I doubt I'm the only one who detests the awkwardness of the self-introduction, small talk, closing and repeat. Even though I'm very social, those kinds of situations make me very uncomfortable. I watched this video in my home here in Ecuador. I moved three years ago. Before I left the U.S. I stocked up on bras because I figured finding professional fitters like those at Soma, would not be likely. Then, during the first year I lost weight. Afterwards, quite a number of my bras were too large in the cup. I packed some of them away. When you got to the part of the video about your favorites and held one up to make your point, I thought, ‘Wow, that bra looks familiar.’ I went to my stash in the drawer close by. Sure enough, I have four of that style: two 1” minimizers in black and nude and two 3” minimizers in the same colors. I had put them away because they had felt a bit snug. I tried them on and found they are just perfect now. I am so glad I watched your video. Your presentations are top notch. Thanks for producing them. I know it takes valuable time, Dominique.

Thank you! I'm one who asked about bras when you wore the black blouse with cut-in shoulders. I've always loved Wacoal, but it's extremely frustrating to shop at department stores like Macy's and Dillards because of the lack of knowledge and service. (So irritating to have to re-dress and go find another style or size!!) I switched to Soma a few years ago and have never gone back to the dept. store! Their products are such nice quality, the employees know their inventory, and they don't forget about you once you're in the dressing room.

This is funny but once I went to black tie affair I had on a strapless bra. I was so uncomfortable. After a white I had to go to the ladiesroom and take it off. They're lace free and made of ultrasmooth material and dresses just glide over them! No lumps, no bumps and the material keeps you cool in summer, warm in winter. I love your way of respectfully incorporating do’s & do nots. I have a request & realize my request may not be your situation ( or apply to the majority of women) but It’s my reality. After several surgeries I opted for a prophylactic double mastectomy w/ no reconstruction. It turned out to be the best decision for my health & I am happy with all aspects. However, finding clothing & undergarments to properly fit has been challenging. My go to is a silky stretch camisole that provides softness & coverage so when tops bow out at certain angles my breast area is discretely covered. Would you have any suggestions for other clothing etc... darts are not helpful any more! 😉. Resources are virtually nonexistent, any ideas are very welcomed. Thank you for taking the time to read this & for not being judgmental. 🌸

Since you are the "make up guru" quick question what do you feel is a good foundation that is dewy on the skin? I love a matt but since Im over 40 with skin as dry as the desert I just cannot wear it anymore (very sad.) Im going broke buying everything and not finding what Im looking for and Im sick of 20 year olds trying to help me they have no clue, any suggestions?

Plus i lived in Europe for 6 years and somehow developed a allergic reaction to Lancôme photogenic foundation last year, I've tried lots of brands since then from Walgreens or Walmart and just have no luck. I was thinking about minerals, but powder never works on my dry skin. If you find something let me know.

So funny! I use all these undergarments and secrets. I started out professionally, in the Philadelphia investment arena, and it's such a man's world. I had to come up with my own technics. We always wore hose, so I wore control top, without panties, no bulges! Being under 5'5", most would come up to the bra line and create that smooth effect, without lines or waistbands. I usually only bought/buy the basics in nude and black. That way, I don't have to worry if I'm wearing white, that something will show. I really enjoy your videos, so keep them coming!
The couple pieces I own from Spanx I purchased for the exact reason Dominique stated. I simply wanted a smoother silhouette under knits or unlined thinner fabrics. I own a camisole with bust part stretchy so you can wear your bra, but the back smooths out the inevitable bumps/bulges I always get below the band in the back. I wear a light control brief because it does not ride up or show lines. I usually get the lightest "control" possible or size up or both to prevent the whole sausage casing feeling/look. Great tips. So many women wear the wrong size, style or color of bra. Every women needs needs a bra wardrobe. It's called foundations for a reason:)

One undergarment I swear by when wearing a dress is a good old-fashioned full slip! I live in the UK and buy a nude one or a black one. They're lace free and made of ultrasmooth material and dresses just glide over them! No lumps, no bumps and the material keeps you cool in summer, warm in winter.
And best of all: they're comfortable!!

I purchased 2 of the Soma bras yesterday! I wanted to purchase the foundation but the nearest store is over an hour away. It looks amazing. I really appreciate your videos. They are informative without any idol chit chat. Your channel is my favorite!
I love your way of respectfully incorporating do’s & do nots. I have a request & realize my request may not be your situation ( or apply to the majority of women) but It’s my reality. After several surgeries I opted for a prophylactic double mastectomy w/ no reconstruction. It turned out to be the best decision for my health & I am happy with all aspects. However, finding clothing & undergarments to properly fit has been challenging. My go to is a silky stretch camisole that provides softness & coverage so when tops bow out at certain angles my breast area is discretely covered. Would you have any suggestions for other clothing etc... darts are not helpful any more! 😉. Resources are virtually nonexistent, any ideas are very welcomed. Thank you for taking the time to read this & for not being judgmental. 🌸

I am a nurse and love wearing scrub sets which is soft and washes well, not requiring ironing (Healing Hands) But, some of their styles do not have back pockets to give you that extra coverage from your under wear... Since you are the "make up guru" quick question what do you feel is a good foundation that is dewy on the skin? I love a matt but since Im over 40 with skin as dry as the desert I just cannot wear it anymore (very sad.) Im going broke buying everything and not finding what Im looking for and Im sick of 20 year olds trying to help me they have no clue, any suggestions?
J M I'm in Colorado and have the same dry issues. Plus i lived in Europe for 6 years and somehow developed a allergic reaction to Lancôme photogenic foundation last year, I've tried lots of brands since then from Walgreens or Walmart and just have no luck. I was thinking about minerals, but powder never works on my dry skin. If you find something let me know.

So funny! I use all these undergarments and secrets. I started out professionally, in the Philadelphia investment arena, and it's such a man's world. I had to come up with my own technics. We always wore hose, so I wore control top, without panties, no bulges! Being under 5'5", most would come up to the bra line and create that smooth effect, without lines or waistbands. I usually only bought/buy the basics in nude and black. That way, I don't have to worry if I'm wearing white, that something will show.

The couple pieces I own from Spanx I purchased for the exact reason Dominique stated. I simply wanted a smoother silhouette under knits or unlined thinner fabrics. I own a camisole with bust part stretchy so you can wear your bra, but the back smooths out the inevitable bumps/bulges I always get below the band in the back. I wear a light control brief because it does not ride up or show lines. I usually get the lightest "control" possible or size up or both to prevent the whole sausage casing feeling/look. Great tips. So many women wear the wrong size, style or color of bra. Every women needs needs a bra wardrobe. It's called foundations for a reason:)

There are directions on the back which tell you what powder corrects what color.

Yes I have used self adhesive nu bra or Chantelle for over 30 years. Available from Nordstrom and the second from Walmart. Provides coverage under scrubs Beautifully.
