I'm mystified about the penalty, or lack thereof, for Lando entering a closed circuit during the aborted start.
If you look back on the replay, the marshals and Lance are literally standing right there in the gravel while cars are driving past. They assumed they are working on a closed circuit, instead there are cars who are doing their burnouts trying to warm tires some meters away from them. As the stewards explain in their document, it was Lando that caused this break in procedure that lead to a very serious safety problem. And yet, no penalty (practically speaking.)
Let me ask you this, does anyone believe Max would have gotten a 5000 euro fine for such a breach? Personally I think Max would have gotten disqualified for endangering people. This ruling by FIA does not look good and lends more credence to accusations of bias.

@13:38 "...it's all procedural... Now, I'm not after a hefty penalty for LN, but I am after consistency in ruling.
The stewards were evidently downplaying the incident heavily by hastily sending the rest of the field after the first ones, "for practical reasons".
In the opinion of the stewards LN "precipitated the action of the drivers on the grid directly behind him".
What bothers me most, is that the FIA ,rightfully, make many decisions based on safety.
There were machines and people on the track (occupied with LS's car), while only just has been proven that even in a formation lap, drivers are prone to losing control and go off the track.
In that light, In my opinion, a fine of €5,000 for the precipitator does not reflect any care for safety.

Well said. Fairness and consistency would have been to give the appropriate penalties to all who infringed, not just Lando by the way... but all they get is a reprimand? There really should be a deep look into the governing body and it's decision makers, because you do not need to be a conspiracy theorist to see that something is going on here, and we can only presume that ratings and money matter more to them than actual fair and safe sporting.

Norris should have been given a 10s penalty
23 May 2007 - 4 seconds to go: if the start is aborted, the drivers will have to do a second formation lap five minutes later.
      c) If any other problem arises, and if the Race Director decides the start should be delayed, the following procedures shall apply:
      i) If the race has not been started, the abort lights will be switched on, a board saying “DELAYED START” will be displayed, engines should be stopped and all Competitors will be informed of the likely delay using the official messaging system. Once the start time is known at least five minutes warning will be given.
Why don't we see false starts in F1? Is there some ...
Because the drivers get penalised for false starts. The penalty is a drive-through, which looses the driver about 30 seconds (give or take, depending on track).
But Haas did fall foul of a stewards' investigation with both their cars after it was ruled that the team's messages at the end of the formation lap telling Magnussen and Grosjean to pit for dry tyres broke 'driver aid' radio rules.
Both drivers were. While Magnussen dropped behind Sainz, Grosjean slipped a place to 16th behind Alfa Romeo's Kimi Raikkonen.

Liberty Media need a close finish to the drivers championship, so they got together with the F.I.A to sabotage Red Bull and Max, notice the penalties to Red Bull are heavier than for other teams/ drivers.
Rigging the Championship so viewing figures are maintained is also dangerous, drivers getting away with dangerous driving just to keep the championship race alive.
Max has been hammered by the British Media, an absolute disgrace. During the race the British commentators were crying as Max drove through the pack, took the lead and then they just talked about ANY other driver rather than MAX.
Then after the race the British Media flew out of Brazil, MAX calling them out.

He had one small off in Q1, qualified 5th, got tagged by Piastri (who admitted fault) in the race causing him to spin (which saw him lose two places), got passed by three much faster cars (Verstappen, Leclerc and Piastri) and managed to hold out Perez then Hamilton for many laps for 9th place.

As far as I know a red Flag cost Max to miss out in Q2 ...Also Lando's first win in Miami was because of a Red Flag ....what was Max's response, actually defending Lando from the press ... "You win some you loose some, its part of racing" Then I'm not even mentioning Lando wanting to pit 7 laps before he actually did but his team said NO .... He would have lost 27s in that pit stop and wouldn't even be in the points !!!! You Lando are the epitome of a hypocrite !!! ....... The way the rules are being interpreted has turned F1 into a jury sport. Infringements that are entirely similar are explained as serious endangerment even though no driver has been injured when it concerns Max, and as procedural events when Lando is involved. New rules have to be invented to stop Max passing others, but Lando gets away with leaving the track and maintaining his position, even though he clearly has had a major advantage from taking a shortcut.
