Thanks for the talk, not only i'm gaining new knowledge about neck, it's also making me less anxious. Google is too scary, the articles say i have the lymphoma cancer and now i can't stop thinking about it. But then i came across this vid, i'm still scared but your way of talking is calming me down, i'll check my lymph nodes swelling everyday for 2 weeks, if it's not going away or getting better of if it's getting bigger, i'll go to a doctor. But it'd be really hard for me to book an appointment because of the pandemic, as i don't wanna harm my family by insisting on getting this checked

NO ONE KNOWS WHAT I HAVE NOW IM SUPER SCARED! Let me explain it. Basically it feels like I have a circular muscle inside my neck, does not hurt does not move, and I have these 2 smaller ones on my right cheek they I can move but I can only move them a certain amount then they just don’t go any farther. I also have not had any symptoms and have been perfectly fine. There is no bump but it is in there. You can tell if you feel it. Also, this is only on the right side of my neck. My left side also has the 2 little things on the cheek too, just that’s all. Also on the right side I have like a chain of circular balls going to my shoulders. Please help me. Anyone else have this? I’m scared. Forgot to mention, I have had this my entire life it’s just I never noticed till I was 9. I know whatever it is, I don’t care if it’s harmless, I want it out of there, I want a normal neck.

But if it’s like the size of a nickel or quarter you should get it checked out. That means it’s being disturbed by something around your neck. Mine are big only because I have a ring worm infection which causes rashes and the rashes are making them big, so you should be fine.
If you find a lump in your neck go your doctor. Last year on the left part of my neck. I went to my doctor which he could feel it. He sent me to get an ultra sound. As soon as he got the results he called me and told me that I have a T3 tumor on my throat. So please go to your doctor if you feel a lump on your neck.

I have had a hard bump that has grown over the past at least 10 years its located near the hyroid bone I have had it checked by a specialist and they said it's fine didnt say what it was, it doesnt hurt but I have a couple more forming should I go back again
I am really worried. The lymph nodes on the side of my neck has been swelling for at least 4 months now, and I also had mononucleosis two years ago. My doctor did an ultrasound and a blood test. And according to him it is not lymphoma. The ultrasound shows that the biggest lymph node in the area is only 6mm. But I would like to point out that I am less than 5 ft, so I think that 6mm is relatively big for my body size. I was wondering if a blood test and an ultrasound is enough to go by to be sure that I have no lymphoma, or should I get a second opinion from another doctor?
I hate to tell you this but it’s usually only one side I’ve never known anyone who had lymphoma that had it on both it’s usually one side of the body so it was one lymph node that’s when you worry I think that’s why the doctors weren’t worried
I have large lymph nodes on the left side of my neck. I had a blood test done and it didn’t show cancer. Although the dr. Told me you can’t tell lymphoma through a blood test. You need a biopsy. I have one coming up soon.
Wow this is the most informative video I have found for what I am going through. I have a large needle biopsy scheduled for a group of abnormally large lympnodes. The dr. Thinks it’s thyroid cancer. My question to you Dr. Is should I just have the larger lymph node removed since it has to come out either way? Had cat scan new year's Day at hospital after going with chest pains in few days Dr rang said need to see specialist hospital the lymphoma clinic rang I'm going for biopsy on Monday with ultrasound and mri and see gadtrional specialist dematoligist and hemotoligist I had appointments different days times I managed to call them all and rebook all around when I'm going for the biopsy.
I don’t understand why cost would or should ever be a consideration in health diagnosis or treatment? This was mentioned as number 1 reason and consideration many times. This makes no sense to me? The doctor doesn’t pay.. oh wait .. are the Doctors ranked by insurance companies on which doctors cost the insurance companies more? Oh shit light bulb moment for me.. I couldn’t understand why it was so difficult to get a referral for a full body scan.. I am 50 feel as if there is something wrong in my neck but my senses are telling me it’s located or caused by my stomach or something. I smoked for 35 years so I felt low dose full body scan ,. BUT NOO can’t do that the 2 doctors told me. No we can’t just order that let’s start small and work up if something found.. huh that makes no sense to me. I’m gonna pay for it, the scan place does it, my insurance covers it if I decide to claim it.. the scan place just needs a referral., I’m told this is because they don’t consult and disclose results that needs be done by my doc. Hmm doesn’t make much sense to me since they do read n report just not to me but to a physician hmm I’m not happy w that answer but ok I will get a referral but NOO 2 docs turned me down and I called around n nope doctors don’t do that of course for my own good. Hmm but they all were willing to order a low dose lung scan since I fit the requirement of long term smoking, mammogram, colonoscopy, and X-ray on my neck and upper back due to severe pain.. so no low dose full body scan which included virtual colonoscopy and breast.. so 1 low dose which again would show my breasts, back, lungs, colon along with head, throat, stomach, liver, pancreas etc etc .. no instead I had 5 neck back X-rays, mamogram, lung scan, order to get an invasive colonoscopy... so 5 X-rays, lung scan and monogram is much less radiation exposure?? I really don’t know but seems odd... but now I found a lump in my neck so did sonogram and they ordered CT of neck.., and a small in my middle lobe of lung.. and it’s 3 months since I had fought for myself to get a body scan.. really sad and wrong!!! I could go on due to the idiocy of life being connected to something as arbitrary as money? This is unreal., if a house is on fire or a bad car accident and the fire department got rated by the deaths per calls it went on.., only if there were large number of deaths per call or 10 calls did they maintain an A rating and funding., but if their death rate went down compared to number of calls then they were considered to be costly and they must be going unnecessarily.. So ordering tests is based off actuary numbers vs saving someone’s life or giving piece of mind which is quality of life. So you do tests based on your rating from an insurance company over better safe than sorry cause that person matters.. ok your last sentence referred to not testing just so patient not worry .. hmmm this is really messed up.

The patient has to pay themeselves and things can be very expensive. For example, a simple visit to the GP without running any lab tests could be 50$, just talking to your GP. A GP is usually the cheapest doctor from the insurance's perspective. "full body scan" Actually extremely expensive. Even running a fMRI on the head is very expensive and time consuming, because it kind of produces hundrets of slices/photos of your head and every single photo needs to be thoroughly examined. And the photos are all just in grey tones. Every single part of the brain is just another shade of grey. "caused by my stomach" Why not just do a gastroscopy? Could be faster and cheaper to do and they'll see your stomach in full color and can do a biopsy right away. That's not something an fMRI or CT could do. fMRI and CT can't do what a colonoscopy does (in a colonoscopy doctors can remove polyps and see inflammations - not really something that is possible with fMRI/CT). Some masses can also be easier to detect with sonography or x-ray than fMRI/CT, because they consists of different "materials/tissue" and some might "glow" thanks to radiactive contrast agents while others don't. And one contrast agent might make tissue A glow but not tissue B, so which contrast agent would you use for a full body scan...?

I have a lump on my neck cervical area under jaw first noticed it 3 yrs ago but didn't think much of it but 2 yes ago it got bigger so went to Dr he said it was my hybrid bone . Cpl month later had to get an MRI gd or something else and the GP said the so called hybrid bone is a 2cm swollen lymph node was seen on MRI any way GP said to keep eye on it but is not concerned, well 3 yrs later been back and forth GP due to extreme weight loss and lump solid non moveable and alot bigger but GP said I'm looking for problems as you only see them due to losing weight , but why have I lost so much weight? I want from 10st4 right down to 6st5 in 5/6 months so been now told it's because I'm depressed 😕😔
When you have a major wt loss and have still been eating the same food get to a Dr that will listen. It's not normal.wt loss is like 1st symtom of cancer

I am currently reviewing this video and I have a lump approximately the size of a golf ball (but oblong and somewhat flat), which is resting on the top at the beginning of the clavicle. I have a big muscular neck, 19.5 inches, I noticed this lump when I lost some weight in my neck/lower chin area. There is no pain/discomfort, no problem swallowing, no hoarseness. Has anybody in this thread experienced a lump in that area? I can send a picture if needed. Its been there for 2 years now but the last 6 months ive been getting pain in the ear and sharp pricking sensation about 2cm under the lump. I don’t feel a lump but on the right side of my neck it feels like I have something there when I swallow. It has been there since August, September. When I eat or drink it doesn’t hurt but when I regularly swallow it hurts. Doctors said allergies, post nasal, but nothing worked

@@Happinessiskey1234 Mine is a T3 tumor on my throat. I thought that it was probably an infection or something because I had a bad cold a few weeks before I felt it. When I touched it there was no pain. I told my doctor and he sent me for many tests and then a needle biopsy and it was a tumor.
Honestly, everybody with questions need to schedule an appointment to see a doctor or go to the ER. You can't be turned away for not having insurance. This video actually gave me strength to get mine checked out.

Take electrolytes (potassium & magnesium) & fast. Fasting will shrink the tumors until they disappear. Search the word “autophagy”.

I have this but I have some severe weakness feelings every few hours and then my neck will just start sweating and burn up then head pain

Hmm doesn’t make much sense to me since they do read n report just not to me but to a physician hmm I’m not happy w that answer but ok I will get a referral but NOO 2 docs turned me down and I called around n nope doctors don’t do that of course for my own good. Hmm but they all were willing to order a low dose lung scan since I fit the requirement of long term smoking, mammogram, colonoscopy, and X-ray on my neck and upper back due to severe pain.. so no low dose full body scan which included virtual colonoscopy and breast.. so 1 low dose which again would show my breasts, back, lungs, colon along with head, throat, stomach, liver, pancreas etc etc ..
no instead I had 5 neck back X-rays, mamogram, lung scan, order to get an invasive colonoscopy... so 5 X-rays, lung scan and monogram is much less radiation exposure?? I really don’t know but seems odd... but now I found a lump in my neck so did sonogram and they ordered CT of neck.., and a small in my middle lobe of lung.. and it’s 3 months since I had fought for myself to get a body scan.. really sad and wrong!!! I could go on due to the idiocy of life being connected to something as arbitrary as money? This is unreal., if a house is on fire or a bad car accident and the fire department got rated by the deaths per calls it went on.., only if there were large number of deaths per call or 10 calls did they maintain an A rating and funding., but if their death rate went down compared to number of calls then they were considered to be costly and they must be going unnecessarily..
So ordering tests is based off actuary numbers vs saving someone’s life or giving piece of mind which is quality of life. So you do tests based on your rating from an insurance company over better safe than sorry cause that person matters..

That's because there are countries (e.g. USA) where there is no universal health care. The patient has to pay themeselves and things can be very expensive. For example, a simple visit to the GP without running any lab tests could be 50$, just talking to your GP. A GP is usually the cheapest doctor from the insurance's perspective.

Actually extremely expensive. Even running a fMRI on the head is very expensive and time consuming, because it kind of produces hundrets of slices/photos of your head and every single photo needs to be thoroughly examined. And the photos are all just in grey tones. Every single part of the brain is just another shade of grey.

Why not just do a gastroscopy? Could be faster and cheaper to do and they'll see your stomach in full color and can do a biopsy right away. That's not something an fMRI or CT could do. fMRI and CT can't do what a colonoscopy does (in a colonoscopy doctors can remove polyps and see inflammations - not really something that is possible with fMRI/CT). Some masses can also be easier to detect with sonography or x-ray than fMRI/CT, because they consists of different "materials/tissue" and some might "glow" thanks to radiactive contrast agents while others don't. And one contrast agent might make tissue A glow but not tissue B, so which contrast agent would you use for a full body scan...?

I have a lump on my neck cervical area under jaw first noticed it 3 yrs ago but didn't think much of it but 2 yes ago it got bigger so went to Dr he said it was my hybrid bone . Cpl month later had to get an MRI gd or something else and the GP said the so called hybrid bone is a 2cm swollen lymph node was seen on MRI any way GP said to keep eye on it but is not concerned, well 3 yrs later been back and forth GP due to extreme weight loss and lump solid non moveable and alot bigger but GP said I'm looking for problems as you only see them due to losing weight , but why have I lost so much weight? I want from 10st4 right down to 6st5 in 5/6 months so been now told it's because I'm depressed 😕😔

When you have a major wt loss and have still been eating the same food get to a Dr that will listen. It's not normal.wt loss is like 1st symtom of cancer

I am currently reviewing this video and I have a lump approximately the size of a golf ball (but oblong and somewhat flat), which is resting on the top at the beginning of the clavicle. I have a big muscular neck, 19.5 inches, I noticed this lump when I lost some weight in my neck/lower chin area. There is no pain/discomfort, no problem swallowing, no hoarseness. Has anybody in this thread experienced a lump in that area? I can send a picture if needed. I do have an appointment on 8/3/22 with my GP and I have had bloodwork, including thyroid and the thyroid blood work results were normal. Thank you in advance, Kevin.

I have a hard painless lump just under my right ear where the jaw bone starts. Its been there for 2 years now but the last 6 months ive been getting pain in the ear and sharp pricking sensation about 2cm under the lump. My doctor says its a raised lymph node and because of its size its ok but even if it is not cancerous can it be removed if its causing pain or discomfort ? Thankyou

I don’t feel a lump but on the right side of my neck it feels like I have something there when I swallow. It has been there since August, September. When I eat or drink it doesn’t hurt but when I regularly swallow it hurts. Doctors said allergies, post nasal, but nothing worked

@@Happinessiskey1234 Mine is a T3 tumor on my throat. I thought that it was probably an infection or something because I had a bad cold a few weeks before I felt it. When I touched it there was no pain. I told my doctor and he sent me for many tests and then a needle biopsy and it was a tumor.
Honestly, everybody with questions need to schedule an appointment to see a doctor or go to the ER. You can't be turned away for not having insurance. This video actually gave me strength to get mine checked out.
