- In an Internet era rampant with cleverly presented misinformation, removing public dislikes from TH-cam could have devastating consequences. There is a strong correlation between a video's like-to-dislike ratio and the accuracy of the title and content. Without access to that ratio, most people don't have the time, patience, desire or brainpower to distinguish between accurate and misleading information. This is especially true for children, who spend many hours each week watching videos while their brains have not fully developed the ability to think critically.
Censorship of this magnitude should not be taken lightly. I highly encourage everyone to consider alternate platforms for content creation and consumption. I will be deciding in the next few weeks whether to remove my TH-cam channel until a public dislike button returns. Thanks for reading.

Man you taught me so much about this game even though I had it as a kid so I played it many of times and a couple of times in my adult hood and didn't know about the cost of each monster is calculated by it's combined attack and defense and to use zombies with 0 defense! That's genius and wish I would have learned that years ago lol
Man, this takes me back to the old days of Yu-Gi-Oh, back when La Jinn and Gemini Elf were considered powerful beatsticks
This was the first game I ever bought ... We my mom bought it for my 7th birthday, when I received my gameboy color in 2002 ... Good times

I never watched this youtuber before, yet I'm oddly satisfied while watching him punch in those passwords.
Also as a kid, I saved $30 for this game. I have good memories with this game, even if I never beat it even with a strategy guide.

It's incredible the amount of knowledge of fusions you'd need to route this game. It's hard enough just keeping the generic fusions straight, let alone the more specific ones.
Speaking of, do you happen to know of a tool to learn fusions? I have a comprehensive list of all fusions in the game, but it's quite overwhelming, given it's thousands of entries long.

I picked up this Game from my Local Used Game Store (which is no Longer in Business) May 14th 2016 took it home, played it, and oh my God Awesome Yu Gi Oh Game Ever I love Pokémon, Digimon, Bakugan, and Yu Gi Oh

This game's rules and gameplay are actually very loyal to those of the manga and even the anime, especially during the Duelist Kingdom arc, which explains why all these unexplainable shenanigans occur. Also, there were no Trap cards until Yugi's duel with Weevil when he played the Mirror Force. Trap cards did not exist in the first game back in 1998.
Wrong, duelist kingdom did not require sacrifices as this game does, and you cant “attack the moon!!” Or “destroy the swords of revealing light to make his dark castle fall!!”
That is why the future installments which follow the rulebooks rules is called duel monsters 5 experts 1 or 2 as they were following when kaibas battle city decided to make things more interesting by playing by the rules book known as the experts rules. Sacrificing and giving up your best card
@@danielvelaswuez7197 Yes, games like "Forbidden Memories" and "The Sacred Cards" use similar systems. "Reshef of Destruction" was the final evolution of this split between the manga, the anime, and the OCG/TCG, and it is actually a fun game if you can get beyond its difficulty. "Duelists of the Roses" also falls into this category, in being a sequel of sorts to "Forbidden Memories", but it is its own beast which I highly recommend any Yu-Gi-Oh fan give a shot.
I miss early Yu-Gi-Oh's willingness to try new and inventive things. It's really a shame everything is so laser focused on OCG/TCG and its marketing these days.
@@MrPSaun Yeah the rulebook is pretty fun but I wished they made it with a big of a twist like duelist kingdom and all the other games you mentioned although when expert rules first started that was cool as well. I recall as a kid when battle city started kids would ask battle city rules or duelist kingdom. That shit was big

I remember beating this game I think. Not sure about the password. What's the password card he gives you? Is it earthshaker? I had such a hard time figuring out you had to beat them a certain number of times lol

You can search for a Dark Duel Stories ROM on Google, then play it with a GBC emulator (I recommend Gambatte).

Yes, most speed run just gets the fastest way to beat the game without doing any extra bosses or alternate endings
