Q: Do you plan before, during, or after the week?
A: It varies from video to video, but typically I plan 2-3 times during the week and stitch the clips together. I rarely plan the entire week in advance or the entire week retroactively.
Q: Do you use all of these planners?
A: Yes and no. Every week, there is something in my life that takes priority over the others whether it be school, work, or something personal. Depending on the week, I select a few planners that will help me achieve my tasks! So not every planner is used every week.
Q: How do you get so much done in a day?
A: If you watch any of my journaling vlogs, you’ll realize that I have very poor sleeping habits and so naturally I’m able to fit more things into the day. It’s something I’m trying to fix but admittedly this is the only reason. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต

To protect your tabs on your hobonichi weeks, you should turn your journal around the other way in the pouch, that way the tabs won't face the zipper

Helen, turn your personal planner with the tabs inside so when you zip it close they won’t get wonky. Take care of yourself & nail day should be a self care day. Go get a facial & message too! You’re doing a great job! Love your creativity 🥰

Hi Helen! Regarding the Hobonichi Weeks tabs getting stuck in the cover zipper, you could put the Weeks front side down inside the zippered cover. That way the tabs would be on the inside away from the zipper. Hopefully I explained that well enough. I love your videos and thanks so much for all you do. Very excited for the anniversary sale. 😃

Your such a typical Canadian apologizing for everything. It’s all good. 😊 I know you enjoy your work but it really feels like all you do is work. Maybe all these “resets”, were your body’s way of telling you to slow down a bit. Maybe start off by scheduling in more me time into your planner. And absolutely put it in your work planner because slowing down and taking care of yourself is work too. Big hugs, hope you feel better soon. ❤

The way to avoid ripping your monthly tabs off of your weekly planner is to put it in the case 180° rotated so that the tabs do not come in contact with the zipper
Your hand writing is so good and on top of that it looks well with the drawings
There’s something just so appealing about your hand writing, layout, and art - it’s like ASMR for the eyes lol

Me too girl! In the middle of February, I was really going through it and was thinking so much that I felt unmotivated to touch my planner for over a month. But I was able to get myself together a little and I’m getting back into my planner which I am really happy about ❤️
This is my second year using the Cousin and I can't imagine my life without it. I am going back to school full time, work full time, have a family, so it is such a useful planner. I can honestly say that you are the source of my inspo for the Cousin. I always look forward to your videos -- as always thanks for sharing!

I totally paused the video to copy your congee recipe. I painted my nails yesterday and they already look like I etched on them for some reason. I love book clubs, I am in 2 from my local library. I haven't read any other comments since you've had your stomach issues but I wanted to vaguely mention that I had stomach pains in the past when my protein intake was too high. I eat very similar to you and it's wonderful that you eat so clean, just thought maybe it wouldn't hurt to mention it. Thank you for another wonderful video

Simple way to save your tabs…just put your planner in the other way…put the tabs on the inside or spine of the cover and the spine of your planner towards the zipper!!!

Ooo thank you Amy! I don't really use the top part apart from decorating, so this is a good challenge for me!
I think the issue you might have been having with the first "chaotic" spread was that there was no visual anchor on the page - the second "chaotic" page your eyes can flow across the images at the top and then down to the small pops of color throughout the page.

I love all your videos, even though I don’t always comment. But the same thing is happened with my Hobo Weeks tab in my zippered pouch. The tabs are a good distance away from zipper but maybe you’re right and they’re still snagging. I have been repairing the tabs with tab. 💜💗

Someone may have mentioned this but I was thinking about your tabs tearing/getting caught and thought you could place the planner in the zipper cover with the tabs facing towards the center of the zipper cover so the spine of your planner is facing the zipper.

What fountain pen ink do you find works well for Hobonichi Weeks? I’m struggling to find one that doesn’t ‘bead’ on the paper. Is that the right word? I just purchased a Sailor ink and it sits on the surface and sort of clumps together.
What if you face the weeks tabs towards the inside of the cover?
Random, but your voice is so relaxing, you could easily make your videos ASMR videos. Have you ever considered doing ASMR?
Love these spreads but please please please do not support Amazon by buying snacks you can easily find at the grocery store Helen :((( Also, for the zipper closure on the weeks it helps to keep a pen in there!
Hello!! I don't typically buy snacks on Amazon: it was a gift for my sister who lives far away from me, and it was the best option as she is irregularly home for me to schedule grocery deliveries. I try to avoid shopping on Amazon as much as possible!

I put the tabs on the opposite side of the zipper 😅 so they don’t get caught @thecoffeemonsterzco 4:30
