Dear Dominique, you are really beautiful and classy and I love your advice on how to wear scarves. But what I like even more about you is how positive, cheerful and fun you are! Watching your videos makes me feel really happy and it's great to know you are out there brightening up the world! Take care!
Going back over your videos making sure I haven’t missed any and I came across this one which I remember being the first video of yours that I watched. Wow how time flies. All these years later and your still providing fabulous informative videos. Thanks Dominique. !!!
I love your warm and down to earth delivery and demonstration-made me laugh along with you when you said the scarf needs to be bigger to make a halter top! I can’t wait to try these ideas. Fun fun (and I love your hair color and style)! 💐❤️
This is the first of your videos I saw and that dragged me to your channel some years ago. I've never regretted. I admire you, I always enjoy your optimism, realism and your good practices. You're an inspiration. I love and respect you, you're a gift into my life. 💝
I hope I don't seem too nutty, but I am so happy to have found your channel. I just turned 45 in December and have felt a bit down. Grays have come in. New lines. Feeling tired. Gained some weight. Insomnia. My skin acts so different. Your energy, ideas and tutorials are easy to follow and I can relate. Very encouraging that I can age gracefully. I am also a fan of scarves and excited to try out your suggested looks. I am a fan of finding steal deal items too and no shame searching at second hand and vintage shops. I will definitely check out your videos time to time when I need a fresh look that doesn't make me feel overdone, yet beautiful for my age. Thank you for following your passion and enjoying the act of sharing. Your genuine enthusiasm and humility is very apparent; which make watching your tutorials fun and inspiring. I wish you all the success.
Karen Lm I am 54 and I just love all Dominique's tutorials and videos. Her positive attitude, her high energy and how she is so like a "best friend" makes her so real and grounded. Keep your chin up and woman... You will only look as old as you make yourself feel! Do exercise, drink tons of water, let me suggest Melatonin which is all natural and great combined with L-Tryptophan (also natural) for relaxation, good sleep and mood enhancer, can find it at the Vitamin Shoppe to take at night before bedtime. FYI studies have found that Melatonin also enhances hair growth how about that? If you feel tire try natural green tea capsules; they are fat burners as well. We buy all those at Costco amazing price! Can't compete with Costco and the quality. I bought the Clarisonic Smart Profile after watching one of Dominique's tutorials. That is why watching her videos are so much fun and educational.
Malli 778 Malli 778 I completely agree. Thank you also for your great ideas. I look forward to trying them out. I appreciate the encouragement as well. I wish you the very best.
Hope you're feeling better by now! B-days can be hard as we get older. Hormones can start changing in our forties- also our thyroid. You might want to check both with the doctor. I'm 54 and just started menopause but I've heard bio-identical hormones are fantastic-they help with moods, sleep and they're fantastic for the skin -unfortunately this specific kind is not covered under insurance (if they were for men you betcha they'd be covered!) but other kinds are -it's worth checking out!) Cheers. Christina
I really enjoyed your ideas. At first I thought the scarf looked so large, but as you created all the looks with the same scarf, I realized that because it's large it has to be silk, or silk-like so it doesn't look bulky. Also, various colors make it more versatile to more outfits. Thanks for the great lessons. You are very pretty and I can tell you have a loving heart.
I used to fly to French Polynesia often and learned many ways to tie a Sarong. This reminded me of those days. Another good halter look is to fully open the scarf. Fold the bottom piece under a few times and tie it behind your back at or near your waist. Take the top and tie it behind your neck, The front of the scarf looks like a draped blouse and the bottom of it is tied and fits against waist for a lovely elegant look. I have worn this look under a cream silk pantsuit for evening. Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed viewing!
I just found some beautiful scarves and while looking for some ideas on how to wear them, came across your video. Thank you so much for this fun tutorial.
Love your style. Very classy lady. Thanks for all you tips I have so many lovely silk scarves I haven’t worn for years now I am going to bring them out and start wearing them thanks to you ❤
I love all the examples you gave on this video. I actually love scarves too and have one handy in my car at all times. You never know when it will come in handy! Great ideas Dominique!!👍
This is the first time I've seen a vid from her and had to come and give a like. And then... I see 719 dislikes against 15 likes. I could not believe my eyes. There are so much bad and hate and trash people out there. This are actually great ideas and very helpful. And what people do?... they most critize probably because they didn't come up with the idea themselves or pure envy. Human race a deceitful race! I THINK IT IS FABULOUS!!!Brava!
You added such class to a scarf, in every possible way....I wasn't a scarf person, until I saw this video....Blessings to you as well, all the way from Ontario!
Thank you, Dominique for all your terrific advise. It's a pleasure watching you and seeling what you have in store next. BTW, has anyone ever mentioned you resemble a young Stephanie Powers?
So true! That’s exactly who she reminds me of too, and why I feel like I know her .. Decades of watching Stephanie powers ...what a great person to look like, huh ;))))
Dominique, I discovered you several months ago & I have become obsessed with your videos! You are so beautiful & classy. I absolutely LOVE your hair in this particular video. Actually, you inspired me when I had my monthly salon appt. When I went to my salon 2 months ago I had her cut a lot of my hair off, deciding with my age approaching 65, maybe it was time for me to grow up & adopt a classier mature (but still fun) look. Well, I live in a very small town in North Central Kansas & it didn't matter how many times I showed my beautician your photos & part of a video, I came home & proceeded to put in some layering because she had just left me the same length all the way around. I have more coarse hair, now, but my hair loves movement, especially at the crown. So, this past month's appointment I tried again to get closer to your look. When I came home, she had essentially given me an old lady 4 layer cut which, when curled, looked like a large bushel basket on my head. I have been just sick about it & wish I lived in a larger community, like you do, where there is more talent. I am from a larger metropolis but married a farmer & am stuck with what is available. I realize there are talented beauticians in smaller communities but finding them is quite a journey. I will keep trying but, presently, feel like I look like my hair went through a blender. I just hate it! You are an inspiration & I'm so glad I found you.
Love, love, love I like scarves and hats and you gave me several ways in wearing my scarfs in the future, thank u for being very detailed may God continue to bless you
You are such a fun presenter and I enjoyed the video presentation with some new ideas for me to try out with two boxes full of scarves. I love your orange handbag too by the way :)

I am New to your channel, but am TOTALLY HOOKED. You are the most genuine, beautiful person inside & out. I just love the way you are so open about what you have done cosmetically . So, THANK YOU KINDLY - 🇿🇦 REP OF SOUTH AFRICA
You're so gorgeous and elegant! I love this video (already subscribed!) because I also love scarves myself. I have so many for spring and winter and really don't know how to style them and get a bit boring just leaving them lose on my shoulders - now I have other ways to wear them thanks to you! Can you make a video for winter scarves? Looking forward to watch more of your videos. Cheers from Austin, TX! ;D
Fun, fun, fun. Thanks for reminding me of the scarves I have in my closet. I wear a parero cover-up on the beach using the 2nd to the last demo, of course it's bigger & just covering a bathing suit & can be long or short depending on the size of the scarf. But you can fish the ends through a wooden or shell cut-out to bring ends together before tying behind your neck.
Wonderful presentation and clear description of how actually bring your wardrobe to a new level. Thank you again and great success in the future! A fan Alma'

I love scarves - that jacket idea is simply fabulous. I have an arthritic neck, so scarves are a godsend to me to keep my neck warm - if they look stylish, too, so much the better. Thank you for this brilliant video 🥰
Idk if you've already covered this on another video, you are so helpful!! But I love how your hair moves but doesn't fall into your eyes constantly like my hair when I try to style my long bangs to wave away from my face!!!! I know about setting lotion for hair and although it is a helpful tool, I don't use it anymore, but anyway your hair is my favorite!!!! I wish you where my best friend 20 years ago when I didn't understand that humility can make your hair flat and frizzy. I have lots of natural wave, and I've never really aced back combing and my hair look absolutely flawless perfect during the blow dry, then I'm fighting my hair to look natural and stay put like the way your hair looks!!!! Anyway you probably hear that every day, but nice work. Its amazing to know someone can look so well put together without fretting, or nervous fidget. You are my style hero

Thank you, Dominique! I love scarves, might say I am a “scarfaholic”! One problem I have, though, is they “slip around “ and find myself constantly adjusting ( which is not classy). Any tips on how to keep the scars in place so not always fussing with them? Thanks again 😊

MegaTinni I could see ONLY 15. That's why I said it.

Zashorigin people who dislike probably are trashy themselves who know nothing about being feminine and elegant.
Actually we have to remember there are a lot of mindless nerds ( young and old)who simply surf youtube to just do that vote down at random.
what a GORGEOUS lady. Love your hair, face and your over all look.

Fabulous video when I was searching on what to do with scarves. Love the jacket the western & the covering the hair one! You’re refreshingly honest with integrity. Well done
