Great video mate , I have an Ftx Mauler , Gmade R1 , Gmade Bom and a Trx-4 , the Gmade Bom is the better crawler then the Gmade R1 then the Ftx Mauler the most expensive one the Trx-4 is by far the worst truck I have ever bought , the truck I always recommend to others is the Ftx Mauler , all I did to mine was move the battery to the front and swop the wheels and tires over to softer tires I had as spares anyway but the ones that come with the truck are good , it’s not far behind the Gmade trucks at all but 10 times better then the Trx-4 and considering the cost why buy anything other then the Mauler it’s great cheep and up to now nothing has broken and that’s after two years of great fun with the truck ...
@@keithbutler6361 trx4 it's the best rc car. The quality is best and for amazing crawl they need lighter bodyshell and weight in front wheels. I have two of them, one with Defender bodyshell for trail and one with Ford half lexan for climbing.
@@MrPowerfazer the point I was trying to put over was the Trx-4 out of the box needs several hundred pounds spent on it , but the Mauler out the box I spent nothing nothing at all, for a first truck or if budget is a problem the Mauler is a much better buy , I have both trucks myself, any rc car / truck can be made better faster stronger buy spending money on it , I’m not trying to upset anyone I’m speaking from my own experience with both trucks that’s all ...

Nearly every video I've watched they have up graded but being a complete novice could you point me in the right direction as to where I can purchase your upgrades and how to install them? Very much appreciated in advance

What’s the body on the wraith?
The cage is factory and I cut it little front and behind. I bought the bodyshell, I cutt pieces, added others and this is the result.
Does Mauler have Brushless motor, and what tires does Mauler have exactly
Has brushed motor and duratrax C3 approach CR tires.
You dont generally want a brushless motor in a carawler
Is the ftx durable?
Yes except electronics (esc-receiver)
