    I stuff my home with fairylights to the brim during autumn and winter and always switch them all on, as well as a lot of candles. Also I use a fake log fire which makes the room soo cozy. So I love it, when it’s dark outside or raining and storming and I am sitting inside, journaling or painting with all my lights and decoration 😂. Also I love to go for a walk😢, even when it’s raining or freezing, it helps a lot. I love your spreads very much! 😍

      Fake log fire you mean on your computer? Hahaha love that
      Aaa wanna get lights
      Soon! Thank you ☺️

      @@AbbeySy that’s also a very good option to get a fake log fire, and a very cheap one. Go for it, it really makes a difference! 💕🥰

    Thanks for your journal review. It was helpful. For seasonal depression it helps most people to wear & look at bright colors. Also you may want to invest in a True OTT lamp if you don’t already have one. They mimic sunlight & are also great for artists. ❤

      Thanks for sharing :) Yes I'm using more lights these days and they're helpful! :)

    I love your Hobonichi Weeks spreads! During the dark winter months, I make an effort to be outside midday and at night, I use warm lights. Finding ways to stay active will help.

    Loved the video! Really warm and cozy vibes. For seasonal depression, get some warm and cozy socks, make your favourite teas anytime during the day. Get lots f houseplants, they really cheer up the space. Get a pet cat, if you like. Pets are great companions to snuggle with on the couch. Do all things that make you feel warm, cozy and cheery indoors.

    • @AbbeySy
      @AbbeySy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you Sanjukta! I looove teas, I make one every night (coffee in the morning) :) I do have houseplants too, maybe pets down the line because I just moved. Thanks for all the fun tips!

    Really love your video. I'm actually using my very first Traveler's notebook as a bit of a journal and I am using a bullet journal as well to keep track of things (started it in september and it's going well). As for a media journal, I have three (one for anime, another for movies/shows, and one I'm gonna use for samples that I get on Amazon to decide weather or not if I want it on my TBR or not) and also gonna close out my reading journal once I'm done with it this year and move to a new one to try something new.

    Fantastic! This is an amazing year of beautiful journaling and lovely planners I can’t wait for your next year plan. For 2023 I will use my a6 Gillio
    For an every day carry, an a5 Filofax for planning, and a beautiful journal and your lovely travel journal for all my trips!

    Your reviews have been helping me a lot to ponder on what kind of planners and journals could and might not work for me. I could relate that some could be too “chorey” and that puts me off too 😅 Now I’m more excited for my 2023 lineup to see how they’ll work for me.

    • @AbbeySy

    I decided to give a try the Hobonichi Techo A6 for my daily To Do’s, important dates and small paragraphs or ephemera. A Traveler Journal for Trips and memories, also a small notebook for book record. I have a bullet journal but for me it’s pretty hard to fill it so I will leave it for special moments

    • @AbbeySy
      @AbbeySy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That sounds like a great and doable system!

    count me in to the people that love the weeks format you did! mine is a written recap of the week (as in archival/things I did) with highlights of the week in the memo side (of the TN). the moment I got to do the 1 day 1 page (c/o someone from reddit lent their A6 Hobo), it became more work (in effect, less appealing to work with) to do (plus life happened for me), so I ended up not doing it real-time and update it once a week instead (one thing I learned from this club is it's okay to backlog journals, as long as you have a reference of the content from real time)
    the avec books are nifty! u can try things out before you commit. funny how the TN is the visual version of this short form weekly recap and the weeks is the narrative version haha. it's less limiting because the week is in a whole spread (vs. week in a page) also interesting how some days you don't base the highlights within the date (from 24:24) and you just sometimes summarize the week in a looser form.
    always a delight to watch long-form journal review content, especially from you! 🤘

      Hahaha I'm obsessed with updating, I usually do my rounds at night and especially when I'm free on weekends
      I mean it's also my job so I guess it's a requirement that I do it frequently haha
