takes no research whatsoever, so thought I'd share it here.
Nice tip! I just had a quick look and you can also send Battle class retainers out for these. Level 21 - 25 hunting ventures. So 30 per hour with 2 battle class retainers!
Just as an update to the bozja information from someone who's been active in the bozja markets/cluster farming optimization since launch, while you got 450 clusters in 4.5 hours, you can actually reach from what I heard up to 600 clusters in 3 hours. I personally get 400-450 clusters in 3 hours using 2 areas in zone 1 since zone 2 and zone 3 have diminishing returns due to the number of adds and ranks. Those income levels however are when you have optimized dps and speed tank pull setups with damage honors (whm + profane essence + lost seraph strike/lost burst && tank + bloodsucker/breathtaker + lost swift/lost impotus). Fully optimized, bozja nets into the 1-2mil/hr range in 3 hours of farming since it's roughly ~50% increase to the results that you attained.
The limit of fully optimized farming could reach up to 450-500 clusters plus over 1k forgotten fragments per hour. It is achieved by a co-operative farming strategy where 3 full sized team collaborate together, pulling all the mobs from the whole map. Problem is, under such optimization, the supply would very quickly exceed the demand and lead to significant price drop
@@cxl7809 The real problem is that that strategy isn't realistic as the time coordination for that many people rarely lines up. You also end up with a bunch of useless people who do trash dps mooching loot. If we're talking any composition at all, the theoretical limit is prob at 700-800 clusters per hour in zadnor as JP uploaded hitting mid 500's with only 8 people and they weren't optimized in pull speed. Half thr pull time and double the burn should easily turn 550 into 700+.
Eureka is a good money maker 1. Both worth 400-1.5m In Pyros- The Tissue, claw and dice required to upgrade the magia board worth a lot too 4. The crystals that drop from eureka as a whole like Bozja 5. The boxes from each area. What do you do with the gil? I have 107 million but I craft and gather my own stuff. I’m willing to upgrade to a mansion put gotta hit the lotto first.
I dungeon farm Saint Mocianne’s Arboretum Hard solo as a level 90 in about 12-13 mins. The final boss occasionaly drops (about 25%) Verdant Partition, a non craftable housing item that sells for about 500-700k. I’m not a good player at all so I’m pretty sure it can be done much faster. The gear drops from bosses and treasure chests also give you about 15k GC seals which you can transfer in crafting materials. Just gotta keep fingers crossed at final boss chest
@@SamsonGrey26 it almost seems they adjusted the drop rate in 6.3 because I’m not as lucky anymore also since the patch. Today another 7 runs without hitting the big reward. Before the patch I scored at least 1 out of 3, even had 3 in a row once. I keep trying 😅
Those vouchers are NOT the best gil you can make with your gemstones at all. A lot of the crafting items and some of the housing items sell for quite a lot more. On my server those vouchers are 100 gems and sell for 56k .. I instead spend 50 gems for a certain furnishing item and they sell quite regulary for 100k each. Another example is crafting items ... lets take Lorikeet down .. on my server they sell for 2k each and cost 2 gems. So if you spend 100 gems you make 100k as well.
Will certainly have a look at the housing items, dabbled in the past but taken an age to shift them (tho maybe grabbed the wrong ones!). Re the crafting items on my server and from an average price across all EU servers perspective, they're looking more like 1k and under but from an individual server perspective 2k a piece is awesome, would love to get in on that action!
@@SamsonGrey26 I tend to buy the rope bastion and the stacked logs (Forgot name) from the eulmore gem vendor. They are 25 gems each and ussualy get me from 60-120k each and they sell decently well. I just been selling them and keeping and buying a voucher with part of the sale and keep the rest.
Materia transmuting can def net you gil, but its the most repetitive and boring method ive ever tried to make gil. Five or ten minutes in I still have so many to go and just quit lol. Props to the people who can sit there for an hour just rapid clicking their 1000s stacks of materias.
Yep, sorry to any transmutation lovers but 100% agree. I like to enjoy playing the game while making gil as a by-product and transmutation barely makes me feel like I'm playing the game, never mind having fun!
@@SamsonGrey26 worst part is u have to focus on it, u can't just passively do it. If you misclick u mess it up, and you wanna click as fast as you can to be efficient.

Wow, this seems much easier than selling my body in limsa
Not true
But is it as funny?^^
Damn. The worst place to sell yourself. You must have seen some shit.
😂😂
must be doing it wrong. some erp players make up to 20+ a night 😅

Just had an FC-mate link me this video. Thanks for the shout out! I'm glad you liked my guide :)
Was more than happy too, great vid! :)
Thx mate I finally have 100 K after using materia method....before this i had 1 mil

Good job!!
I love that you gave an update version of this, so many videos are older and this stuff can change with the updates etc thank you again
Glad you enjoyed, will hopefully continue it with future vids after exploring other methods!

What is Bozna?
It's a level 80 instanced area from shadowbringers which was tied to the relic weapon quest chain. :)
It's Bozja but the pronounciation he went for was like he was saying Bosnia how the natives there do 😂
Bosna stronk

You don't Need a healer. Tanks can keep themselves alive 100% with bloodsucker.

Just went into the Vault. No gil dropped from trash mobs... Ran it solo unsynced. 🤷
Sorry you may have missheard my solo 'and' synced for solo unsynced!, unsynced doesn't work im afraid, it has to be synced to drop gil.
Mage is pronounced "may-j" as opposed to "majj". Bozjan is "bozz - jan" not "bos - ner"
There’s no way this matters as much as you think it does.
Bozja is actually pronounced "bozz-ya" it's said in a voiced cutscene in Endwalker. It's a germanic sounding J sound (aka actually a Y sound)
Hm!
bozna
