watching this in the middle of the day on an empty stomach 😄😄
I’m watching this while fasting 🥴
@@alfyryan6949 😭 stay strong
@@alfyryan6949stay strong brother 💪
im watching in the middle of the night but with a full plate of food :D
This type of warkop tend to add their own sauce and recipe on top of the original. Modified indomie. Also indonesian consider indomie as comfort food. I think in malaysia they have maggi modified like this.
I modify mine too. I replace the brown sauce (kecap manis) with another brand. I don't use the hot sauce because I have weak stomach for spicy food.
Yes it's called Maggie gooreng
@@jonconnor0729seriously the sambal ? The kecap i get it bango taste better but the sambal because u can handle the heat? I never heard someone cant handle the heat of that
@@RuRu0091our taste buds can handle it, our stomach cant
@@RuRu0091also indomie uses chili powder, theres no sambal in most packets
for some unknown reason, indomie that was cooked by others always feels more delicious..
Facts
😂
yeah, like they turn it into a bowl of water noodles instead of mixing it with sauces
use a tablespoon of the noodle water to mix in with your seasonings, the resulting emulsion helps the seasoning stick to the noodle better creating a saucy coating, the technique is similar to pasta.
Thats just you I make really good indomie bro 😏
anyone else find the way he puts the bowl on table satisfying to watch?
the sound when he put noodles into the bowl..
it's the way he cracks open the packet and breaking the noodle in half in one move that does it for me.
timestamps
the way he tears those packets too
that shows how experienced he is at cooking the indomie. though indomie is instant food, not everyone can cook it the way he did. bravo!
I always enjoy these food videos with no commentary & background music. Thank You for sharing this, looks delicious!
thanks for watching
I prefer no commentary and music as well it's just the food i want to focus on
Man, I feel lucky Vietnam imports this instant noodles. Because it ROCKS! That thing is delicious.
But then again, I'm feeling unlucky right now 'cause I'm watching this with a phucking EMPTY STOMACH! Damn.
I'm heading to the supermarket to get me some Indomie right after this.
Careful boy, losing a kidney is not a joke.
@@Red-qk7hv Yeah I am fully aware. Gotta need a lot of water to flush the industrial salt and oil away. Advice noted, thanks!
@khaiphamba5991 it's a myth spread out by the competitor and renstaurant owner, same like cigarette
@@agusfirmansyah35 I don't think so. Eating too salty, too much industrial oil in instant noodles in general will put stress to your kidney. That's no brainer, bro.
@@khaiphamba5991 it depend on your life habit, if you working in office, sitting, and use more brain than muscle, every good food is dangerous for you.
I tasted Indomie once as it's imported to Vietnam, it was fascinating and honestly one of the best instant noodles to stir fry.
which flavor did you try? the usual mie goreng (fried noodle)?
@@ajediu Maybe, not too sure since I don't read Bahasa Indonesia. But I don't think the flavor matters much here but the noodle texture is. The packet was around 4400 IDR (or 7000 VND), but providing such stringy and chewy texture while not being too thin to stir fry so they wouldn't dry out after, that's THE goods.
I've got Hảo Hảo here which the noodle is too thin but the broth is definitely better, so it's for noodle soup not stir fry. Also A-One being popular as well with the thick noodles like Indomie, but it's not chewy enough but rough instead. Other instant noodle brands are mostly for noodle soup, so... you guess it.
I would prefer Mi Sedaap rather than Indo Mi. Mi Sedaap with original chicken flavour are so delicacy especially if stir fry. 😋😋
@@ophirbactrius8285lol indomie > mie sedaaap anyday of the week
Vietnamese food are far more healthier
As a singaporean, i am grateful to the Indonesians for selling this to us. In my most honest opinion, literally no other instant noodle brand beats Indomie, and i dont think i have to die on this hill, because everyone else agrees with me
I agree. Instant ramen tends to be way overflavored, while indomie is just right.
Although fresh ramen is going to be unbeatable lol
as an indonesian, im grateful for the medical services in singapore.
Probably the only thing Indonesians can agree with among themselves.
@@muhammadammarrasyid5780 bacotan anda merendahan sekali small kid
I prefer Samyang nowadays. It has a much bigger portion as compared to Indomie.
I first tried Indomie in the 90s, the fried shallot oil, chilli sauce, and the springy noodles just blew me away. Years later, l tried Koreans, but the noodles were too thick, and soup too sour caused bloatedness. Japanese version is nice but too similar. In my 60s now, l still prefer Indomie because it always reminds me of her (my first gf). we ate it together. 😭
thanks for watching
Btw does instant noodles or indomie invented thirty years ago???
@@chichib3295its invented in 54 years ago
@@chichib3295 World's first instant noodle was invented by Momofuku Ando in Japan, 1958. The first Indomie, soup-based noodle with chicken flavour, was launched in Indonesia, 1972. The original fried version, the brand's masterpiece, Indomie Goreng, was first launched in 1983.

It's not easy to turn dry Indomie Goreng into soup based noodle, i tried at home and failed 😂. In Jogja i like the fusion of fried rice and indomie goreng, the taste is really off the chart and spicy 😅
He combine regular noodle as well.
I think that red sauce is their secret recipe that made the difference.
bro, just add egg and slurry and it will be fine
its just a lot of water and MSG, whats hard about that?
@@FBI_Not You forgot something, Indonesia is the land of spices . You need more than msg to make delicious dishes 😆
I am a fan of Indomie. I have modified it myself several times and the results are good. Seeing this video makes me want to go to Indonesia to sit down and enjoy the authentic local Indomie.
thanks for watching
Cafe and warkop version always better, even the standard version, i don't know why
@@agusfirmansyah35minimum wage sweat and tears are the best seasoning 😂😭
So much plastic waste. Indomie should sell bulk versions that package like 20 noodles in a bag, plus bottled sauces and seasonings. I know I'd buy that.
thanks for watching
When u open the package and u let them out in the open air,the noodle won't taste good. The moisture seeped into the noodles would make it easy to grow fungus.
@@goodcook464 Won't matter to restaurants like this that cooks huge portions in a batch. As for us home cooks, we have refrigerators to keep the noodles dry once opened.
@@KanpachiGaming Yes maybe that is a good idea but how would they sell it? In wholesale stores, supermarket or convinience store or maybe in small shops. Not all of these restaurants bought it from big supermarket or wholesale stores and I don't think any households want to buy in a large package. It won't taste good if you store it in a fridge. Freshly opened noodle tastes better, the original taste did not change. Maybe it is better to make the manufacturer recycle those plastic wraps.
There is bigger version, Indomie Jumbo. But not as big as 20 portion.
Indomie supposed to be instant meal for someone who has no much time to cook. It didn't designed to feed whole group.
thanks youtube recommended me this video at 1 AM. now, excuse me making indomie.

Its, essentially mee goreng basah, pergi ke Kedai Siam man, you get the same result
its from aceh so its closer to you than most indonesians

Efficiency, care and morals. That's how most Indonesian workers are, except if you don't treat them well, Indonesians can be ruthless if provoked.
I have to try Indomie in Indonesia restaurants next time... This looks wayyyy better than any of the Indomies I've made at home before. The extra spices plus the rich soup from the eggs, all cooked with high heat, make it look extra tasty!
Believe me, it taste 200x better than make our own at home. Even local agreed 🤣
This place looks better than any restaurant in London. I miss home :(.
Indomie that served in cafe and warkop always taste better, even the standard version of it

true
Using Indomie in that way means to save cost. I am sure they calculatet it very sharp to get the best results. And it seems it´s better to use single wrapped packs include their seasonings.
The signature flavour is always a mystery. I wanna know so much so that I can try to cook it myself.

Well, i have this indomie in my kitchen right now so I plan to cook tomorrow 😂
We have to give credit to miss Nunuk Nuraeni, the maestro of the Indomie recipe. we always got that slogan: " Mie (noodles) are Chinese invention, but Indomie is Indonesian's"😂
Dan orang Amerika yang mendokumentasikan ini 👍
Sorry bro, but she is a Mrs instead of Miss.
The chef keeps the last bowl for himself. The thickest sauce at the bottom of the pot tastes the best!!

The most common name that is usually used by restaurants is "Indomie Bangladesh". But we locals usually call it by "Mie Nyemek". 'Nyemek' refers to a word we use when we're describing sticky, not-so-dry, not-so-wet texture mostly in foods. I'm still not sure why it's named after Bangladesh though. Maybe because the noodles there have similar texture to this "Mie Nyemek".
