STIHL MS362 BASIC SERVICE-CHECK

Basic maintenance service of Stihl MS362 including spark plug and fuel filter replacement,carburator housing cleaning,visual inspection,and fuel ratio adjustment.
Client complaint about no oil on chainsaw bar, and as seen the cause is theuse of wrong oil type.

Oil type or not... Mine doesn't pump out as much oil in a full tank as that saw did in a quick startup and shutoff ???

Its a shame Stihl Platinum bar oil sold in US (made by a licensed local company) is garbage compared to the Stihl Forest sold in Europe. I remember a video from ProjectFarm testing different brands of bar oil. Stihl Platinum has ZERO antiwear additives in it, its just the cheapest, plain mineral oil, and the bar and chain got the most wear with it. The most inexpensive oil brand tested by him outperformed it by a large margin. Sad that Stihl stands by for such a product.

Got nothing to fear from C-M models(electronic carburator). Always well tuned and definitely easier to diagnosis and service.

MS 362 is with manual carb, MS362 C-M with electronics, C-M is very useful if you ruining your saw in different conditions cold hot high humidity or low high or low alt, in manual carb when temp drops alot you need to adjust carb. When you set your saw for high temp and then use this saw in cold temp air fuel mixture will lean out risking damage to the engine(it is not mandatory damage but when someone will push saw to the limit it may happen)

@@paschalidisstihl-shop4414 Nice video, explains it all. However the 'M' version from what I have read is very problematic. I guess the manual saw would be a better bet, especially for your nerves!! Otherwise, good job.

@@sawomirmiszczak134 I understand your point, however, i prefer "stupid, simple" things. Same with cars. Got old 046 and still works, but now needs some part replacement, getting expensive. So i bought 362 now without electronics, because i can manage and maintain my saw.

Αν το video ειχε και περιγραφη θα ηταν καλυτερο.....απευθυνεται βεβαιως σε ερασιτεχνες.Η απορια ειναι γιατι δεν αναφερει κανεις ουτε μηχανικος ουτε εμπορος τη αναγκη καθαρισμου του κυλινδρου και του συστηματος ψυξης απο σκονες, ροκανιδια τα οποια ειναι η βασικη αιτια που το καθε μηχανημα δουλευει σε υψηλες θερμοκρασιες με οτι αυτο συνεπαγεται.......
