I love when they do everyday things 😊 It would be awesome if they made a series for things people usually take the shortcut on, ie box cake, or relatively simple things like scrambled eggs, and show where there's a way to make it so much better with really simple changes. And add the science like she does here. I feel like I learn to be a more intuitive cook if I know why things interact with each other the way they do. Sydney Parker its a quart container. Its a disposable container that is often used in kitchen prep. I use to use them for my station as a saute chef. Things like scallions, shallots, grated cheese, procuitto, etc. They also make ideal drinking cups because of there size and availability. I use to make a strawberry lemonade spritzer and then put the lid on and cut a slit for my straw. Spill proof so no worry of it getting in the food you cook.

I'm used to seeing Claire attempting to make something she starts out with no idea how to make, and trial-and-erroring her way to a perfect gourmet version of a mass-produced snack food. She gets practically the whole kitchen involved tasting things and suggesting alternatives. This is my first time watching one where she's doing her main thing, she knows all the best ways to do each step, and it all flows seamlessly from start to finish. This one's fun to watch in a little different way from the "Gourmet Attempts..." ones.

I'm used to seeing Claire attempting to make something she starts out with no idea how to make, and trial-and-erroring her way to a perfect gourmet version of a mass-produced snack food. She gets practically the whole kitchen involved tasting things and suggesting alternatives. This is my first time watching one where she's doing her main thing, she knows all the best ways to do each step, and it all flows seamlessly from start to finish. This one's fun to watch in a little different way from the "Gourmet Attempts..." ones.
The twinkle in her eye when she says 'cake is my favorite food'.. awesome..
