The double bridge command you applied between the shank and the fleur-de-lys was brilliant. So inspiring. SubD is a real step forward for jewelers as it lets the designer the funny artistic part of the work while the software is busy with the teadious calculation. Thanks for enlighting us.
Thank you so much. Undoubtedly the most enlightening and objective class on the subject. Keep doing this wonderful work for the enjoyment of your readers. May God repay you enormously and give you health to continue being one of the best references in Rhino.
Thank you so much, you've been of great help! You're very good at explaining and you make it particularly pleasurable for who listens. Keep up the good work!
SubD objects don't have UV directions like a NURBS surface but you can use the Slide command to move an edge/edge loop or vertice in either direction. You can also use the Align to Object mode for the Gumball. Post to the user forum with a file if you have more questions discourse.mcneel.com/
Can anybody help trying to get in the jewelry business just bought a 3d printer , and purchased Rhino 7 , no prior graphic design skills ???Help please

I still giggle a little every time I run the bridge command.

What is the red thing, how do I get it?
Hello, thanks so much for tutorial🙏.
I have question. I have Rhino5. How can I make this model in rhino5?
You cannot. Rhino 5 doesn't have SubD. You must divide the the picture in several sections and use sweep 2 rail.
How do I make a circle 15mm diameter.. im interested in making things numerically exact
Very easy: go to front view, click the option (circle) click ) 0 enter ands the measure making sure that you have changed diameter into radius
Amazing Video.

You can use ExtrudeSubD with command options Basis=UVN Direction=N to extrude UVN like you would with the T-Splines gumball.
I learned lots of things from you, thank you so much 😊
Perfect tutorial!!!
haven't watched the video but quick question, does the crease feature in subd have strength/degree adjustability? Or is it mainly turn it on or off?
Hi Allen, currently they are not weighted creases but I'm also hoping we'll see them in the future.
