I live near pisgah national forest, between Linville Gorge and Wilson creek, one of the best dual sport and adv areas. Its bad here. People don't understand until theyre boots on the ground. Lots of work done, and lots left to do. Thanks for using your platform to help my neighbors and friends
@@PisgahGravelProjectThanks for the kind words. Anything we can do to help is important. I just hope my small channel helps in some way. Thanks again Friend.

Doc! So good to see you and hear your voice! Good to see you too, Dane! Thank you for sharing this...we can all do a little bit more to help for sure! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
So awesome for you to do this!! I’m seeing it most every day. You’re right, there’s a lot of folks still in tough shape, and we can’t forget about them!!!
Hey Patrick! My humble pleasure to try and help any way possible. You know more than most of how devastated thing are the continued suffering. Thanks Man.
Great to see you DOC, important message for sure, thank you for getting the word out for those in need. I saw hundreds of big trees along interstate 95/20 that were uprooted by Helene, never experienced that before. Your garage looks thinner 🤣
Hey Dave! I felt I had to put this video out. Hope it helps in some way. I was wondering what you might have seen on your trip home. Yes the garage has lost about 500 lbs. recently, but it looked better before 🤣
Samaritans purse is one of the best charities to support. They will be helping until everyone is back to normal. Baptist men is also one of the groups that stay active until the end. It’s best to contact the group you want to help and ask them what they need before sending any thing. Thank you for using your channel to support the efforts to rebuild the area Doc. We got hit pretty hard in my area, but not as bad as the higher areas did. My town and most people are back to mostly normal. Restored power and roads cleared and at least temporarily patched. Probably be at least a year before being repaired completely. One of the hardest hit area is Green River Cove. Destroyed the road and around 25 houses. I don’t know if the total number of people lost in the storm will ever be known but I am sure it will be higher than reported. The town of Chimney Rock was completely destroyed and the river bed is 3-4 times wider than before. It is hard to imagine the amount of damage that was caused by the hurricane. If you are a praying person that is the best thing to do in my opinion. GOD is the best thing to lean on. I’m amazed at the way the country has come together to support the area and help. USA is the best country on earth!!!
Hey Calvin! I am glad to help in any way possible. I totally agree that this situation is best addressed through actions we can take (especially prayer). I am so glad you were not as impacted by the storm as some of the others. There is a lot of nefarious stuff going on up there with regards to the Federal Government and the assets they could be bringing to greatly assist our fellow citizens. I will continue to pray and do what I can to help just as you are doing. So glad you are OK and it's great to see you reply. Cheers! DOC

Whole lot worse than the one's that tell us the goings on in the world want to tell. Thanks for sharing this and good to see ya up and at em buddy!! Beta is what I need for that Idaho single!!! Cheers man!
Hey Brother! I believe you live in an area that was affected by the storm and you know better than most how things are. I was hoping to help out in some way by raising exposure that there is still a lot to do to help those in need. As far as the Beta 300RR, I am betting it would love the Utah single track but even so, you seem to do quite nicely with the machines you currently have!! Cheers!
@doc650adventures we got pretty lucky. A metric ton of downed trees and power lines. All our trees luckily only took down power poles and lines and didn't hit anything super important. Power was out here around 8 days. Rode up to my buddy's place right across the sc/NC line and it looked apocalyptic with downed trees and flooding. Yep, if the Beta wasn't so tall, I'd really like to have the two stroke. I may still get one and lower it! My buddy has the 500rr and it's a beast!
I'm headed to erwin Tennessee this week to feed anyone who needs it on Thanksgiving thru the weekend until I run out. I'll be grilling and smoking and chicken soup and chili. Love yall! Your not alone!
