It's not an amazing pvp weapon or anything, but I actually really dig the Aquamarine dagger. It feels nice to use and I like the way it extends mid combos and mid rolling. Just a fun little weapon for a sorceror. I also really like the Demon's Scar even though it doesn't have a completely unique moveset. Just like not having to choose between a pyromancy flame or a weapon.
My personal favorite DLC weapon would be Gael's sword. The weapon art is so simple but awesome. It's so quick but does a lot of damage and can be hard to escape
My favorite thing to do when I'm going against someone with one of the ridiculous DLC weapons with the crazy weapon art combos is get back and chuck Chaos Bed Vestiges. Works more often than not, gets me a leg up in the match, and the guys rarely pull out the combos again.
Recently, I have been invading in the Farron swamp with an old monk cosplay build. Lemme tell ya, the mannikin claws with poisen resin has godlike stunlock
"When fighting somebody who knows how to use these" just equip knight slayers and use an ugs uppercut weapon art and pop the annoying block. Same goes for valorheart, if someone is using a counterattack playstyle then bring out a straightsword, empty off-hand and catch him off gaurd with a gaurd break weapon art.

The first time I encountered the twin greatswords, I was definitely surprised by the combos, only surviving thanks to a lot of HP. But I figured out the moveset almost immediately, parried the player when he came back with an R1, then finished him off by waiting for him to do the dual-wield combo again and swatted him out of the air during the leap animation. I was pretty proud of myself, to be quite honest.
Holy shit that last one, i somehow knew that the WA of that would have something to do with the top spot. That weapon is so great, and has a killer r2.

I laugh hard when people complain about not being able to parry a weapon, well you know what that means? It means get good at combat instead of relying on parries.
1100 damage? Those are rookie number. All you need is a +5 FUGS with lighting enchant and lighting clutch ring and you’ll be R1 swinging at 1500 and or 1850 for the R2.
