A tour de force of F1 history. Thank you for your cyclopedic knowledge of the sport. Back in 1968 I remember getting my motorcycle helmet signed by Emerson Fittipaldi when going to Kyalami on a Wednesday afternoon after school. We rode right into the pits and all the drivers were having tea. (You can’t do that today!) I asked Emerson for his autograph and he grabbed my helmet and signed it. All the other drivers ragged him by shouting “Emerson!” together. One thing I did not know was that Gunston was the first cigarette company to sponsor F1. The brand was famous in SA with all their sponsored cars painted in “Gunston Orange”. The racing Ford Capri Piranha was iconic at the time. Thanks once again!

I have to say this video is a massive achievement. I was born the year Formula One started. So this almost feels like my life trajectory! One point that you might've made but didn't. In the 2007 Chinese Grand Prix, McLaren left Hamilton out a couple of laps too long before the tyre change. His tyres were completely bald and on the entry into the pit lane he slid off into the gravel and could not be pulled out. If he had continued and stayed the same place on the track he would've become champion. Because of those lost points, he lost the championship to Räikkönen by one point. When you add this to the disgraceful way the 2021 championship was stolen from him, he should have been a nine times world champion by now,
the '94 Season was very special and what's missing from the video is that the Benneton of Schumacher was down on power from all other cars, it had a V8 engine compared to the V10 in Hill's Williams and Ferrari's V12, what Schumacher did that year was truly outstanding in an era where there was no engine dominance over all rivals on the grid.

@@carnell7042f1 was just as financially motivated in the past as it is now. If anything, it might even be less so now.
People look back on the past with rose tinted glasses, forgetting how many issues there were… if you weren’t in the top 4-6, it was basically a race of attrition. The racing was good when it was actually possible, but I’d argue there are just as many good races in the current era.
This was great!
Great video allthough you left out the scandal around Flavio Briatore, the rule change that forbid refuelling, the end of the tyre war, Hannah Schmitz and her contribution to redbulls dominance and you didn't mention DRS with a single word.
Great video!😊
Good stuff , leaving some support
Wow it's amazing all the effort and work put in this!❤❤
Merry Christmas!! We hope you like it! :-)
3 hours and not one minute wasted, bravo
Imagine drivers from the 60's can travel in time n see today's cars n Grand prix with all the safety speed etc , mind blowing for sure 🎉

A trip back in time
I love it !!!
Feels unreal to be able to watch this for free. Absolute banger of a video.
Really nice my man, and to your team Excellent work ! :)!

Excellent video, thank you for the hard work. As a long time fan of the sport , there are still many snippets of information i wasn't aware of. For example the fact Lancia passed their knowledge and engines to Ferrari when they left F1... Really very interesting
Thanks chatGPT, very cool.
Amazing video. Well done
Great job on this video! So well done!
Priceless time capsule! Thank you.
The first World Championship Grand Prix at Silverstone in 1950, Ferrari weren't there, the organisers probably didn't offer enough starting money to make the trip worthwhile for Enzo's team, they did however compete during that first season
Incredible video, well done!!
This was a brilliant listen. Good job!!!
on the double point thing, id like to see a season where the fia awards double points on a race completely randomly. right before lights out and the drivers are already on the grid ready to race. wonder how thatd change strategy.
GREAT VIDEO!!!! Thank you for the effort.
Awesome staff 👏👏👏 well detailed
Thank you so much 😀
8 minutes into the video and I'm already astunished with the amount of information and pictures /footage acquired for this video. 😮
You should have been at Silverstone when Schumacheater broke his leg! What a cheer! What baffles me is he was so good, why did he do it?
Impressive work! Thanks for that!
Thanks for this. This was a perfect watch.
Dude, this is absolutely astonishing. Thank you for your hard work and effort. I’m a long haul semi truck driver and this is making my day much more bearable.
It really isn’t
Great and well done video
What a find for a bit of Sunday viewing 👀
Great video
Don’t forget to mention that after the Spain GP in 2008 Ferrari decided to put all their eggs in one basket favoring Massa in development because of the future Santander sponsor deal. Kimi was screwed by Ferrari and they kicked him in 2009.
Great video alltogether, but the music changing up wouldve made such a difference. This constant song is a bit tense.
Fantastic video, thank you!
