April Wine was so cool at the time, that declaring the fact that you were a fan of April Wine inherently made you more cool. If you decide to try another one, "I Like To Rock" will NOT disappoint! There's a creativity element to that song that had not and still has not ever been duplicated. Hint: it required their three guitars line-up.
First concert I ever attended way back in 1977. One of those bands that were just as good live as in studio. Saw them live at least 10 times. Always put on a great show.
I have seen them live 3 times, and had tickets to see Myles live solo last year, but he passed a few weeks before the show. 😢 Sign Of The Gypsy Queen was written and originally recorded by Canadian singer Lawrence Hud in 73. You seem to have missed that there are 3 guitarists (all lead guitar quality) plus bass and drums.
When all three were shredding towards the end they damn near morphed into Iron Maiden. Then that absolute pimp on the skins verified his ability in the heavy solo. An amazing performance I have never seen before. Thanks very much for reacting to April Wine. So fire. Now I have to see if you have reacted to Streetheart.
I seen them at Parlee Beach N.B in early 90's, the entire crowd was on their feet. It was a great concert with Meat Loaf, Ugly Kid Joe and Def Leppard as the headliner. When these guys played "Tonight is a wonderful night" and "Roller" the crowd went nuts.
This was from their "Nature of the Beast" album, it was big back in the 80s/90s, your probably getting deja vu because your parents or older siblings listened to it
I like the comment that it felt deja vu. For as old as I am, I only discovered this song 10 years ago. It seemed familiar and yet I never heard it before. She should listen to the studio version of this ass well if she likes the live version.
You need to check out the Icon album "Night of the Crime" it's incredible and I know it has to be the songs from a movie. I've never figured out which one though...
My big brother's had some of their albums and I have to say that enjoy this song because the rest aren't really that good. I bought the other albums my brother's owned, Zeppelin, priest, Chicago, Nazareth but never have I bought an album form April wine
On this album, Nature of the Beast, EVERY song is perfection! No fillers, all killers!

Roller is another one. Myles Goodwyn explains it on Beyond the Vinyl.
They were so good. Terribly under rated.

Definitely enjoyed the guys live!!
Saw April wine back in the late 90's touring with Blue Oyster Cult. Great show! Great band!
April Wine is a Canadian staple, & I’d be surprised if you didn’t recognize it, in some portion
I love April Wine, and thank you for doing this hon! Now you must do the studio version, and please do Roller! Cheers 🍻🎶
this is pure canadian Dad Rock. They were pretty big here in Canada, the radio always played their songs.
This song is actually a cover, but SO much better than the original it's almost unrecognizable.
Nice reaction by the way, you're so fun!
Saw them last year with new lead singer, along with Lita Ford at Casino in Manistee, Michigan. Still damn awesome!
April Wine is a great classic rock band!
Just saw April Wine for the first time in Toronto one month ago (almost to the day). Still a great band.
Love April Wine one of the best bands ever sold out stadiums in there day.

Seen them around 1980-1983 open for Molly Hatchet great concert!
Where I live, we call that fog, and I remember that stage set up and was at a concert during that tour and was in that fog for sure.

Good old Canadian rockers.
April Wine create that song in the 70s you got to go back before the movie that you're thinking of which is 30 Days of Night
The effects processor I use labels that guitar effect as "Violin."
They played at my high school.
You’re such a music geek, I love it ❤️🇨🇦

You need to see the Eddie Van Halen solo. You wanna see a guitar not sound like a guitar.
I think the movie you're thinking of is called "30 days of night".😂
Yeah, me too
First time enjoying your channel and very impressed. Keep up the great work! BTW. You sound like a prairie girl. Hope I'm not wrong.
fog not smoke, from dry ice "machine"
What you're hearing in the single guitar intro is not reverb. It's called echo.!
Yeah Ray.
This whole album is a goodin’.
U should chk it out.
You need more April Wine in your life....just story tellers...
You need to check out the Icon album "Night of the Crime" it's incredible and I know it has to be the songs from a movie. I've never figured out which one though...
Ray, he’s using pedals.
Or, the guitar is plugged into a back stage synthesizer.

Hello, I wanted to ask if you could react to make me famous of Kim Dracula pls, I beg you, he is one of the best singers right now
Are you trying to say, grandiose?
Probably Canada's best ever rock band. Listen to Roller Official Video. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Song is based on a hurricane not vampires
This song is about Kamala
