😂 yes the laughter thundered I think there was one actual British journalist… the writing press that is as many of the TH-camrs are way more appreciative of the good that Max brings to the sport while being critical of things they perceive to be bad and that of course is ok.

2016-->Max goes from P16 to P3 at Interlagos in wet conditions.
2024--> Max goes from P17 to P1 at Interlagos in wet conditions.
Masterclass drive then and today. The 4th WDC is his.
WEEK AGO: Jos Verstappen 🇳🇱: "Is there a conflict of interest?" ... Verstappen Sr went on to add that "there were a few stewards present who don't like him anyway". ... The stewards panel in Mexico City comprised former F1 driver Johnny Herbert 🇬🇧; experienced motorsports executive and official Tim Mayer, who is also the son of former McLaren team principal Teddy; lawyer Loïc Bacquelaine, and experienced Mexican official Alfonso Oros Trigueros.
Verstappen Sr. 🇳🇱 added: "The FIA should take a good look at the composition of the stewards, who they put there and whether there is any appearance of a conflict of interest. For example, former drivers who have more sympathy for certain drivers or riders".
OK let's see about the British 🇬🇧 media's history in this sport just in the last 3 decades portraying "bad guys":
    Schumacher 🇩🇪
    Alonso 🇪🇸
    Raikkonen 🇫🇮
    Massa 🇧🇷
    Rosberg 🇩🇪
    Vettel 🇩🇪
    Verstappen 🇳🇱

Mess with Max and you first get Mad Max - then on the track, you get Magic Max. It only took about 3 mins of watching Max race in F1 and I could see he was destined for greatness. The Brits, their media and ex drivers and the more nationalistic fans that cannot see past their own bias for the love of the sport, they seen it too, but rather than enjoy the show, they set about destroying his character. As they did with Schumacher, Alonso, Vettel and many other of the greats whose great crime was they were winners and not British. They are really a disgrace, and Max has shown them for what they are, this past weekend.
FIA need to seriously think about conflict of interest because the likes of Herbert etc cannot be trusted to remain objective when they get into stewarding and other positions of power.

As a person from Sweden. With no horse in the race it's clear. The British press isn't journos...they should grab a set of pom-poms. I'm sure there are some papayas being handed out at the hospitality for a certain team. I have no horse in the race. But I have been an F1 fan longer than many. I'm knocking at the door of 50 now...been following F1 my entire life. What is it with the British press? Can't they just report and be open and honest? Unless there's a winning British driver it's always negative and they have personal issues with every winning driver that doesn't come from the island? Personally I love the fact that some drivers have skills way off the charts. Stick to facts and things look grim. You guys at this channel are very good at reporting, I give you that. Everyone else seems to forget....Lando is the worst top driver when it comes to lap one performance. I actually believe Marcus Ericsson in a Kick Sauber would have better lap one performance. So utterly sick and tired of British sport media with very few exceptions. I actually rooted for Rosberg due to British media. I root for everyone else due to British media. Don't get me wrong. I love Lando, the person. He has spearheaded talks of psychic health talks. But as said...everyone else when it comes to the result due to the media.
This channel is awesome and your reporting is balanced. Thank you. ❤

I AM Dutch. however i like you have been watching virtually my entire life. Since the early seventies. Do i like when a Dutchman wins ... sure. I wouldn't lie about that. Was Max's defence over the top in Mexico? yes, it was. Did he deserve a penalty? yes, and nobody in the Netherlands disagrees with that. what most don't get though is the inconsistencies of penalties being handed out. some get 5 seconds, some get 10 seconds, and some get a stiff talking to after the race. It's been an irritation for all F1 fans for some time now. and that is true for a host of infringements on and off track. there is NO consistency.

Max’s reputation in the British media is definitely more villain than hero, sometimes justified, sometimes not.

There needs to be a complete overhaul of the Sky Sports F1 commentary team. Anyone who shows bias towards any team or driver has no business being on a worldwide broadcast network. It’s fine for local broadcasters, if not expected, but for worldwide or even nation wide? Absolutely not.
Image watching the World Series and the commentators continually make negative comments about the Dodgers and praise everything the Yankees do. That’d be ridiculous, yet that’s exactly what’s happening in F1. The fact that they cut that stuff out of the highlights they post here shows they know what they’re doing isn’t gonna fly here.

Norris saying it was luck that Max won. You don't win with a 20sec lead starting from 17th on the grid on luck, that was skill and talent.

This witch hunt from the britisch media is actually really shocking.. Its getting way too personal for proffessional journalism, this should be handled very quick...

Was watching the GP with a friend who doesn't normally watch F1 and he thanked me that I asked to watch it with him since it was such an exhilerating race.

The funny thing is that Mercedes fans in the U.K. constantly moaned about RB bias from Sky. People hear what they want to hear.
