@@N8Bakka oh I haven't forgotten about it, it's just that DS2 had a large verity of weapons and the dual wielding options were alot better. I still used the demon scar usually in pairs.
@@Khaos_Kazuka Yea DS2 was full of experimentation. I think ds3 has less catalyst blades because they’re quite hard to balance. They’ve either been hot garbage or pretty good. I think a dual wielding catalyst would work quite well if you took the sellsword twinblades and replaced the heavy attack with the option to cast.

The top ten series always reminds me why i love these game(s). That Wilfred one reminded me of some training i had when i was a newish DS1 souls player, at the taurus area. This guy taught me some gameplay mechanics, and rewarded me with a +15 greatsword (my favourite weapon in DS1)

7:59 guy did this with me in DS2. I had a strength build using both versions of the Smelter Demon swords, and he invaded me. I messed around using a bow and we had some range combat. Then I went after him and he killed me pretty fast with a dex build, duel-whip combo. Messaged me calling me a coward, and eventually got him to let me invade him. Before this, I had platinumed DS1, 3, and Bloodborne on PS4, and had most of the DS2 achievements. Took him out using the Bone Fists. This impressed him and we talked about how different the combat is in this game compared to the others. He gave me a bunch of gear, tips on a better weapon set to use, we sparred for like an hour or so using Warmth when ever one of us got too low. During these, I did actually try a few fighting styles I've seen on your past videos just for fun. He ended up friending me and it's was super awesome in the end. Beyond the games, it's people like this that have kept me in the Souls community!
2:20 I'm pretty sure that npc's ai was telling him that table was bad news, lol but thankfully for the invader no one else was looking when the npc did it's little shield dance at them. Number 13 reminds me of that time on Namek when Goku was standing still and Jeice and Burter were charging at him and not landing any hits lol. Both of them are even red and blue.
It reminds me of when NPCs look at mimics. I guess they are programmed to _know_ it’s an enemy, but to not do anything until the frame they break cover. I got saved from a mimic once when Jester Thomas one-shotted a mimic before it could even grab me.
Lol Wilfred is like, the exact polar opposite of that cheater. Not interested in unfair advantages, learning from their mistakes, and never giving up until victory is achieved! Really an inspiration.
This is truly the ultimate list, we got prank kill, high level pvp, troll, wholesome invader, glitches, hacker, world records. It really is what defines the dark souls community.
I feel for #13. Being more of an average player myself, I don't expect to have big plays all that often, but rare moments happen where every piece falls into place, and the absurd becomes reality.
yup..the guy went full out on them. I am also an average player and invade often but am not particulary good, well still practicing, but few days ago on ng+ i got invaded at pontifs by two aldritches, a spellcaster and a dex guy, usually i never ever won two or more vs me fights...but i somehow "got into the zone" and managed to dispatch them...so i can imagine how that guy feels as well :D Since then i won several more two vs one fights ( i basically invade every evening ) so i guess the more you practice the more you "get into the zone" when you need to :D
Mate, I can't tell you how much I laughed when the host just slipped right off and died, hahaha! I wish I had left the 8 or so minutes of waiting outside the bonfire room for them in, just so y'all could see when I'd randomly just sat and slept in that spot, but PS4 memory issues messed me up aaaaaaa. Wilfred reminds me of a opponent in DS2 I could not defeat on the iron bridge. He was really skilled and the only one I was fighting for quite awhile. I was good at the game, but he was on another level. I learned of new techniques just by fighting him. I came close a couple times, but our sessions ended without me beating him. It was fun though. The dark souls series really has some of my favorite gaming moments.

The dark souls remastered clips remind of a time I invaded two gravelord servants that were over leveled dragons instakilling me with breath attacks, they had items on the ground, and it was 99+ of the gravelord eyes or whatever. I should've had it recorded to send to this

You can actually survive the fall from the dlc bridge by using the cat ring,you have to be on the bridge as it falls down for you not to die
