In what way was the oil pump checked? He takes out the cluch parts, adjusts the oiler screw to some position then assembles the parts back together. ?

Yes, these are the steps i suppose, you take the parts out, clean them,check them and put them back together.Operator used burned engine oil so the pump luckily needed only cleaning at the clutch housing area.
