  • Here's a throwback video we made for a client back home in Upstate New York!
Tim Bliss has ridden a motorcycle through the lower 48 states every year since 2011! Through one of our client relationships, we were fortunate enough to have gotten the chance to meet and talk with Tim. He is an incredibly kind individual with some even more incredible stories. With almost 1 MILLION miles in the saddle of a motorcycle, Tim has no shortage of amazing experiences to share.

Man I never get tired of hearing this man’s story. Get off the couch and go ride, just like he said. It WILL change your life. And he’s so right about everything he shared. The people you meet, the conversations you enjoy are epic, authentic. People are curious about your adventure, living vicariously thru your stories, your path, wishing they could do the same thing, having yet not taken that leap of faith to go ride. Our Country has so much to see, to enjoy, to smell, to fully experience. Get away from Corporate America, the internet, television, the news, the drama, the Noise as Kenny Chesney wrote a song about. Don’t let anyone tell you no. Take a stand for you, and go do something for You. Ride this country coast to coast, border to border, everything in between, enjoy the greatest National Parks in the World right here in the USA.

My wife and I have traveled by motorcycle in only eight states, but now a days we stay within three states. But we still travel 15,000 miles a year. My wife described motorcycle trips the best I've ever heard. She said, "when you travel by car your vacation doesn't begin until you get where you are going. But when you travel by motorcycle your adventure begins as soon as you leave your driveway." Ride safe and enjoy the journey.

In 2003 I did all 50 state capital buildings. I called it a patrioticgrum mean the buddy mine went to all of them. Put on something like 24000 miles in Alaska. I want to go to the capital and Juno. Is landlocked so we took a ferry with our bikes and drive around you know. Juno and then flew to Hawaii and rented bikes over there to take a picture and find as a capital building. It was a great ride, the best time of my life. And since then I've done 3 times I've done to 48 lowers with friends of mine like you said, time is short and every year. I try to go to Florida and from Florida. I go up to New York to visit relatives and just Chicago on the way back. And then back to california

Loved every frame of this video! Just Beautiful! This Tim Bliss guy is one cool cat and his enthusiasm about his passion just radiates! Aside from all of the gorgeous landscapes and nature shots, my absolute favorite part is from around 3:38 to 3:44. Yep! I watched that about 4 times..Lol! The sparkle and excitement captured in Mr. Bliss' eyes when he was sharing the wonderment of a honeysuckle flower! Oh !- That just touched my heart! He's as excited as a little kid sharing something for "Show and tell" for the very first time! Go watch it again and you'll see! Pure Joy! What a great video with a great message! I certainly hope that Mr. Bliss gets on that cover!!!! I'll share away to the best of my abilities and ask around if anyone has connections with the Harley D. peeps! Thanks for posting!

Danny and I took our bikes around the U.S. in the spring of 1977. We camped out every night under the stars for 3 months. Ate pancakes most mornings and treated ourselves once in awhile at a local diner for breakfast or dinner. Danny said to me, "if you don't do it now, you won't have the time to do it later." Danny has passed on but I thank him for letting me have the greatest experience in my life. Ride to Live.

I just did a cross country trip from Connecticut to Washington then back. I totaled 7386 miles. America is unreal and so beautiful. Everyday I was in a completely different landscape. Everything he says is so true. Especially about all the different smells, and all the people who come up and talk to you. I even made a good friend at a stop light who was also riding across the country from New Jersey. We rode for 4-5 days together. The trip was life changing. I’ll be honest it was tough at times too. Sometime it took some mental fortitude to keep going. But it was so worth it.

Awesome video. My man, I wish I had taken a video too. In 2003 I turned 50 and mean a very dear friend of mine wen. The proximately 25000 miles and went to all 50 state capital buildings on our 2003. Ultra classics and we also went to the hundreds University of Harley, Bixby plus a lot of state parks. It was a trip of a lifetime. I have to say in Hawaii. We flew there and rented a bike there to take a picture in front of the capital. As far as Alaska goes, we took a put the bikes on the ferry and went to Juno to the capital building. But it was one hell of a trip and all backroads a trip of a lifetime. A great adventure. Something I'll never forget approximately 80 days. Cause we visited a lot of people and lot of relatives both on the East Coast and in Hawaii, it was a trip of a lifetime and it was planned for 6 years.
Six years Hope you're still riding My man again read video great story

This is my bucket list dream item. traveling all 50 states on a bike and Canada. I want to visit all the state capitals and all of the main natural sights and all Harley shops in the USA and Canada. My idea is to document the trip and share on TH-cam, but when I monetize it I want to give 100% to charity. Does this sound like something anyone would want to follow? Unfortuentely, "Someday" is also another way to say I have current responsibilites that keep me from my dream. In my case is being my wife of 41 years caregiver...

Bikers have that nagging urge, Where you just cant stay in the house too long, The bike calls out to you and you cant wait to respond. We are like gypsies and travellers. But with a Bike and a tent. We get that same sense of freedom and adventure. I'm British but my dream would be to move to America and travel America. The UK is just too small. And you just cant beat the biker life style in America. Id love to visit Wyoming and Montana and so many places of beauty.

I got to know Tim a bit at the Cameron trading post on the Navajo reservation when traveling on my Road King. I have a pic of the two of us but can’t attach it here.

Truly an inspiration!!!! I gotta ask, with 150k on the ultra... what kind of maintenance have you had to do?

Outside of the usual (batteries, tires, oil)

If he kept it stock, probably not much more than that with the exception of throttle and brake cable adjustments, primary chain adjustments. Again normal maintenance items.
