    Their other problem is that potential Tacoma buyers see what's happening after a couple years to Toyota's other new turbo engine. No one wants to risk being subject to an unresolved recall.

    First, it’s not a NEW engine. It started in 2022. Second, it only has the potential affect those built prior to October of 2023. 2024 is not part of the recall.

      Actually this is a car engine that debuted in a lexus in 2018. Engine failures in both American and Japanese plants. So it's a worldwide engine failure problem. There is a stop/sale on 24's. No fix for this failure. Need I say more.

      Not yet in the recall.....FIFY.
      They can't recall 2024 because if they do they cannot sell any.

    It is getting worse, no solution from Toyota.

    Other tuck brands always had more bells and whistles. Toyota reliability was its main selling point but because Toyota got greedy they killed their reliability and in turn their reputation. This is really hard for me to accept as a Toyota fanboy.

      Toyota sells a tenth of Trucks compared to the big 3. It would stand to reason why you would see less Toyota's at a shop.

    Tundra should be sold at PICK YOUR PARTS or iPULL-uPULL or any car salvage yard. If the engine is no good it makes the rest of the truck a piece ok junk!!! At a whooping $28,000 to $30,000 cost to replace a tundra engine. Let's run the numbers of the cost to place 102,000 engines. Thats a respectable prices of cost for at $28,000 to replace each engine is $2,856,000,000 to $3,060,000,000. Houston Toyota has a huge problem. Gone is the reliability and usher in unreliability. Oh shoot!! I'm having a total recall, wasn't general motors corp. the big dog before toyota dethrone them? Karma is a B_itch!!!!

    Wait a minute, I have the Titan and the interior is way better. No flimsy plastic, a reliable V8 , a smaller screen, and a 5 year 1000 mile warranty, bumper to bumper warranty . WTF is there to complain about? Oh, and it was 9 k dollars cheaper.........just sayin!

  • @davidkaufman9367
    @davidkaufman9367 วันที่ผ่านมา

    What I hate about Tundra is the interior which is cheap plastic all over. The door locks are even in thin cheap plastic and you can hear it click! The entire center console is cheap, i mean beyond cheap thin plastic. Further a massive design flaw exists where seat cracks by controls. Toyota claims this is abuse, meanwhile everyone i know has them broken . Mine broke 2x already in one year and I have never ever had one break ever before in any car or truck. The MPG too is a joke around town I get 12 mpg and this is the year 2024 and this is a 6 cylinder ! I mean seriously? Also it drives likea car does not feel like a truck in any way whatsoever!

    So, show me ANY vehicle manufacturer that hasn't had an issue with their product. And, you contradict yourself in your video. The issue is not with the design of the motor. It occurred in its manufacturing process....so there's no issue with the motor itself. Also, the only reason they recalled 100,000 was that they played it safe by including all the POSSIBLY effected motors. Out of that 100,000, it's only been determined that 1% is affected. Tighten up.

      On an average year Toyota sells 150k trucks. So 100k recall is a big deal.
