I think the first time I ever cried from laughing so hard was with that line towards the end. The voice crack when he said "Liiiighhhttt" just made me lose it. So I mean technically... if they were going for an emotional moment they did get me to cry... maybe not in the way they wanted me to though
I remember being so sad about that scene back in like elementary school. But now... oh, man I cried laughing.
Love how I just got a kids ad on this video that’s first line is “OMG, is this satan” TH-cam on some next level with their ads. Only reason I noticed the thing cause it wasn’t blowing out my speakers telling me about Raid Shadow Legends. Anyway, love your work as always Indeimaus!
These are some very hard times for many people, probably the worst year of my life but man... i watch your videos and i can laugh i can forget even if it's for a little while. Take care of yourself and keep doing what you're doing brother because you really do help a lot of people myself included.
This made my night, gods this game sure was a gem
I can't wait for dmc 2 it's God AWFUL, but his reaction to 3 after playing 2 will be amazing. 3 is downright fantastic it really lays on the the edge of being a masterpiece, that being said I adore the campy humor in dmc lol.
DMC3 might just be my favorite of the series, to be honest. ^^
> "Lava X-ATM092"
> relevant Final Fantasy VIII music
I'm absolutely furious, but this is the shit that keeps my coming back to these fucking videos lmao
"I'm not good at this hack and slash games".
Oh, don't you worry mate. Vergil will MAKE you good.
you won me with the buffy intro
"I've heard some horror stories about DMC2, which makes me nervous but also makes me incredibly intrigued what's coming up"
Let's just say Resident Evil 6 might not be your most hated game(of 2020? :D) for much longer
Or perhaps even the most hated game in the history of the universe.
@@MegaCityGhost No, that'd be DmC.
@@KaleidosXXI DmC was at least functional as a hack and slash despite being a bad DMC game.
DMC2 feels like it's being held together by tape and pritt stick.
@@ABonafideSkeleton I always describe it as such:
DMC2: a steaming pile of sh!t
DmC: an absolute dumpster fire.
Watching a steamy pile of sh!t isn't entertaining at all, a dumpster fire however can keep at least a little interest.
The biggest issue is that the game is boring… which is the worst thing you can be when it comes to entertainment. Still, I remember some of the bosses being good fights, the dual machine guns being OP, the Devil Trigger could be game-breaking at times with the right combination of orbs, and Dante only being able to use 3 swords as weapons, which was very lame. Oh, and he does get a good one-liner against the evil wizard guy, and he finishes off the final boss in a pretty cool way.
The Buffy music was a noice touch.....I am aware that by knowing what that theme was.....I have aged myself.
It’s the devil that’s gonna cry
So excited to hear your reaction to dmc4 cutscenes omg
If he enjoyed the action in this game, I'm so looking forward to him getting to DMC3 and on. Weird that they never made a DMC2.
Seriously the action from DMC3 onwards is so good, I can't wait for the memes for DMC3 and 5 in particular.
Shame they skipped 2 and went right to 3 for dmc
I'm sure 2 would pretty cool if they made it
is this ongoing joke in DMC fandom to pretend that part 2 never existed? I heard It was so short that I can be considered a demo
@@RewZes The problem isn't so much it's short, it's just really really bad. It was so bad it actually affected the sales of DMC3 which is widely regarded the best of the series.
DMC2 is going to be a glorious shitshow
I remember playing Devil May Cry 3 Dante's Awakening for months, trying to complete it 100%. Never played the earlier ones though. This is something else
*Boss appears for the hundredth time*
Indeimaus: “Again?”
“Welcome to the club.”-Leon(alter ego of Dante)
Dantero: Devils Cry Twice
I recently got into resident evil after watching your series, and beating 5 with a friend was oddly such a satisfying experience. Watching Ideimaus play all these games I never experienced as a kid made indeimaus my favorite channel for consistent quality content. Honestly he's just vibing in these old games and its kept me laughing all quarantine. Excited to see where you go man :)
The jump sound effect at 2:31 was all it took to make me cackle.
I almost never got to watch the rest of the video after going back to rewatch that Buffy intro about 8 times, falling in love all over again with that theme song.
24:21 Thanks for the goosebumps with that good'ol music.
Boomer
28:24 "They dont make 'em like this anymore"
Yes they do, it's called Devil May Cry 5
I'll fill your dark soul with my top 10 light sources.
5:30 Many people still get this scene wrong. Alastor is all about being as fast as lightning. Dante swinging the sword around isn't about him cutting the shards of glass or avoiding them, but to show how many swings he can make befor the broken glass hits the floor.
I love when indei plays these old games because his editing style makes it bearable to watch an entire game. It's not a too hundred part let's play but a 40 minute best moments type deal
That buffy intro though was amazing
Resident Might Cry: Scholar of the First Polygons
ho god, buffy intro was epic .
god dammn, i want to go back in the 90's.
Well edited, full playthrough of such a rollercoaster. I love it. I'm really excited to see you play through the rest.
"This game holds up surprisingly well," he says, approaching a platforming section.
No one knows true suffering until they've beaten infected chopper in devil may cry 2....have fun
Honestly never thought I'd need a buffy the vampire slayer styled DMC intro. I LOVE IT
I feel like im dreaming, this is probably the last game i suspected indei to play but also the one im the most happy to see
This was the first video of yours that I have seen, I did like your commentary on this game I treasured as a child, I am very eager to see what impact DMC2 has on you.
0:32 “you must be the handy-Maus who’ll play any dirty game?”
