      Anthony Witham You can't safely compare Pantone(R) swathes to a video file. Best you can do is to turn off local color correction, screenshot the video and read out the decoded RGB value (the YUV value in the file is usually buried in DRM hell). Once you have the numeric value, there are tables mapping Pantone ink colors to sRGB screen colors.
      The only time direct screen to swath compares are good is when calibrating a monitor + graphics card combo for best color reproduction on a graphics workstation in a specific ambient light environment.

    • @bigclivedotcom
      @bigclivedotcom  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can theoretically use two supplies in series if their outputs are not referenced to ground. But if one fails it will be run in reverse by the other and it may damage the main electrolytic capacitor. You can buy high current 24V supplies online.

    • @bigclivedotcom

      A proper well-rated supply is going to be quite expensive just because of the materials involved. Keep in mind that many cheap eBay supplies are not rated as described and often lack proper separation between the mains side and low voltage side. It all depends on your application.

    As a kid I did it once with one of those pencil sharpeners with a crank.
    Stuck my finger in it and turned.
    Never did that again.

    I'm not mature enough to have an automatic pencil sharpener. In one day one of those will happen:
    1 - I'll break the thing trying to sharpen things that are not sharpenable
    2 - I'll end all the pencils in a 50km radius to a nub

    Push the button, THEN stick your finger in. Thanks, I was confused, my fingers and jumbo crayons will be fine-ly pointed now.... You mean that a suitable X-Ray tool was not near? I keep several in the garden for just such an occasion.

    Why doesnt PoundLand just send you all their electric products to you for testing...then they could put "Big Clive Approved" on all their packages...you would get a regular income from them, they would sell a helluva lot more.

      First thing to check is that the batteries are making a proper connection. Sometimes the positive end pip doesn't touch the metal.

    Automatic pencil sharpeners are pencil killers. As are standard pencil sharpeners. Use a knife, your pencils will thank you.
