    Trav, I learn so much watching your vids! Not only do you know Rhino inside and out but you have a great knack for instruction. The learning will pass along as I incorporate your techniques into my own instruction. Thanks for posting these!!

    Great videos. I'm a diamond mounter with nearly 40 years of experience! And am self taught and in rhino over the last 2 years. I have built a number of models and had them printed now but this has really helped me speed up my workflow. A great balance for a TH-cam video. Clear and concise with lots of useful techniques, without getting lost in the theory of topology !

    I'm still amazed how it's possible to make complex operations with new intuitive tools while keeping a well organised meshing. So Zbrush friendly. R7 allows designers to focus on creativity. Great tut, thx for enlightening us with your pertinent comments on work flow and useful tips.

    At 3:26 how are you selecting all of the faces on the particular faces of the torus without having to either click all of them or use the click and drag method?

    • @RhinoGuide
      @RhinoGuide  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's sub-object selection of a face loop using Ctrl/Cmd + Shift to select a face and then Ctrl/Cmd + Shift double click on an adjacent face to get the loop.

      @@orafopinofalco1561 if you're using the gems that are mentioned in the video they have the curves built into them. You can download them from the descirption or from tips.rhino3d.com

    Hello.. I haven't had time to listen to the whole video, but do I need expensive plug ins to be able to use the gems tool bar? I have Rhino 7 (new student here).

      You can grab the tools needed in the link in the description for the video. There is also this one th-cam.com/video/WpCKG6Um2jA/w-d-xo.html which has info on using the gem blocks.

    Thank you so much! I am having difficulty with the gem tool bar though - I imported the downloaded files and when I load the block manager, it works and I can use the stones, but I am unable to create a toolbar with them so I have to upload them each time I open a document and scale it manually - any help to get the toolbar functioning would be appreciated! I have tried the toolbar command and the options command, both of which are 'unknown' commands according to rhino (I am using rhino 7). Thank you!
