My husband always wonders why I choose to watch TH-cam over television shows. It’s because of channels like yours. It’s way better than any tv show I could watch right now. I really enjoy watching your content. And this is coming from someone who is a professional video editor. As always, fantastic video!
It's cool you hang out with the flight attendants! I worked for 2 airlines. One major and one regional. The mainline crews barely acknowledged us gate & rampers. The regional crews hung out with us, had cookouts & went to dinner with us. Both airlines were great different but experiences. Friendly crews are the best.
😹😂🤣🤣🤣🤣you had me laughing so hard on that tightrope. I haven't laughed so hard in awhile but it was very endearing. It demonstrates why you are successful in your life, a great pilot, husband, father, neighbor and the list goes on!!! You never give up!!👏👏👏😹😂🤣
I smiled , I laughed Paul you made a great effort! Thanks for sharing! I really like to get my passport stamped my favorite stamps are Nepal and Sri Lanka
Favorite stamps are Nepal and Thailand! Lived in Nepal for ~12 years and we needed to get our visa renewed every year and stamped every time we left the country.
Re: stamps, I don't know if you're aware but the US gives foreign crews a yellow A6-size booklet that's stapled in on the page opposite our visas. It gets written in every time we go through passport control.
Excellent effort, taking CRM to a new level! I seem to remember finding quite a few Gen. Decs in my nav bag that I had forgotten to submit 😕.Really enjoy your channel. I retired in 2019 after 40 years of flying the globe. Its so great to see someone really enjoying the best job in the world ☺️.
Went to Lima in November 2021, and they wouldn’t stamp passports due to Covid, but I was able to get a Machu Picchu stamp while waiting in line to enter MP!
Paul, many thanks for all your videos; as an ex-Gulfstream driver, my passport is completely full (mainly Asia and Europe). I’m currently at a major 121 carrier. However, I am hoping to make the jump to UAL someday!
Just found your channel yesterday and loving it! In November I'm flying to Iceland, then to Norway to start my new life. Haven't flown since 2005. Looking forward to seeing the tech improvements and such with the whole experience!
my favoriate stamp/sticker is from Japan. They print out white sticker with info on it, and stick on your passport!!!! it's like kids collecting sticker from teacher~ :) :) :)
Hey Paul. I enjoy your content very much and although I have been flying for quite some time I still marvel at the lives of pilots and aircraft. In my career I have filled up 2 "maxi" passports and my 3rd one is almost done now. We travel on Gen Decs as well but I have been to countries where every entry and exit a stamp was required hence the passports pages fill up long before the passport expiry date arrives. I have seen many wonderful (and terrible ) places but to answer your question the best stamp in my passport is the one when I enter my home country to go home to my family after a 2 month rotation. I look forward to watching your next video.
Favorite stamp is easy. Ushuaia, Argentina. We traveled to Argentina at the end of 2019 for an anniversary trip, after some time in Buenos Aires and Bariloche, we went down to Ushuaia which is "The End of the World". You can get a special stamp in your passport from the tourism office.
Hi Paul, I just found your channel last night and I have to say, I am hooked. Very informative and well edited! I had always wanted to be a pilot, but for one reason or another, it never worked out. I now get to live my dreams through my daughter's boyfriend. He just soloed a short while back and is trying to end up where you are. The day that he soloed, a rep from United Academy was there and was very impressed with how he handled everything. I hope that he makes it to the big time. Anyway, my favorite passport stamp has always been from Bonaire. It is a cool stamp and I love the island! I doubt that you would ever fly into PHL with EWR so close by, but if you ever do get to the area, I would love to sit down and have a beer with you. Have a safe flight.
Hello, I really enjoy your channel. I watched your trip to Spain, it’s beautiful, it’s one place I’d love to go. My favorite Passport stamp is Fiji, have visited twice.
When I got my passport a few years ago that was my fear of how quick it would be full thinking I should have ordered the extra pages for ten years. Then I went through to find that many times I didn't get stamped thinking am I ok without that stamp. It has never been a problem. It was interesting to hear this from you.
Great stuff! Always wondered what crew got up to. My favourite stamp was NZ, unfortunately that passport expired so alas I don't have it anymore. How you find time to edit these videos amazes me, great content btw. Cheers
Hi there Capt Paul. Just subscribed to your channel last night. It was so random how it popped to the recommended videos. Well I hope it’s not by coincidence, my life story is that I’ve always fancied being a pilot at a young age, but took another route in high sch and college to earn a Bachelors degree in Commerce. After graduation worked at a few corporate jobs but didn’t find it fulfilling, so I tried taking up a job in a science field as a junior associate with no such academic experience. Found it more interesting and loved the traveling part of the job. Just a few years ago I applied to work in Japan, and I’ve been here since covid, but back with a career in the Commerce field. After watching a couple of your videos, along with my plans to return to my home country, I think I’ll try and get to flying school and give it a go. I’ve always loved flying and exploring new places. Thanks for reigniting dream I had as a child. I’ll be forever a subscriber for as long as you’re on TH-cam. Love your editing and the passion for serving your purpose to urge people to travel the world and see the beauty of it. Love from Japan, by a native from a tiny island in the South Pacific.. 👨✈️ 🙇
Whenever I watch the B roll shots of you waking I always laugh just imagining someone watching you set up the camera multiple times far away, walk by, and then go back and get the camera 😂
My stamp at Padang Besar Station traveling by train from Thailand to Malaysia, and actually with my luggage in hand crossing the border. That's a rare thing these days, usually it's at the airports!
My fave is off course NEW YORK! The most amazing place on earth. I come from Norway so all of the US is fascinating, but my first trip alone to NY in 07 was amazing!
Great video but then again all of your videos are great! Favorite passport stamp has to be Vietnam. I just didn't expect to love it as much as I did. Beautiful country and people.
My favo(u)rite passport stamp was on January 1, 2023. On December 31, 2022, I took a flight from Charlotte, NC to London Heathrow on American Airlines (AA732). After we landed I headed to immigration. I collect passport stamps, so I wanted to go to the line with immigration officers, but once the Heathrow personnel (not UK immigration personnel) saw my US passport, I was ushered to the automatic gate, so I had no option but to go to the automatic gate. Once I passed through the automatic gate, there was a desk next to it with a female immigration officer sitting behind it. This desk was designed for passengers who needed to see an immigration officer because the automatic gates didn't let them pass through for some reasons. I went up to that desk and ask the lady sitting there for a stamp. At first, she said no because "we don't stamp American passports anymore." I said "oh, thank you" and was about to leave before she called me back, gave me a stamp, wrote "on request" next to the stamp, and said that she would "feel bad if she denied my request." That was a really cool moment, all thanks to the nice immigration lady behind the desk!
Thanks Paul agree London is a great city has its problems but that's life but being a brit we are never perfect anyway loved the Vido and glad you are flying again
My favorite stamp is the hand-written visa arrival day extension made by the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iran made while we were having tea together at their Embassy in Tehran, Iran. Originally, the clerk in the front office just put white-out over the stamped entry date and I pondered how well that would work at the seaport in Baku. I decided to ask for some sort of new stamp or explanation for the white-out which is how I ended up having tea with the Ambassador.
Thanks for this channel. I really enjoy watching your experiences around the world. I’ve always had a passion for being a pilot and you offer a nice perspective on that lifestyle. Jeff from Iowa

😹😂🤣🤣🤣🤣you had me laughing so hard on that tightrope. I haven't laughed so hard in awhile but it was very endearing. It demonstrates why you are successful in your life, a great pilot, husband, father, neighbor and the list goes on!!! You never give up!!👏👏👏😹😂🤣
My favorite stamp is at the Vienna airport. Its me and my wife’s first vacation after getting married and it was also our first plane ride together.
I smiled , I laughed Paul you made a great effort! Thanks for sharing! I really like to get my passport stamped my favorite stamps are Nepal and Sri Lanka
