SIB Fishing UK Autumn - Garmin Striker footage - Whiting - honwave t32

I try to target some different species today away from the estuary. Autumn has just started, so what does that mean for sea fishing?
My Garmin Striker 4 fish finder is showing loads of fish right away, and I'm soon into them.

Harwich/Felixstowe ? If you can get whiting of a decent size they are a great tasting fish.

Hi, yeah this was Harwich. Biggest I've had it 35cm. You are right they do taste good. I've taken a few home in the past to pan fry!

Good vid , I have the T38 and am going to get into some sea fishing , what is the gold reel with the round handle your using and what size , seen some others using similar ,

I presume you were anchored ? I haven't taken my excel 330 out in the sea yet ,what size anchor did you use if you were using one please ? .

Hi, yes I was anchored up. I have a 3.2kg grapnle anchor with 2m of chain attached and then plenty of rope. That holds me well in the tides around essex/suffolk. You may need bigger depending on where you are.
