@@nickl2854 Much better than the reviews (or even the trailer for that matter) make it out to be. It's way more creative and ambitious than I expected it to be (which makes a lot of sense considering who it's directed by) and as a longtime Beatles fan I was satisfied.
@Sawbones David Bowie would make a good movie, also would Jimi Hendrix although i think that made a Hendrix movie but it was really bad, cheep and poor directors
I don't know if they say it in the movie but in interviews part of Jack's dilema is that he also has to remember the words and music to these songs so there's a possibility that that's the reason why some instrumentation is different. That, or the movie just wants to change up the songs slightly.
And you know that scene will you see John by the sea in real life that's what John said he wanted to do was retire to little house by the sea. So in a way he got his wish
Something in every Beatles song just feels timeless. It's not just the incredible lyrics and beats. There's like there's this magical charm that was placed on each one, that's why they always feel relevant.
You would have thought since all these songs make ya boi a massive arena touring success.. Ellie would have gained so much money from singing on the album she wouldnt have to ever be a school teacher again?
Not really, since they're performing for a different market. Without nostalgia or quirky teens, I doubt a lot of beatles records would be sold these days
I've seen this movie twice now second time around I realized that in real life John Lennon said he wanted to retire by the sea and so in the end you see John a live by the sea and that brought out all my tears. This is a pretty good movie! But I see it again yes definitely. Because I get something out of it each time it seems that each of the music clips fits the scene on purpose I believe.
What an amazing film, one of the best and most original concepts done so well and with so much heart, as a Beatles fan I can't praise this movie enough.
I loved this movie! It was amazingly put together. They probably wanted to write a song but couldn’t think of any ideas so they just did the Beatles not existing.
*Recording Studio is called **_"Tracks on the Tracks"_* *Its logo has the strings of the guitar as a pair of railway tracks.* That's so brilliant it almost justifies the obviously terrible idea of doing recording next to an operating railway line.
There's a new age band from Portugal called "Madredeus" because their first recording studio was in the crypt of an old church with streetcar tracks just outside. Every fifteen minutes a streetcar passed by and made the whole house rock, so recording sessions had to be timed meticulously to the minutes inbetween! As the streetcars headed for a township called Madre de Deus, and the name was shortened to MADREDEUS on the streetcars themselves, they named their band after it.
I don't think enough people would appreciate Beatles today if they were from our generation. There are people doing really good music and no one knows about them. The popular music and the Korean music gets all the attention.
