The dude did the right thing at 00:45. Crank it up!
By the way, you asked "who is that guitar player?!?". That solo was played by Brian Greenway. Killer guitarist! The other two guitarists are Myles Goodwyn (who is also the lead vocalist) and Gary Moffet. All three are fantastic.

April Wine, 1969-present. In their hay day, 3 guitars, bass, drums with occasional piano. They have platinum n gold albums. A multitude of hard n soft rock, and unbelievable power ballads. One of Canada's top bands of all time. 52 years and counting.

A great Canadian band that deserves more credit for their work, this song is a perfect example of pure joy. I have one of their first albums on an 8 track tape and the song I remember back then in the 70's was You Could Have Been A Lady, that song deserves a listen. You guys get chills quite a lot which means great sounding music. Kudos to you.

That's the beauty of April Wine: there were 3 guitarist. The lead singer is the main lead guitarist, but all three swapped playing lead or even would do double and triple harmonized leads, while the bassist's growl bass tone and drummer held down the rhythm.

The Pink Floyd band started around the same time as April Wine in 1969 so it's difficult who influenced who between these bands that emerged at the same time. Rush was another Canadian band that started in the same year of 1968 or 1969. So claiming one bank influenced all the others is impossible to make.

Love your channel and love your reactions. I do wish , though, that you guys would react to more black artists and groups. The contributions black artists have made to American culture is undeniable. Groups like Glady’s Knight and the Pips, The Temptations, Earth, Wind and Fire, The O’jays, The Supremes, The Jackson 5, Heatwave... the list goes on and on. Soulful R&B music that touches you like no other. I know you like rock and roll, and I do, too, but you really need to turn yourselves on to some R& B soulful music. Teddy Pendergrass, Luther Vandross, Glad’ys Knight, Whitbey Houston, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Al Green, Tina Turner, Barry White...are all legends. You guys need the exposure to this great music. Otherwise, you’re missing out. Just think about it, that’s all I ask. Just react to one song. Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes and their song, The Love I Lost, would be a good one, or Glady’s Knight and The Pips and their song, Midnight Train to Georgia...one of the best songs ever done. Do the live Soul Train version. You haven’t been exposed to American music if you haven’t listened to Midnight Train to Georgia.
