You need a medal as big as a frying pan pulling that through London
Thanks for watching Eddie.
if it broke down in london. The only way youre going to get it out is through london. Aint no RAF recovery service sending out a chinook to lift this thing.
When is this game released
Nothing better than seeing a quality workman doing a professional job, really enjoyed your video
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching.
Hydraulics really are amazing. The amount of force required to lift that bus with a bar sticking out 25 feet off the back of a wrecker...
Hi Glen thanks for watching , Boniface under lift has 33 tonne capacity plenty of power as you not lifting all of vehicle.
I love seeing the interior driving, It just makes It more realistic! Glad To See You Helping Companies Out!
Thanks for watching.
Good job boyy...
Real life is already as realistic as things can get but ok
Never ceases to amaze me, how many people will cut a driver up with that kind of load on. First time watching & subscribed 👍
Thanks very much for watching and subscribing John.
Same here, first time watching your videos and I've subscribed
Love the interior view aswell
+1. I always hang back for lorries etc. used to tow big stuff myself not on this scale though but always being squeezed by idiots
A whole hour long? what a great way to start a saturday evening! Thanks steve.
Thanks very much for watching , your welcome.
You have the patience of a saint Steve, I would have been in use of the bleep machine well and truly. Nice driving mate.
Thanks very much for watching Paul . Cheers.
Threading that through London is not easy but you made it look easy. Great job!!
Thanks for watching Paul, Cheers,
I love the dedicated storage to put the half shaft in. You can tell this towing rig has been designed by those with years of experience. Great content
Thanks for watching .
Saturday morning and this better than anything on the telly. Fascinating as ever, thanks Steve
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching Steve.
Recovery and sightseeing all in one, thanks Steve!
Thanks for watching.
Excellent driving and patience. Wouldn’t like to drive a car throw London, never mind and truck towing a bus!! Great work
Hi Gary thanks very much for watching.
New subscriber to your channel. I am a retired disabled garbageman living in Northern California. Love your videos have a lot to catch up on. Thank you for your hard work. Awesome channel.💯🙏🇺🇸🦺
Hi Thomas thanks for watching and welcome to the channel.
Love these videos. Coming from the US its like a portal to another world, what seems boring to you sitting a stop light is fascinating to me seeing unfamiliar shops and blokes walking shirtless when its 14 degrees. Thank you for all the videos
edit: 20mph limit throughout London is insane, i think it would drive me mad
Thanks very much for watching them , i am glad you like them.
20 mph is really annoying, especially on main roads. Most people still do between 25 and 30 mph though.
@@DaChaGee It's really annoying. I'm American/English, I had a car for the longest time, but got rid of it with the ULEZ expansion. I cannot deal going 50 mph or lower on the motorway. It's like nails on a chalkboard for my half-American brain. Around my home in the US I don't have to worry about speed limits. I can go as fast as I please in some areas. Speed limit is 65-70 and traffic flows at over 90. In the middle of nowhere in the desert I set my cruise on max at 110. The one time I did get a ticket for 98 in a 65 and it was a $500 fine with no points or driving ban.
Always nice to get around with you on a sightseeing tour, the towing is just a plus!
😂👍👍👍
Thanks for watching , Cheers.
Really nice to see more of the actual driving/towing part. 👍
Thanks for watching , Cheers.
Thanks! Appreciate all that you do.
Hi Mathew your very welcome , thanks for supporting the channel.
Brilliant watch, i skipped bits, i hate F&*king traffic haha! You did great steve, the professionalism from you and always looking, watching and observant. First time here but will be back. Be safe out there mate!
Thanks very much for watching much appreciated.
Hearing you say Plaxton made me instantly think of the Panorama bodied Bedfords.
Nice to see you posting again. 🤘🤘
Thanks for watching Martin.
This is the new panorama. A doub!e deck coach. But I agree you couldn't best the old bedfords and Ford panoramas.
Another great video Steve and talk about patience when negotiating other road users; how the traffic density (and lack of other's driving skills !) have changed since I drove there back in the 60s. Victoria coach station takes me back to more recent times when I used it twice a week regularly in my travels between London and Cornwall.
Hi David thanks for watching and sharing that.
well done. very impressed!
Thank you very much! Cheers.
Welcome back Steve, nice to see you again. Love what you do.
Thanks for watching Paul , much appreciated.
Thanks for the trip through London, I really enjoyed it!👍🏻👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it.
Fascinating drive through the city Steve. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it Alec and thanks for watching.
Seen your videos a few times in my recommended and this is the first time I’ve clicked, but if I’m honest I’ve been meaning to for ages. Really interesting video. Really good to see how much you care about safety, too.

Thanks for watching , your very welcome.
Its always nice to see you Steve and your very enjoyable to watch thank you as always for the video stay safe on those London roads .
Thanks glad you enjoyed it.
Crasy how chaotic this traffic is compared to my little german town!!
Can't imagine doing this here.😅
Thanks for the Video Steve
Hi Paul thanks for watching.
Well that was well worth the wait Steve. Thanks for the guided tour through those famous (or is it in-famous) streets. Last time I drove through there it was manic. That drive helps me understand how a simple cyclist can cause chaos for the big traffic. Looking forward to the next trip.
Hi John thanks very much for watching .
53:22 Amazing Old School Porsche 911 Targa there! an absolute gem!
Well done Steve thanks for the ride
Thanks Gary , your very welcome.
Fantastic professional job, well done 👍
Thank you very much! Cheers.
Good to have you back!
Thanks for watching James , Cheers.
My wife and I travelled to London from the States back in November, and I'm pretty sure we saw you on the motorway while we were there. I had a good time with this video seeing several of the places we visited on that trip. Our hotel was on Bayswater Rd across from Hyde Park which you drove right by.
Thanks for watching , nice place to visit London , just not to drive in.
I like seeing pov of others people job that most of us rarely see daily.. just curious about how they did their job.. Awesome video btw!! Keep it up!!❤❤
Thanks very much for watching , much appreciated.
Absolutely informative, worked for Reading Buses and see your guy regularly, top man 👍🍺
Thanks very much for watching Chris , much appreciated.
Hi Steve, good to hear from you again. Lovely work as always. It felt like i was in the cab with you. Hope to hear from you again with another video soon.
Glad you enjoyed it John , thanks for watching , hope to find something soon.
Excellent work as always Steve - you have absolute balls of steel driving on those roads in such a large vehicle. It amazes me how other drivers seem hell bent on making the task even harder for you though 🤦♂️
Also enjoyed the car on diplo plates at 30:38
Hi Tom thanks very much for watching , Cheers.
Amazing work 👏👏
Thanks for watching Jack , Cheers.
Nice to see you are busy Steve.. 19th job this week!!! Good old central London is a challenge at the best of times , but with that length of vehicle you need a medal mate😂
Thanks for watching Gary , did manage to do 20 jobs that week mate , busy.
Just finished watching the video and it frustrates me how other drivers just can't read the situation In Front of them..
Brilliant footage all the way thanks will be subscribing 👍
Thanks for watching and subscribing.
Great stuff, liking the commentary and overall skillful execution of the job at hand
Much appreciated!
Great video Steve as usual interesting vocal tour of London a lot different to the roads down here in South Cornwall ( Falmouth ) . Have been up there a few times on courses at Ford in Dagenham and on recovery jobs with local garage (nightmare ) Stay safe and healthy .
Hi David thanks for watching , love Cornwall , shame dont get many jobs going back that way.
Great to see you back again Steve, As I said earlier, you have been missed. Great video, with all relevant information. Take care Steve, (P.S. think I may have spotted you in a bus station in Bucks just before Xmas !!!),,

Some finest content! Great sense of humour and all.
Thanks very much for watching,
You were lucky by Lancaster Gate; there were roadworks there for a few days last week with a seriously tight chicane. Great video as always!
Thanks for watching , glad you liked it.
Another great video you need a medal driving in that traffic good job done keep up the good work 👍👍
Thanks for watching , Cheers.
Hi Steve, watched half of your video but will watch the rest soon. Tired after major surgery today for a hip replacement. Long story but wasn't a planned one! Had an accident on Friday on an ice rink of all things. Keen to get back on my feet soon. Great job so far, thanks for sharing.
Hi James , sorry to hear about your accident , best wishes to you on a speedy recovery.
@@HeavyRecoverywithSteve Thank you Steve.
Watched the second half now Steve. Great driving as per usual. Pity about the weather at the depot for you.
Incredible Driving

glad to see a new video steve keep up the good work. I did notice the stone chip in your windscreen tho lol.
Thanks for watching Paul , stone chip bloody annoying right in middle of screen.
Good to see you back again Steve you have the patience of a saint driving in London if it was me I'd be effin and jeffin all the way - and probably sending my blood pressure up. 🙂

@HeavyRecoverywithSteve Im Keeping well mate, hope your good :)
nice bit of saturday evening entertainment !! Well done !!
Thanks for watching Keith , Cheers.
in Rome, italy, bus lane could be used for emergency vehicle especially for big size towing one, like your. Much better give this chance into traffic jam like this and even worst. Nerves of steel man, great attitude and driving skill, congrats!
Thanks very much for watching , much appreciated.
Hi Steve, interesting to see the area around Victoria that I was extremely familiar with, some twenty years ago. I worked on the design of the red routes and bus lanes; I was the only member of the team with an HGV licence.
Thanks for watching and sharing that.
Good morning Steve Great video to start my morning 👍👍
Thanks for watching , glad you liked it , Cheers.
Exceptional.
Thanks for watching Peter , much appreciated.

A very good Saturday morning to you sir from Wellington Somerset
Afternoon Dave in lovely Somerset.
Hi Steve how's your left knee Mate ? Thank you for another excellent video sir 😊. Take care mate looking forward to the next one. All the best Gary.
Hi Gary thanks for watching , knee better mate when dont have to go into London lol.
Great driving Steve, especially through London, you need to have eyes in the back of your head.
Thanks for watching Brian , so certainly do mate.
Belisimo vídeo boa operação parabéns . serrinha Bahia Brasil
Your patience is remarkable! I’d have snapped about 1 minute in 😂
Thanks very much for watching.
A very interesting 60mins watching this. The head cam view in the cab was a little uncomfortable at first, it was fine after I started checking your mirror view each head turn, suddenly 60mins and my glass of scotch were gone. Excellent work, you make it look easy.
Thanks for watching Paul , Cheers.
Hi Steve. Been offline for past month or so getting my desktop fixed. Coming from Manchester, I do find London drivers very aggressive, compared to up here. I even see it when visiting my step-daughter's who lives in Staines. It's like a Grand Prix race track every day. Having stopped at the lights that include lights for cyclists, I wouldn't bank on cyclists stopping whether it's green or red
Thanks for watching.
Awesome video! London roads are a little different to what im used to here in New Zealand, they're not quite as spacious as ours. Over here we regularly use trucks from all around the world. Quite a few of our heavy duty wreckers are American long-nose trucks, mainly Kenworths and Macks. Im sure trying to drive one of those in London would be a nightmare.
Thanks for watching from New Zealand welcome , our company has a Kenworth truck but never goes into London , my Daf best combination for city work.
Wow thanks to the good old algorithm for finding me this video and your channel
Hi Alexander , thanks for watching and welcome.
Nice video, would loved to have seen some drone footage of you towing the bus and give us a 3rd person truck simulator footage lol
Thanks very much for watching.
Hi Steve, love your content. I'm curious to hear more about the Enviro 400s with the ZF axles. I've been in heavy recovery for 6 months or so now and have never heard about this, only know to remove opposite shaft to diff lock if present. Why the need to remove both shafts in the case of the ZF?
Take care, great to see all the safety precautions you take. I've learned a good handful of useful tips from your videos.
Thanks for watching mate , apparently pulling one shaft does not fully disconnect the drive to gearbox . We work for various bus companies and part of the contract is two remove both half shafts , i take it they must of had warranty issues. Pleased to hear you find videos helpful stay safe.
Yup your the man who can sir Steve 🎉
Thanks very much for watching.
Man, you certainly earn your money. Driving through London with a bus in tow. I would rather walk a mile on hot coals. Keep 'em coming Steve.
Hi Gary thanks for watching , will do mate.
I can never understand people trying to cut up on the inside. When I They can see clearly that you are driving a breakdown vehicle towing another vehicle.Think they all must be Born a bit stupid.😮 great video thanks for showing, have a safe week.😊
Thanks very much for watching Christopher , Cheers.
Sreve great vid as usual reminded me of back in the day when I use to drive the Greenline coach between Oxford and London
Those trees on Bayswater /Holland Park were a nightmare then I also noticed most of it is now single lane making way for bus and cycle lanes .
One question though Steve why did you not use the Westway to get out of London?
Thanks for watching Tony , was heading out of London to get on A40.
Bigger busses in the UK than in the USA!
You need a swamper with you - for safety. No apprentice drivers to help?
The head mount camera shows US the constant vigilance of you driving in City streets with that load! Amazing!
Thanks for watching Michael.
Steve you have the patience of a saint putting up with the drivers and cyclists and people who seem to have no awareness of the weight and length of your vehicle I salute you sir. Thanks for another great video.
Hi Stuart thanks for watching , your very welcome.
