New coins like HOOSAT are not appearing in my Hive Os, do people have to upgrade their Hive Os, was about 2 years or more when I created my USB. Also I am in UK perhaps some coins do not appear in UK.

i have followed your steps, but am trying to mine PYI on Hiveos and can't. besisde putting the hiveos image in my usb and creating a walltet in hiveos for my Pyrin. some of the settings for mining and pools are abit confusing. can you help once i have transfered my hiveos image to my usb? whats the next steps onve I plugged it into my rig? thansk in advance.
Will the usb way still work if you have a ssd drive connected to the rig computer. Or will that mess up the booting from the USB? Sorry if its dumb but I'm new to all this lol

Can you run hiveos in a virtual machine and mining while you work con windows? more detail, windows will use embedded GPU in CPU chip, mining will use 2 GPUs.
so is it true we can buy one of those Samsung T7 or T5, either 500GB or 1TB, and then use it for the drive for HiveOS? That way, it probably is more robust than the USB Flash Drive option...

@@TheHobbyistMiner im working a new build i already got hive flashed using their new flashing tool i just haven’t had a chance to boot up from it but will follow up as soon as i do that. I was just curious if you had use it or not. But using the flashing tool was very easy you dont need a iso file the tool just prompts you to pick a os version then you paste your farm hash and hit flash and that was it.
hi, My ssd shows up as "disk 2, 111,79 gb, unallocated" with no option to change letter. It is as hiveos wasnt installed even though I burned the img to the ssd with balena. Its not even named "hive" after burning it. Only the option "new simple volume" when I right click it. After I press new simple volume it's still named just "F" and no hive, cant access it without formatting it. Any thoughts? thx
Also, can we actually install HiveOS to our PC's hard drive? I have a notebook with a 1TB SSD drive with 900GB free, and burned the HiveOS to a USB Flash Drive and it seems to treat this USB Flash Drive as the "hard drive" for HiveOS... can't I install it on my 1TB SSD drive too?

A bit off topic but hopefully you will see this and have time for an answer. I now have about 2 Gh running on Hiveon pool and am unsure which payment method to use. Options are $3/month per rig (currently I have 6 on the pool) so that is $18/month. Currently I am mining about $2,700/month. However, my farm is currently set up for paying the 3% fee (which I can change). If I am doing the math correctly does the 3% pool fee mean 3% of my $2,700? If so...that is a whopping $83.70 per month!! Before I switch over to the 3$/month/rig option can you tell me if I am looking at this correctly? I cannot find anything on the web that has clarified this, so I am reaching out to you. Thank you!

Strange, I followed the instructions to the letter with my SSD and when installed, just shows up as offline, it doesnt connect to the hive os? Any reason for this. Internet connection is fine.
my network is KAKA 6hrs trying to get the OS in my Browser it Keeps Saying Missing Flight Sheet i already Made 20 Flight Sheet but None of the 20 are Sticking to the new Config File when put on SSD
It won't update the password. Every time I hit update password it says "Data given was invalid" with a red bar then a second later it says "Password saved successfully" with the green bar but the config file still has the old password and refreshing the page shows the old password on hiveos dashboard.
I just created my account today and I'm having the same issue with upating the password. Were you able to find out what the problem was and update the password succesfully? Let me know. Thanks!!

Hi Hobbyst, I have a problem with HiveOS, I have a rig with a 1660 GPU and another 1660 ti, after a few hours the rig starts mining, it shuts down by itself and stops mining, I can't connect remotely to restart or nothing, I have to plug it in with the power supply and reboot. would you know what it should be? @blabla bla I also found I had to turn off my antivirus as it was flagging balena etcher and not completing the write to my ssd.

Trying to run HIVE on my desktop with GPU while not amusing it for designing/gaming it’s not a separate stand alone rig. Is that possible?

if you disconnect the drive after flashing and reconnect it, it saves having to map the drive letter IIRC
Yep. I recommend disconnecting it for 2 mins in the video.
If it still doesn't come up, i go through mapping the drive letter.

What if my test rig is my actually my gaming rig? Would I need to go into bios and have the motherboard boot with that specific drive?
They are both operating systems. Run one or the other build a 2nd pc.
