what? idk what im doing i tried to piece together the letters from both and messed around with ceaser code i think im far from what really should be done XD edit: i was over complicating it :D
The most reliable way to handle the Crystal Sage with low damage is to parry, riposte, and _not land any follow-up hits._ If you do this, the sage will only teleport once, at the start of phase 2. After dealing with his clones, repeating the parry strats will mean he never teleports again, and thus never summons any other clones.
@Ron_Jambo_ I very much disagree on that, bleed builds have been very good to me during my playthroughs and I'm a filthy dex user that likes quick weapon so it fits my playstyle. There are quite the numbers of bosses that are immune but the ones that aren't are a cakewalk with a bleed
@Ron_Jambo_ you are completely wrong. bleed is broken, especially in earlier ds3 patches. it does a % based health drain, so bosses that arent immune would have been pretty easy for this run. i didnt think of it at the time which is why i didnt use the uchi or bandits knife.
THE TWIN PRINCES FIGHT WAS SO HYPE I WAS SO EXCITED TO SEE THE FULL THING AFTER THE PROOF OF CONCEPT!!! ty for making these videos they help me kill time while grinding 🙏
I’m amazed by videos like these, I’ve just had my first playthrough of dark souls 3 with dlcs and I did it!! And I feel so good but how are you this good to beat the ng 7 omggg, you’re the best
im pretty sure i just forgot, dancer is when i stopped for the day and when i came back i had the footage of killing her without my death, so i just assumed first try
for ng8, i personally would've focused on bleed and poison haha, starting off with thief class. the normal damage along makes this challenge hard enough without a proper build, congrats on completing it 👏
Why?? I did it in 30 minutes. I don't know why but any of the bosses ( i haven fight a lot of the optional ones) were easy... Maybe my build? Full strength with dragon slayer great axe but wasn't that hard
journey 7 is max scaling. ng+6 is the correct term for it, but i used ng+7 because literally the entire internet is wrong about it. its a common misconception.
@@YourAverageSpelunker I'm sorry but that is not true. Check the fextralife wiki. Ng+6 as in journey 7 has a 1.35 ng+ modifier. Ng+7 as in journey 8 has a 1.4 ng+ modifier. I recently did my annual "adventure to ng+7" run and ended up seeing higher soul drops in ng+7 (as in journey 8) than in the previous run. Still, I love this game and I loved the video as well.
@@Kawaiilolrofl fextralife is consistently wrong. about more than lore too. theres a reason local mechanic legends like illusory wall didnt work on the fextralife wiki.
I had this happen to me, got invaded by a hacker and when he killed me it put me in ng+7 stats, I never had such fun with the early game. Starts to feel the same about halfway through but early is hard and fun.
You know, I love me a good challenge run, but I have to say: It bothers me that so many creators will call their challenges 'can you beat (insert game) under (insert requirements)'. Like, of course you can beat DS3 as a NG character in NG+7. It's just going to be a massive pain. By all rights, the video should simply be titled something to the effect of 'Beating DS3 NG+7 with a NG character.' It doesn't take away from the fact that you did something very difficult, and I'd still be inclined to watch it without the title having double question marks. Is it an algorithm thing? Does TH-cam not suggest videos like these if they aren't acting like they're posing a question that's genuinely up for debate? A good example of a person who makes challenge runs where the feasibly of the challenge is question is Gamechamp3000. Videos like 'Can you beat Splatoon without firing the Hero Shot' and its sequel are a great example, because not only does it show creative thinking to pull off (at one point for the first one she mentions using your nose to hit the dpad so you don't take your finger off the analog stick), but that particular challenge actually turns out to be not viable for the second game, and having to turn the question mid-video (and for all subsequent videos of this name for the Splatoon games) into 'how many shots does it take.'
@@Jace-uw6ml That's cool. The reason that's so long is that I'm not trying to be pointlessly rude to Spelunker; I'm aiming for constructive criticism, and for me, that means giving an explanation for why the title bothers me and examples where posing such a question makes sense.
I know it's a bit dumb but why don't you use dark hand in the early game as it does much more damage to other weapons at +0;also ngl crystal sage is the boss that becomes unexpectedly hard in NG+
Nice run girlboss, also, it makes sense your heavy use of pokemon osts knowing your neurodivergence. Either way, good stuff, I like your edits and your commentary and plays.

Mind you I had NO HIT gundyr, got the greataxe as my first weapon drop off an enemy and a helm from one of the lower knights on the stairs. All while being new to darksouls. I did however scream at the one dude who transformed into the glob thing. I was level 67 when I beat dancer. I had yet to go DOWN THE STAIRS. Or talk to my friends about the boss. They were talking about finally reaching her after the fight with the onion knight, when I went: After? I just got past her and am now fighting a dragon dude? Do we fight her twice? And that’s when I learned I had: got gud. It was an utter pain in the ASS. I’ve killed her first on almost every challenge run I’ve done tho, cos it’s easy souls now… after fighting her more than 3000 times.

Or just poisen him and hide in a safe spot
While it would have possibly ruined a part of the challenge, i would 100% gone with a bleed weapon like uchi at the start to get that extra dmg in 😅
My first thought would've been going cold with Vordt's Hammer instead. Kinda cool if you think about it, bleed dex and cold str

That compilation at the end must have taken a lot of time to build. Respect.
him walking into gael with half a million souls was hard to watch

Journey 7 is what everyone used to describe Dark Souls to be like when it comes to getting used to the game I mean.
Great run! Love the gen 5 pokemon music
Dope I’ve done ng 7 fresh start on 1 and 2 never heard of anyone doing it for 3 👍

NG+7 is the cannon difficulty the player character went through and beat the impossible odds to me.
This is how Dark Souls feels the first time you start it on NG :P
It's not that the soul of cinder is easy, it's just that the twin chads and slave knight Chad exist in the same realm
i’m gonna stop you right there, the answer is no, no i cannot do that

hey, how did you get it to start at NG+7? I'd like to try this myself if you don't mind sharing, I enjoyed the video btw!

Dark souls 3 but you can’t kill non boss enemies
the soul gain alone would make this super easy

What was the build/stats use used?
