- NEW YORK, September 10, 2024 - Retired Indian diplomat Navdeep Suri speaks about his recent translated work, “Khooni Vaisakhi,” a long poem written in 1920 by his grandfather and one of the best-known writers of the Punjabi language Nanak Singh after surviving the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. He is joined by musician and writer Vidya Shah who turned the poem into a song. Sanjoy K. Roy, managing director of Teamwork Arts, moderates the conversation. (1 hr., 1 min.)
