i have to admit im not taking as much time for these casts as I should recently, but I'm super bummed to see that the algorithm pick-up that you got a few months ago didn't stay. you make such great content.
YT wants videos every day. If you take even 3-5 days between vids it doesnt value you as much

I really want to see this map with some Seton's players going into the experimental stage. It would be real funny to have a spider take a long stroll through the ocean and suddenly pop up next to the enemy teams bases.

Alright Gyle, you’ve persuaded me to start playing FAF and try to get my friends interested. I’m just waiting on some pc parts since my NVIDIA doesn’t work with FAF for some reason
Nvidia drivers are fucked for FA, but there's a mod called Nvidia Fix that makes it playable
Yeah i had to install the fix mod today to sort out the stutter lag issues. Is that the issue with yours? If so its and easy fix.
I’ve tried the fix mod and it still didn’t work so I just made sure I got the right stuff for my new pc so I can play games that aren’t as old as Pac-Man
I had the issue but I was able to revert to the previous nvidia driver. Solved my problem. As far as joining I wish you the best. Most I've seen online recently is about 2.3k so that's pretty sweet. Most were in active games. Good luck and happy hunting
to fix the stuttering go into task manager>services>NVDisplay.containerLocalSystem.
Stop that task and you'll solve the FAF stuttering, IDK what that even does I don't notice a difference but if you do just re-enable after you're done fafing.
Can also make a batch file that does it for you
powershell Set-Service -Name NVDisplay.ContainerLocalSystem -Status Stopped

Went from a lowly newb that new the bare bones of the game and getting curbed stomped by Sorian AIs easily to someone who can curb stomp a Sorian in return now lol

Well, that powerstall had little effect after all. Tex had 5 Bulwarks, amounting to 40000 points of shield health (minus overspill). Meanwhile Penguin must have had about 40 Cormorants, resulting in 30000 damage per pass. Thus even with shields on two passes would have been enough. And as Tex did not have any AA in that general location Penguin could have gotten a rather large amount of passes.

Little off topic, but every time I see a phantom game it almost always is on a water map which always devolves into a naval slugging match with some air and artillery & nukes sprinkled in.
Here's a challenge.. phantoms and paladins only using air & or land (amphibious allowed but only if they are primarily land based, eg. no cybran destroyers) assets, no navy.
I'm always surprised people don't capture the anti air in these bases more often. I guess the mass is more useful.
The map gen really did something there. Very pretty map.

recently started playing faf again but I have some serious stuttering issues after maybe 5 minutes into the game which only get worse. The Mouse cursor blinks as well. Google told me it was an nvidia driver issue and I switched to one where apparently the issue doesnt exist but it didnt work. Dont really know what to do now.
try getting the nvidia fix mod on the faf client. I had the same problem until i added that mod.

Would he have had to cancel the upgrade? Does FAF remove upgrade pausing?
Upgrade pausing is still there, but even if the upgrade is paused you still can't move. You have to cancel it or complete it if you want to be able to do anything else.
