The dyno was just 1300, and it outrun that with ease. Mansell stated recently that his Williams had 1500 during qualifing and that BMW had even more. During race those F1 cars had still around 900hp. Remember that in those days the hp race was hardly restricted by rules and teams did not share information about their limits of performance.
From early days of Koenigsegg I saw this man as a genius but I never imagined that he can put up stuff like this... He is single handedly putting all of the automotive R&D to shame.
Never met a Koenigsegg owner... But it can be true. I was surprised when the guy who took Pagani Zonda to endurance racing revealed that car was 150kgs heavier than advertised and lacked handling, even Lewis Hamilton once revealed that it is not really a great car and doesn't handles all that well. The truth is there are so less people owning these cars(mostly collecting them) that we never get to see the flaws in these things and believe they came flawless from heaven.

Wow, just wow. Christian never disappoints, every car he produces is amazing. I mean in this one in particular a 3V engine that is AI controlled, weighs 70 Kilos, produces low end torque, revs to 8500 RPM and produces 600BHP. The numbers do not compute! Not to mention the electric motors and the ever improving and consistent styling. I use to dream of working for Ferrari as a kid. But after the past 5 years I have certainly changed my mind. Freevalve is the best tech to hit the market since overhead valves. And if I remember correctly, CVK didn’t file any copyrights on it because he wanted all other manufacturers to use it. In another 10 years, I hope we see this tech on all cars.
Every time I see pictures of one I like it more. I really need that lottery ticket to come through, then question will just be what color. Also I find Christian is just a really likeable person. Not only does he make amazing cars with very clever technology, but he also comes across as very open and wanting to share with pride without being stuck up in any way.

Look up Free Valve. In a regular engine, you'd have to change the camshaft, but this car is camless and it can change its own functionality very easily.
The technology has been in development for 20 years. Maybe conventional programming just isn't enough to get the maximum efficiency out of free-valve, so machine learning was needed.
Gemera is undoubtedly the car of the century. Other cars like Bugatti, Ferrari, Pagani, Lamborghini, they are just sold because of their name brands. Koenigsegg is the only brand that not a lot of people know about and anyone who buys one, knows what he is buying rather than just going for a lambo or a Bugatti. This kind of innovation is what made me a die hard fan of Christian Von Koenigsegg. With all the love from Asia

this man... he is easily the next huge influence to the car world... Direct drive, lightspeed transmission, freevalve, all these things which just increase the scope of what was previously possible, almost exponentially. Himself and his R&D team are god damn amazing.

Wow, just wow. Christian never disappoints, every car he produces is amazing. I mean in this one in particular a 3V engine that is AI controlled, weighs 70 Kilos, produces low end torque, revs to 8500 RPM and produces 600BHP. The numbers do not compute! Not to mention the electric motors and the ever improving and consistent styling. I use to dream of working for Ferrari as a kid. But after the past 5 years I have certainly changed my mind. Another one from team Koenigsegg.

I wonder what the regulations are on valve train design are? You couldn't get round the restrictor plate issues but you could certainly make a bunch more usable power by using the available air more efficiently

Freevalve is the best tech to hit the market since overhead valves. And if I remember correctly, CVK didn’t file any copyrights on it because he wanted all other manufacturers to use it. In another 10 years, I hope we see this tech on all cars.

I love how Christian is every time I seen him on camera; I have been waiting for freevalve to make its production debut. Koenigsegg is really out here preserving the combustion engine; if we can get this to an everyday production car we just might be able to keep all of the awesomeness we love about combustion

Look up Free Valve. In a regular engine, you'd have to change the camshaft, but this car is camless and it can change its own functionality very easily.

The most interesting part is about valve engine AI control.
The technology has been in development for 20 years. Maybe conventional programming just isn't enough to get the maximum efficiency out of free-valve, so machine learning was needed.

Gemera is undoubtedly the car of the century. Other cars like Bugatti, Ferrari, Pagani, Lamborghini, they are just sold because of their name brands. Koenigsegg is the only brand that not a lot of people know about and anyone who buys one, knows what he is buying rather than just going for a lambo or a Bugatti.
This kind of innovation is what made me a die hard fan of Christian Von Koenigsegg. With all the love from Asia
