- I ride a 2020 Harley Davidson Sportster 48. This was an older video that I never posted and the Harley had the Khrome Werks slip ons at this time.
This is a POV motorcycle ride, nothing more, nothing less.
On this drive I start at the west end of Gates Pass and make my way to a little Mercado.

It's even great for riders with a bike! I watch his videos from time to time, when it's raining, or I don't have time or otherwise not a good time to go for a ride.

The pure experience of life on the open road. Great stuff. I ride an adventure bike but I'd be hollering with joy if I came across roads like yours.

Yeah there's nothing like it and we do have a lot of open roads around here with not too much traffic so that is nice. Wish I had more mountains to ride up though.

Thanks man, what color you got? I don't feel like I have more scenic riding, but I live here so I think that's how it usually works.😄 Where you located? Yeah surprisingly I don't mind the way the engine guards look at all and they somewhat add to the look of the bike.
@@WatermelonMotoHead - I got black on black. Yours looks like a 2020, like mine per the tank logo. I got V&H Short Shots with baffles to quiet it down, Lindy engine guards. I am north of Dallas. No cactus but it feels like the desert here....

Question, how do you record your sound? Im using a mic on the back of my shirt but doesnt sounds smooth like this
Thanks my man , yeah we have a lot of open roads here where I am. Traffic isn't too bad here. I'm glad you are enjoying the rides.
I just use the onboard GoPro mic with a foam cover over it actually.
Boy' that 2 into 1 exhaust sounds so incredible, after hearing these slip-on mufflers... I'm gonna go back and play the previous video just to here the difference. 🤓
I agree man, I really dig the grunt that comes from the 2 into 1, especially on the decal. It never gets old and still puts a smile on my face. 🙂🙃

Finally decided and bought a GoPro 9 after seeing your last video, the night ride one. I liked how it can perform so better and it's all due to your videos. I own a 100cc bike and it's enough for me considering my needs and would like to test the heck out of it lol. I rode on two small moutains till now and did not have a camera to show it how it felt but now I have it! Will record everything just to watch them later !
Been exploring the modes and all as of now. Could you share the settings you use in the videos ( for day time). I'll also start learning Premiere pro.

Just got my first bike, a 17' Harley Forty-Eight. I'm looking for those peg-like bars on the back of your bike. I think they're called Swing Arm Guard Kits but I can't seem to find anything that fits my bike. Did have to do any special modifications to get them to fit?
No mods needed on this bike, just unscrew and bolt back down.

Better looks. Better sound than the new Sportster S. The new model doesn't even resemble a Harley. They probably perform well, as long as you don't have to look at it. I have a soft spot for real Sportsters, since I had a '72 XLCH 1000. Take good care of it. They'll be missed.
Wow a '72! That's pretty awesome man. Yeah I know what you mean about the new models. It'll never be the same. You right about the performance, but it doesn't have the charm like these. I reckon I should hold on to this one.

How do you get such a clean engine/exhaust sound, with almost no wind noise, while riding? Do you use external audio recorder?
I've tried that with different settings, but I haven't found it to pick up the sound better than my GP with a foam cover.
