I hope you are all coping well☺🙏And also, do you guys like the Q & A section at the end?? If you want me to continue this, feel free to ask me any! it's a good practice for me to speak in front of the camera without having script! haha^^
🌟 The best part of today’s video is 8:25!! What parent or caregiver worldwide can’t relate to THAT kind of sigh and smile of relief?!! 🌟💚🤗 I had never heard of anti mosquito stickers for kids before (7:56), but I see Amazon USA has them and also elastic wrist bands that adults can also wear (i was amazed that they last 250 hours!! because each one comes in a resealable bag that they can be stored in in between use). I found your Q&A to be very helpful. And your personal story of not having training chopsticks as a child, and how your mom and grandma spent a lot of time teaching you their proper use and etiquette, was heartwarming! 🙋🏻♂️🇨🇭🇺🇸
Omg SO relatable. Trying to drag my twins out of bed in the morning can be hilarious torture for all of us! Stay strong, Mamas out there!! 😁😆😉💕 Bento boxes are always a hit for lunch, but sometimes I have them make their own.
Miwa, I struggle with depression and anxiety almost every day. Your videos have been helping me to take Care of myself better, prepare Nice meals for me, and Also have peace of mind. Thank you so much for that! Blessed be you and your beautiful family! 😍
Thank you for sharing Ana. I hope you have someone to help with your anxiety. I think many people including myself are vulnerable, but that's ok.I accept that. we just need someone to talk to get over. I'm glad my video are making you feel better even just a little. Take care^^
あなたは世界一の母です! 🥺✌🏼 i do not speak english very good but i want to say you are a great mother and your kids are very lucky to have a loving caring mum who prepares yummy meal to eat ☺️🙌🏼
Look at that sound of satisfaction and sense of relief after your kids leave for school. I remember my mom used to feel the same when we were going to school. I love how simple your videos are ! no drama ,no fancy things simple so truthful. Loads of love please keep up the same and happy back to school day! 👌👌👌👍👍
I love the random mom bits you leave in! Like being late or asking your kid if they went potty. Too many youtubers are too unrelatable and seem unattainable
Thank you Miwa, it's always very interesting to see what your life is like. My kids are back in school finally too. It's easier for me now because they're both teenagers. I definitely remember how you must feel - it can be stressful in the mornings! I hope you all have a wonderful week 🙂
Enjoy your little ones. They grow too fast. It makes me smile to see that getting them up for school is a challenge for all moms. Thank you for sharing. ☺
I will surely try that sauce you had just made. Your expression makes it tempting enough. And I would say that was a great big smile to brighten up any morning. Keep smiling 😃.
For those of us in North America who want to sprinkle something on rice: try everything bagel spice! I also use middle eastern spices like dukkah. Many people my age (I’m a bit older at 42) learned how to properly use chopsticks with elastics!
I'm in North Georgia of the USA. I enjoy your recipes so much! Here in the south we use way to much oil and fat in cooking. Your recipes with such a wide assortment of veggies and flavors are a welcome change. I am learning that having small amounts and lots of color is wonderful! Domo arigato gozimus for sharing with us.
HI Miwa, I'm excited to make the apple, ginger dressing you showed us. Also, thanks for sharing your family with us - I really appreciated you giving us the English translations of what everyone was saying. The Q&A session was awesome - maybe you can do some questions at least one a month ...I think a lot of people would like that!! ...also I just ordered a beautiful traditional wooden bento box I'm going to start using. 🍜 🍤🍣🥢 ...so excited! Lastly, I just posted the Dragon Fruit keffir water recipe you asked me for in the Comments section of your last fermentation video. It's in the message chain where I originally mentioned it. Enjoy! ...and thanks again for another great video!!
I would definitely love a video on a subject! I'm interested in the health aspects and various cooking applications of seaweeds. It's not something I'm familiar with
The quiet house after the husband and kids leave is so relatable! 😂 Thank you for another great video I am trying little by little to cook more Japanese food for health and for fun.
I love your q and a! I always learn so much. Do you have any recipes for making healthy desserts with amazake? I’ve been using min all week and I love it
The breakfast looks delicious! I think I would eat breakfast if I could have something like that every morning. I love your channel & you have a beautiful family! Much love from Southern California! 🥰
School time can be a really busy time. You and your family seem to handle it well. Thanks for sharing Miwa. I may need to try some of those beginner chopsticks. I have a hard time with real chopsticks!
Hi Miwa-san…oh I remember those days of getting kids ready for school. I do love that you make such good healthy bento for them to take to school. Here kids often take simple quick lunches to school like sandwiches and fruit. My granddaughter just turned 1 so eventually I will buy her training chopsticks. There is a Daiso here and also a T & T market that sells Asian foods and appliances and kitchen products. I need to start making myself more nutritious breakfasts/lunches for myself like you do. Often I will just have a bowl of cereal so you are wonderful influence and lead by example. 😊🇨🇦

Hi Miwa, Could you please make a video about actually cooking rice? I have this nice rice cooker with all these different settings I don’t know how to best use. And also some advice on how much water to add if you soak the rice overnight. It would be super helpful.
Hello from the UK. Love your videos this on in particular I can relate to. Your breakfast and bento look amazing it reminds how badly we feed our children in the UK. I try to give my kids eggs on toast for breakfast and remind them that Frosties are not good for you! 😆 Keep up the videos 🙂
Lol, I totally understand your situation. I recall my mother being on the same spot as you, and me being the brat as I was. This was a looong time ago (almost 2 and a half decades ago). Right now I'm living on my own and I keep myself encouraged every single day to prepare my lunch box (which was surprisingly easy and I'm actually always excited for the next day because I had everything planned in advance). I always make my breakfast easy (coffee, bread or oats, leftover meals from past days, or some ready made small, very easy to prep food stuff). Dinner is a little inconsistent since I either eat leftovers or just forget it since I'm doing intermittent fasting (most of the times I'm tired already so it makes sense), thus I'm making sure my lunch is very filling.
I can’t wait to try that dressing! I love your recipes and videos! I have a 2 year old and I have made him a couple of your miso soups so far and your kids bento lunches. He loves eggs so I am hoping he will try this! :)
Great to hear your son is enjoying miso soup!! ^^ As you watched in the video, my 3 years old son told me it's too spicy and garlicy....haha Please feel free to reduce the amount of ginger and garlic for your loved one!
I discovered your channel like 20 minutes ago and stopped another video of yours, just to watch this video haha and I'm so happy that I found you. I absolutely love your recipes 😍 When are your cookbooks coming out?
Thank you very much for finding my channel Ariana!! So nice to talk to you! The cookbook will come up somewhere around October to November?? we are half way done now! ^^ Thank you for asking^^
It is always such a hassle to get them ready on time for school hahaha I never have to wake up my daughter ( I have a problem keeping her in her bed since she wakes up around 6am) but she never wants to get ready for school. She loves eggs, both in the morning as well as in her bento. Not she's if she would like the dressing; she loves apple but hates any kind of sauces. I bought a similar training chopsticks at daiso (the frog one), now I'm trying to get her to use the next step of training chopstickt I found at the pokemon store but that is still so difficult, so she often still eat with the frog ones and that goes really well, but she managed to eat some makizushi the other day with her pikachu ones.
