I attended a test ride event for Yamaha's YZ series and tried out every YZ model available there. Among them, the YZ250FX was the easiest to ride. 🏁It’s incredibly fast yet remarkably stable, without any signs of the bike being unruly. I truly believe this is a world-class masterpiece. Needless to say, I ordered the 2025 YZ250FX as soon as I got back from the event.
I’m 210-215 and ride one of these in some rugged stuff. Even at speed it just takes it. 130 hours on my 2023. Would absolutely love to try it her in some dirt like that!
Thanks for that info.. I came to comments hoping to get some info for bigger guys. I'm 6' 200# and been considering getting a 250fx.. I've always had the 450's but I'm 55 now and thinking a lighter more usable bike in the tight stuff might be good? My only concern is I've heard they lowered the bike slightly and wondering if that would be an issue for someone that's 6 feet tall? I appreciate the review 👍🏼😎
@ it’s a super easy bike to use. I’m 6’3” I don’t find it too short. I find it almost perfect. Could use a stiffer rear spring. On my second suspension service now. Probably will go with a new rear spring this time. This is my first 250f I’ve always had 2 strokes and 450s. The 250 is way easier to ride in the tight technical stuff over a 450. I still feel more at home on a 2 stroke.
You’re talking about this bike and I’m pretty unamused all typical trail focused things. But then I heard 6 speed wide ratio. And now I wish I could afford one.
Give it until New Years and you'll start to see some reviews and comparisons I'm sure! I'm also curious myself and searched that, but came across this video haha

Cool thanks for sharing. Did you also get to try the wr250f?

Unfortunately, it was a test ride event exclusively for the YZ series organized by Yamaha, so there were no WR models available.🏁

@@mikeking7388 thanks for the reply. That's what I was hoping to hear. Much appreciated Mike! Happy twisting
Sweet bike!
Good stuff boys. might buy one!
wonder if the Airbox from 25 FX would be a good mod for the 24-25 yz250F, to improve the bottom end.
Yeah I agree, I think it’s an idea worth investigating
Dam Milton IN huh ? I'm 10 mile N of their & l guess its a secret test site as l had no clue , thats awesome .

Not to mention in my opinion this will be the new supermoto pick. Just think about it.some high speed gearing and some power mods.
I’m curious if the boot will fit the 250F model or will the cylinder head have to be used? Throttle body and spacer are the same as the 250 F
Damn that’s heavy
They give you the weights of the bikes full of fuel unlike other brands, so they seem heavy but actually they're not very heavy.
@ compared to a 2 stroke it is. My 125 is 40 lbs less than that
@ Very true
So you have a bike that weights 203 pounds with full tank, what kind of bike is it and what year?@@NathanRoberts-d4o
@ 2000 YZ125, wet weight of 208lbs
Were you able to find the rev limiter in 6th gear?
would like to hear thoughts vs the previous gen

Please test the 2025 Honda 250rx
This or the 25' beta 300 rx?
Depends If you prefere 2 Stroke or 4 Stroke but a 300 is Mode compareble to a 450
Where's the 2025 yz250 review at?? 👀

I can’t see paying more for something else that probably isn’t as good anyway. Yamaha is back, no doubt about😢 it
I wish I can have one. I'm still riding kx250 2016. Lol
Superised the kawi has not blown, great job on maintenance lad
With I had a 16
I’m between this and the ktm 250xcf, I just don’t know which one
I think the ktm 250xcf is fairly boring. Id go yz250fx or the ktm 350xcf or husky fx350
Honda needs to add a 6th gear to their CRF250RX and Kawasaki KX250X
Still can't like the blue wheels.
I love the blue wheels ❤️
Gold would be nice!
@@jaysmokey I saw a Grey 2020 with Blue wheels and I thought it looked Great
The Husqvarna 350 seems like a better option…
