Junus please No share holders. No car on two wheels. Just keep putting your love in these work of ART. I CANNOT STOP LOOKING AT IT! Besides on the west coast have people taking pictures shouldn't worry about advertising.😊JM146.
I'm 66 years old, riding bikes since I was 15. You brought back some old memories for me when you talked about the temp drop in spots on backroads. One smell that I still enjoy is a freshly cut hayfield. Really enjoyed watching your video. Sooner or later you will probably decide to up grade to a larger bike, everybody does. I would still hang on the Janus bikes though, they look like a fun bike to ride. I ride a Kawasaki Z650 myself.
Congratulations on getting out and enjoying life on two wheels. Motorcycle safety course was the best move y’all could have made starting this new chapter of your life!!!!
The Janus is certainly a nice choice. The leading link is lovely because of the inherent anti-dive properties and mechanical toughness. The Honda-design CG counterbalanced pushrod 235cc engine makes about the right amount of power to unobtrusively move you along the backroads, the most interesting riding there is. The CG also has low maintenance requirements and high durability under adverse conditions, also a very good thing. In my experience, 20 HP machines are a really nice balance of adequate power, low mass and good handling. Plus, they don't mechanically digest themselves and burn thru tires. They provide daily driver backroad fun whilst being able to serve as a micro-tourer if desired. They're comfortable, durable and fully capable of multi-week doddles as they just transport you about without needing much more that a daily spritz of chain lube. Well done Terry & Mark - now get some soft luggage, pack a rain suit, underwear, socks & a credit card & go walkabout!
Great testimonial! I liked them and am surprised at how cool the Janus are. It's always good to see someone new discover two wheels and all that can mean.
I love that a regular couple each got one...love the dogs, books, acknowledgement that they are sort of eccentric in their tastes. They seem to "get it" and understand the axiom of the journey being more significant than the destination.
Glad you are enjoying your bikes, I have had many motorcycles. But the idea of a lightweight bike Where you can safely move about without going to the gym , But the main thing is riding round at a lower speed you have time see things around and really enjoy the ride I am in UK But hoping I will be able to buy one someday Keep safe
Fantastic. Not unlike my motorcycle odyssey after my stroke last year at 60. It really gets your endorphins going doesn't it?! And I've got a nice little CB500X which is more than plenty for me. Constantly worrying about dropping a huge Africa Twin or GS isn't my idea of fun. I'd love something like a Halcyon if I can get it past the Financial secretary at home! Greetings from Wales!
Hiya from North Carolina. My girlfriend is from Cardiff and we're looking into the Halcyon as well. Neither of us have any motorcycle experience but we're looking forward to learning with these. :)
@Daniel Mejorado Hi Daniel. Well my sister lives in Greenville South Carolina! The weather's much more amenable for motorcycling than it is in Wales! Good luck 👍
I'd love to test ride one at some point. I'm in a life-long relationship with my H-D FXDL but these small cc offerings from Janus look like a blast. If I had the flow I already know the color scheme and accoutrements I'd choose. It would look great next to my Bug Smasher!
I love the bikes, great couple, and the dogs are awesome! My wife and I are very involved in Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier rescue, the breed that that this couple owns. Very cool.
My first time riding a motorbike I was 14 years old back in the 70s! I am now retired from bad injury I started riding again but I can not get on motorcycle because of my right & left legs! I got myself Itaty three wheel motorscooter I be taking can-am bpr school!
This is a testimonial, not a review. I love the look of Janus motorcycles and plan on buying a Halcyon 450 in the spring. But this is just two people talking about themselves. It’s not a review.
I enjoyed your testimonial! It's truly a fun motorcycle. As a satisfied owner i also recommend checking out the Janus Motorcycle Company and it's lineup of great products.
The industry needed this because many of the younger generations don't have the interest in bikes like the Boomer's do. There have been quite a few articles written how production for the main stream bikes has dropped off. These are less intimidating for the new riders yet have the distinction of the past.
4:46... did she use the word “oppressive” to describe a “larger bike?” SMFH... how would she know, this is her first, and only bike experience? These look hella cool, kudos to ANY bike builder, but man are these urban yuppies annoying. I can’t wait until their “Sturgis” vlog comes out.😬
Ride staggered not side by side, oncoming stupidity if your riding side be side gives you no area to correct for others mistakes.you need to have escape room

I AGREE ALWAYS GET TRAINING FIRST!!!
I currently have a BMW. On the highway it's great. In a parking lot it's like and elephant seal. As soon as I get it paid off Janus here I come.

Charming folk, beautiful bikes. @7:54 Looks like a picture right out of the history books.
Love you guys JM146❤
The first realtors I've ever found interesting! lol. The Janus are art deco cool. I love lots of MCs but these have to be the most unique.

These bikes are here just at the right time. There really are not many beginner bikes out there that have this kind of vibe.

Thanks for the video! Janus
2:15... Did they do the Discovery visit without a MC license?
So true, all work no play
Been riding since 70s. Ride to Live, Live to ride. They probably understand that now

Right on!
The new military green is the choice that personally looks too cool.
Great experiences.
I LIKE FIREMAN RED COLOR Richard

Are headsplitter numberplates still allowed in your part of the world then?
I heard the Janus motorcycles don't have a gas gauge. Do you guys go by the milage?
I like the bubble sheilds and wonder how they stack up, maybe they are the riders' first helmets, but still curious.
Where do I have it serviced
Where did you get your picknick basket?
Janus - another of the stuff that dreams are made of....
I want those motorbikes in europe too!
I love this motorciclea
“We need more curves.!”
Don't you think Terry's curvy enough?

Tyler Childers owns one, nuff said.
Would love to buy a Janus, but I simply can’t spend that much on a bike with a Chinese engine.
👏👏👏😎👍
"Ride for the ride"
Janus motorcycles!
Is that already a common phrase?
Tshirt material ?🤔
I'm restoring a cb200t but i gravitate towards this kinda thing. Figure i'll cut my teeth on that then move to something like this
I just wish they made a 400cc or better yet 500cc bike.
Maybe a 300cc, 18-20hp would be adequate with this light weight bike and add 10 mph.
They heard you!
@@c150gpilot and I'm paying attention. 👍👍👍
They are currently in development of a 450. Info is on their channel, as well as their website.
Aww now I want a Janus :( I'm sorry wallet!
