Holy crap...just when you think the 720s couldn't get any more incredible, McLaren delivers.
If you ever visit Woking and peek the staff car park you will understand why.
Well we all knew the LT version would be produced at some point... didn't we?

I love how McLaren constantly trickles down tech, parts, and engineering from their extremely expensive hypercars to their cheaper models. This thing is going to stupid fast.

@@prometheus9443 Having worked in "Technology & Engineering" for nearly 40 years, from my perspective they're two sides of the same coin. The humorous part is when the "Cool Guys" are trying really hard to impress the peons about their "Super-this" and their "Mega-that" there's such a small percentage of the crowd that truly understands much more than which hole the key fits and where the charging cable connects. The old gear-heads (like me) and the engineers just roll their eyes and keep on walking.
That young lad really represented Mclaren well, he just knew the car inside out, and his passion for it really came through

Well it’s not just for the LTs, MSO options is always a bespoke choices since I guess they bring up the “value” of the cars.
Ariansyah M McLarens never hold their value anyways unless it’s a P1 and maybe the new Speedtail. Anything other series production car they make will depreciate

Agreed , the profile is really nice. However, the front, I'm still not sold on the design. I like the 650 and p1 headlights more. But it's not terrible and if I had the money It wouldn't stop me from grabbing it

@Alex Morrison not sure if that short clip is enough to compare to the scream of the LFA. plus it's only exhaust we're hearing, not the engine
LFA is a 10cyl which has been tuned to kingdom come specifically to get a nice pitch. i've never heard an 8cyl come close to the pitch of a 10 or 12cyl. i grew up with screaming formula one engines so i think that's why i prefer that sound.

Wow, the production value of these reviews is just spectacular. Beautiful editing, thoughtful and well conducted interviews, this channel is just so on point every time.
Hands down my favorite channel/reviewer on YT at the moment. The overall production quality and pure focus on the cars themselves is what keeps me coming back. No drama, measured/informed personal input, gorgeous cinematography, sound, attention to minute details - Y'all are killing it.

Mclaren are leading Ferrari by 5 years. Their Chassis is in a diferent league. A complete one piece MONOCELL 2 versus a Stroller(Pushchair) Chassis.
The production and editing that goes into the creation of these videos is incredible.

I love the styling and look of their newer models but I still really miss the old Mclaren lights from the P1, 570s, 650s, etc. I hope they bring it back in the future.
They probably won't, knowing McLaren are always moving forward with their designs

@@SushiParty The Speedtail is street legal it's a Hyper GT its made for the road, not for the track.

harveynumber1 because when I first read your comment I thought you were just being a wise ass like so many of the schmucks on TH-cam (like Nick Hughes above for example) ... but I was only half way through the video. Then I saw you were referring to something Henry said so I though my comment was unfair.
Caefection has surpassed top gear at its greatest. Amaxi g photography, a host who both respectfully cheakey in some wink wink with audience & fully passionate about any car he's reviewing. These gents & lases on the team have nailed it. Even the credits roll perfectly exemplify my thrill for all things motorized. Your videos are the highlight of my often very long days. Keep up the stellar work!
I don’t watch Carfection for the amazing cinematography, and alto not because of Catchpole’s amazing journalism and great presenting skills. I watch just to see how much lower he can wear his trousers before they fall off :p

the pr guy from McLaren was wicked. It’s guys like this that have made McLaren automotive a world leader in super car design in like 10 years.

agree. the P1 was so uncompromising in it's design. it's so slender, low and generally tightly packed.
The p1 only looks good with the wing elevated. Driving around town, it looks like a regular 720. Definitely not worth the extra coin, if you can have this, or a regular 720

Looks too much like an aftermarket body-kit. Perhaps that's just this spec tho.
DuBstep115 to the average person who only know mclaren the brand, the p1 on the street is just another mclaren. The senna is a completely different car, the p1 is not.. yes I know it’s different, but not as different as id like when spending 3-4 times more than a 720

I like that McLarens are often smaller cars (for supercars) so I've not been a fan of the LTs before but it's hard to ignore how beautiful this thing looks.

11:11 I disagree I think the 765LT looks far better than the 675LT. Especially after seeing a 720S in the flesh.
I think the 720S and 675LT looks great but I don't think this looks anywhere near as good as the 67LT. Or any other LT for that matter. In comparison it looks like an aftermarket body-kit.
The rear end isn't all that good looking on the 765LT tbh. Looks very Novitec/Mansory im sorry to say

It looks reasonably clean for an LT to me actually. Certainly more attractive than the 600LT, which, while my personal favourite, was disappointing ugly compared to the 570.
The 600LT is just as cool.

Apart from all the formula 1 grade alloys and bespoke driveline parts.....this thing looks SEXY as hell! That side profile is clean and menacing at the same time. Great job Mclaren!

Great video. This car is you g to be a monster on the track. They basically took a ton of tech from the Seena and added it to the 720s and refined the aero. Sounds like a winning combo to me.

New Corvette is an ugly duckling, they made a whole big deal about being mid engined yet it looks disproportionate with tiny wheels from most angles.
Can't really compare the two cars. The Mclaren is hypercar quick.
The C8 is American...so by extension.. Cheap Vulgar Loud and to be ignored....lacks Class and will fall apart if your President does not destroy the world economy first ..

The styling of the 720 has really grown on me since launch. It still looks odd, but this car looks pretty incredible. And knowing how crazy fast the 720 is I can’t imagine this thing. I hope Brooks from DragTimes gets his hands on one of these.
Rather than launching new cars, they need to sort out Customer Service and Reliability it’s embarrassing..and also sack the entire McLaren Manchester Sales/Service team, they are as much use as a Chocolate Fireguard ... until these issues are addressed I would never buy another even if my price point and experience was £105K for 2018 two owner car, my colleague had owned a 720 for six months it was on the road for two in this period.. Aston Martin might be expecting major issues with their finances and Product range, but with my 2018 Vantage nothing has been to much trouble, I honestly feel valued as a customer at Dealership and Factory level when I had issue with reversing camera and switch gear courtesy car was delivered next day and problem solved ...

The “basic” model cars McLaren produce have appalling residual values as there are now 3 year old 675LTs on the market for considerably less than original price. Shmee150‘s 675LT had numerous issues within the first 3 years including rust and reliability (I’d have to revisit his recent vid for full details). Tim doesn’t appear to mention this much as he is a big fan of McLaren and no doubt wishes to remain on the privileged buyers list. I wonder if he’ll be a bit more forthcoming once he doesn’t need to be so loyal to them.

@@sonoafafayon Who wants to own a depreciating asset on your own book, especially when it loses 20-50% of its value in a few years (why have a loan/debt against that, like most owners of these cars have for various reasons) but it's true that at the second hand McLaren market can you get a lot a bargains, but you do not want to buy most of these cars new.
McLaren 765LT Spider, is now my life goal.
