Thank you . I think you just solvwd my problems. Because that is exactly what is happening my fathers maxhine is doing.its agitating and draing after the initoal wash and drains , but wont fo into spin cycle. Thanks a lot.
love the videos!! I have a Kennmmore elite model one of the pre-code models, It agitates and everything but when its time to drain for the spin cycle it will drain and leave anout 4-5in of water and then it fills back up and drains continuously. I have tried jumping the lid switch to see if its the issue but no luck, any idea what it could be?
I have a Kenmore 70 series it does not have any lights on it but I did what you said and it worked for one load of clothes then it stopped. Did what you said again and nothing. Any suggestions?
Thank you so much this fix got me running. I had a code of F7E1 so I'm thinking actuator then what was crazy, it would do a full calibration as it was good, then I found your post on this, so I cut those ends and did a purge, then recalibrated and ran as it should. I have another fix I need help with. When you push the start button I'm seeing the hold board move and other buttons move when you push start. I have seen nowhere or nothing to tighten to eliminate that movement. Have you ever solved or experienced that problem ⚠️ before? This is happening in Maytag Centennial. The motherboard moves when you push the start button?
I actually have seen it where the pause play button would move around and get stuck. I think what you will have to do is pull the top up and then reposition the main board and center console until everything is in its proper location.
The problem I am having with my Whirlpool pause/start washer is that when it goes to the spin cycle , the light is on spin BUT it does not spin and water runs in, like it’s doing a repeat rinse cycle and it does this over and over w/o spinning….can a bad hose be the cause of this.
Changing the agitator is no joke on this mode. There is a procedure on how to do it, but it is not that easy. I usually just snap off the top part, which will reveal a bolt and then unbolt the rest. Then replace with new. It's not that big of a deal if it is already stripped.
Like you mentioned at the sensor the tube was easy to pull off and i cut it then it was really hard to pull off then it actually spun! before it would only agitated then drain even before i broke and bypassed the lock
Not clear on how you came up with the diagnostic codes. You did a nice job of explaining how to get into diagnostic mode but from there things went south. How to bypass the lid switch?
When I move my drum by hand it sounds like there is rocks or something underneath. How would I get to that? I don’t want to trash it!!! I just bought them!
My Kenmore 500 wasn't ringing clothes correctly then it now isn't draining, I can't even pop up the bottom to check if it's stuck with something, @ now it's not even lighting up to do a diagnostic. What do you think it could be?
I’m not able to make the mental connection on how you got the error code. It sounds like you deciphered the code based on something it does. Like perhaps a certain light(s)
I have a much older Kenmore washer with the same problem.. Will this be the same issue you think? Thank you. Here's a video: th-cam.com/users/shortspKGdBqsSkT0?si=l8rnDLrGPjcdIGxo

You are the best, fixed mine that way, than you. Ended up getting a belt, water pump and cycle sensor to re-fresh the washer. Thank you Sr.
Awesome! Glad to be of assistance!
Great explanation. Thank you for also telling us about blowing into the part of the hose that connects to the pressure sensor. Smart :)
Lots of thank you’s from a single mom ❤
Glad to help!

I need help on same Kenmore washer but my water inlet valve is different from the one that you’re showing❓👍🏼
DO YO HAVE ONE THAT MAKES NOISE AND WONT DRAIN, SERIES 100

I have my washer the same as that one in ur video, mine is stuck on sensing mode it won't go to wash or anything what can I do to fix it?

I replaced the control board but since then I cant get any lights. I have tried every code and still nothing. Could this be a bad board? Thank you!
I have this same washer, The top tub ring is bouncing around as the washer agitates, any help would be very appreciated. Thank you.

Have you changed the agitator on this model? I cant find a video :(

Hey I have a kenmore front loader is not completely spinning out the water from the clothes. Do you know why?
Sorry, I don't work on front loaders, too heavy to transport
Thanks Duct Tape! Sorted my Maytag with your help
Awesome! Glad to help
My issue is it drains and will not rinse, any idea on what that may be?
I have a similiar Kenmore washer; model 110. Where can I find a service manual to diagnosis the code? Thank you in advance.
How do you change the dog agits on this machine?
Mine goes into the spin cycle. However, it starts filling with water again after the spin cycle is complete. Can you tell me why this is?
I'm excited to have been able to do the diagnostic but I can't Crack the code...first blink is sensing, spin second blink complete.
Thank you for your help 🙏.
No problem!
This fixed my problem!
Like you mentioned at the sensor the tube was easy to pull off and i cut it then it was really hard to pull off then it actually spun! before it would only agitated then drain even before i broke and bypassed the lock
Thanks, will see if it works on mine.

How to bypass the lid switch?
we did this video repair fix like u did we tried it again on the washer know the lights don't come on just makes a humming noise what could that be
Surprised it did not overflow.
So how do you read the error codes? What is the point of getting into diagnostic mode if you don't tell us how to read the codes ?
I attempted this repair and didn't help. Do you recommend replacing the actual sensor?
same issue here. I know its been a year, whats was your fix?
@@rayrayrunreplace the board
When I move my drum by hand it sounds like there is rocks or something underneath. How would I get to that? I don’t want to trash it!!! I just bought them!
It requires the motor to be removed would not recommend if you aren’t super handy
@@krismartin1181 bought a new one instead.

Make sure you got all connections plugged in . Double check
Absolutely!
Mine is just stuck on rinse and lock.

By putting the machine into diagnostic mode
I have a Kenmore washer it will sense and wash but it won't go pass the wash cycle

Once trimmed back, use a small tie wrap, on the hose. This will prevent the hose from coming off.
Solid advice!
Usual with those washers it's that actuator that goes bad when it wont spin I never came across this issue
