I used to be a runner before my accident and I used to cycle to stay fit. Sometimes life is a challenge but I get through it! Being on WW means that I eat healthy and stay fit. I was just recently diagnosed with breast cancer at 56 and am now starting my radiation treatments. I’ve always ate healthy and exercised but feeling like I need to change it up some with the new diagnosis. Trying to eat lean organic protein, vegetables and healthy fats. Gave up alcohol and all sugar. Dominique has always been an inspiration!

Retiring tomorrow, officially after 42 years of flying (flight attendant) for American. In June I decided at 66 I really needed to get healthy and since my lifestyle was going to change I began my journey to lose weight. My routine is hiking around a mountain 6 miles 3 days a week and 3 days I cycle for an hour in my garage. Started resistance training with bands as well. Have lost 31 pounds and I feel fantastic and motivated to keep up the healthy life change! Highly recommend!! Enjoying your videos always!❤️

Now in my mid-60's I can't consume a large quantity of food in one sitting but I find that eating a little bit every 2-3 hours, as your friend Menopause Taylor does, is what works for me and keeps me energized all day long!

Stress from the job? 🤔 I am on my 60's taking care of our quadriplegic cerebral palsy son who is 23 years old who needs care 24 hours a day who is non verbal and in diapers. We also changed our diets we cut grains, non dairy, nightshade vegetables, we eat grass fed and finished meats, pasture raised chicken, pasture raised organic eggs etc.etc and all the vegetables and cruciferous are organic, I started to work out on the rebounder every morning for 30 minutes (while my husband is feeding my son through his Gastrostomy tube) the way that we are eating changed our lives and our health we've never been overweight but he lost 12 pounds I lost 7 pounds and we feel great! We have much more energy (we need it) we go to bed around 11:30 pm sometimes past 12:00 (depends of our son mood) and get up 6:30 am (if we are lucky) we decided to change our diet because we want to live until we are 120 (with good health and with our senses) for our son. My husband says I look like better than when I was in my thirties 😂😂😂. I follow her for years and I am happy for her that she changed her diet too, always looking forward for new tips and advice now I know what kind of butter to buy 😊

Love this, at 52, I don’t eat too much red meat, I find that it sits in my gut too long. I also limit dairy and alcohol. I eat lots of fruits- can eat a whole cantaloupe in one day🤗

I am now in my 45s, I follow you as you inspire me for my future well being. I might not have the expensive house and the luxury pool but my city center appartement is pretty good. What makes my day is a small detail in nature that I try to focus, to exercise and hit a little goal everyday and a warm hug of my children. As I watched I thought to myself, I do not think I would like going to work so late but about a min later I changed my mind. How lucky you are to have energy and sunshine to get things done for yourself everyday. I leave for work at 7:30am, get up at 4:30 to try to eat, exercise and dress. Just too tired after work to do all that you are able to. You have such a nice “morning” routine!

Dominique, this video was so important to me and couldn’t have come at a better time. I’ve let myself go during Covid and gained 10 pounds when I was already 10 pounds overweight to begin with. I need to lose about 20 pounds to feel healthy again. Menopause is not my friend. Yesterday, I went shopping with a girlfriend to the Nordstrom anniversary sale and nothing looked good. My old size was way too tight and I left the store feeling defeated. I needed this video to motivate me to get back into shape, focus on me and get healthy again. Thank you ❤️

I have started intermittent fasting, I lost 15 pounds in a short time. I am 55 and just hit menopause. I don’t get as hungry now that I have started my fasting . I am a foodie, cooking became my hobby as I retired early because of the pandemic. I found your channel during this time and soooo love all the info I have learned. You have such grace and beauty. I love Avo toast but I skip the egg, squeeze fresh lemon juice over it and cracked black pepper and if I worry about protein I add a layer of Cedars Lemon hummus or put on the side with veggies for dipping.
Yes, food is a HUGE part of feeling great especially during menopause. I’m about to turn 50 and went full vegan 7 years ago and I’ve had barely a symptom (very grateful & not to sound boastful, just know that it works!!). I don’t feel like I’ve sacrificed anything as there are so many amazing plant foods out there & my gut thanks me for it! Great video as usual & always fun to watch 😊👍🏻

You and your home are so elegant. I started eating the Ezekiel bread because of you, although my husband calls it dirt bread, so I buy the cinnamon raisin. I also take vitamins D and K, but I also take calcium and magnesium with it for bone health, doctor’s orders.

But I’ve been taught until I get miserable enough then I will do something about it. I’m almost at that point! I do the same exercises on my stairs since I am not going out for walks right now due to balance issues. It works just as well and I am safely in my own home. Purchased a treadmill too, so I can walk but still be at home around my family just in case. Safety first!
Amen Dominique!! Menopause brought on so many changes in my body!! I was miserable! I know now that I can't eat the way I used to nor do I sleep the way I used to. I changed my eating habits and it has really helped. I try to exercise more and eat healthy snacks like almonds as well. Thank you for sharing and helping us to feel that we are not alone with the struggles of menopause and can still feel healthy and vibrant. You are a beautiful person inside and out. Have u guys ever tried fasting. I was eating a lot of sweets it was killing my body. I went on a 5day fast and I feel amazing all the inflammation in my body was gone, my joints feel amazing. Now I’m doing intermittent fasting,staying away from sugar,feeling like a new person. I’ve learned alot from watching dr.sten ekberg on utube.I had no idea how much harm unhealthy eating can do to us.why are we not taught this in school ,it’s a shame.
@@peggybinkley7870 I do intermittent fasting but with my issues with my GI and meds I have to have food. I’ve done the gluten free, no dairy,no sugar and made no difference. Lupus,RA,Sclerderma,Hashimotos.Sadly back on prednisone but glad you found something to help you

That was my morning for 26 years, my husband and I often passed each other during the day when one of us would leave for work and the other one was returning. Our youngest is 18 and is living on campus locally and moves in to his dorm in two weeks. Those days when they are young are fleeting, I will miss sitting out in the cold for cross country and track meets. We finally are getting time to ourselves again. I continue to worry about my children, even as adults but there is a certain peace that comes with this time in your life.

I'm not sure why some men just won't make healthy choices so they can be strong and active and enjoy life with us late into the golden years. Now in my mid-60's I can't consume a large quantity of food in one sitting but I find that eating a little bit every 2-3 hours, as your friend Menopause Taylor does, is what works for me and keeps me energized all day long!

Stress from the job? 🤔 I am on my 60's taking care of our quadriplegic cerebral palsy son who is 23 years old who needs care 24 hours a day who is non verbal and in diapers. We also changed our diets we cut grains, non dairy, nightshade vegetables, we eat grass fed and finished meats, pasture raised chicken, pasture raised organic eggs etc.etc and all the vegetables and cruciferous are organic, I started to work out on the rebounder every morning for 30 minutes (while my husband is feeding my son through his Gastrostomy tube) the way that we are eating changed our lives and our health we've never been overweight but he lost 12 pounds I lost 7 pounds and we feel great! We have much more energy (we need it) we go to bed around 11:30 pm sometimes past 12:00 (depends of our son mood) and get up 6:30 am (if we are lucky) we decided to change our diet because we want to live until we are 120 (with good health and with our senses) for our son. My husband says I look like better than when I was in my thirties 😂😂😂. I follow her for years and I am happy for her that she changed her diet too, always looking forward for new tips and advice now I know what kind of butter to buy 😊

I am tempted to say give me your 3 kids and take my boy for one day and you will know what really stress is 🤣 Anyway we adore him in 23 years of his life never had a babysitter (we don't trust) and he goes with us wherever we go, we will never change him for anything we brought him into this world and we will take of him. Love this, at 52, I don’t eat too much red meat, I find that it sits in my gut too long. I also limit dairy and alcohol. I eat lots of fruits- can eat a whole cantaloupe in one day🤗

I am now in my 45s, I follow you as you inspire me for my future well being. I might not have the expensive house and the luxury pool but my city center appartement is pretty good. What makes my day is a small detail in nature that I try to focus, to exercise and hit a little goal everyday and a warm hug of my children. My skincare is a ritual for me, I try to stick on it everyday.

As I watched I thought to myself, I do not think I would like going to work so late but about a min later I changed my mind. How lucky you are to have energy and sunshine to get things done for yourself everyday. I leave for work at 7:30am, get up at 4:30 to try to eat, exercise and dress. Just too tired after work to do all that you are able to. You have such a nice “morning” routine!

Dominique, this video was so important to me and couldn’t have come at a better time. I’ve let myself go during Covid and gained 10 pounds when I was already 10 pounds overweight to begin with. I need to lose about 20 pounds to feel healthy again. Menopause is not my friend. Yesterday, I went shopping with a girlfriend to the Nordstrom anniversary sale and nothing looked good. My old size was way too tight and I left the store feeling defeated. I needed this video to motivate me to get back into shape, focus on me and get healthy again. Thank you ❤️

I have started intermittent fasting, I lost 15 pounds in a short time. I am 55 and just hit menopause. I don’t get as hungry now that I have started my fasting . I am a foodie, cooking became my hobby as I retired early because of the pandemic. I found your channel during this time and soooo love all the info I have learned. You have such grace and beauty. Yes, food is a HUGE part of feeling great especially during menopause. I’m about to turn 50 and went full vegan 7 years ago and I’ve had barely a symptom (very grateful & not to sound boastful, just know that it works!!). I don’t feel like I’ve sacrificed anything as there are so many amazing plant foods out there & my gut thanks me for it! Great video as usual & always fun to watch 😊👍🏻

Last year I’ve gained 25lbs and its a miserable feeling. But I’ve been taught until I get miserable enough then I will do something about it. I’m almost at that point!

Besides enjoying seeing your beautiful kitchen, I enjoyed trying out the exercises you did and tried to exercise with you. That was fun and inspired me to try it again! I am one of those who only walks and so I need motivation to incorporate calisthenics. Thanks so much!
I do the same exercises on my stairs since I am not going out for walks right now due to balance issues. It works just as well and I am safely in my own home. Purchased a treadmill too, so I can walk but still be at home around my family just in case. Safety first!
Amen Dominique!! Menopause brought on so many changes in my body!! I was miserable! I know now that I can't eat the way I used to nor do I sleep the way I used to. I changed my eating habits and it has really helped. I try to exercise more and eat healthy snacks like almonds as well. Thank you for sharing and helping us to feel that we are not alone with the struggles of menopause and can still feel healthy and vibrant. You are a beautiful person inside and out. Your husband is so sweet as well. He's so funny, he wants his steak!!

Have u guys ever tried fasting. I was eating a lot of sweets it was killing my body. I went on a 5day fast and I feel amazing all the inflammation in my body was gone, my joints feel amazing. Now I’m doing intermittent fasting,staying away from sugar,feeling like a new person. I’ve learned alot from watching dr.sten ekberg on utube.I had no idea how much harm unhealthy eating can do to us.why are we not taught this in school ,it’s a shame.
@@peggybinkley7870 I do intermittent fasting but with my issues with my GI and meds I have to have food. I’ve done the gluten free, no dairy,no sugar and made no difference. Lupus,RA,Sclerderma,Hashimotos.Sadly back on prednisone but glad you found something to help you

That was my morning for 26 years, my husband and I often passed each other during the day when one of us would leave for work and the other one was returning. Our youngest is 18 and is living on campus locally and moves in to his dorm in two weeks. Those days when they are young are fleeting, I will miss sitting out in the cold for cross country and track meets. We finally are getting time to ourselves again. I continue to worry about my children, even as adults but there is a certain peace that comes with this time in your life.
@@loridobos7174 The same happens to me. Our kids are quite far away now and we meet each other only a few times a year. I miss them so deeply and I am always worrying whether they are ok or not.

This is such a struggle for me and so many other women I know, including my own mom. I'm not sure why some men just won't make healthy choices so they can be strong and active and enjoy life with us late into the golden years. My husband will eat healthy with me during the day but then snack overnight. 😕
