I've watched so many videos on how to replace a battery for my MacBook Pro A2338 and was very nervous attempting this tricky task. But this video is by far the BEST in all of TH-cam on how to do it safely, fast with out dissembling the track pad yet still get the job done right! Everything that was said and demonstrated in this video is 100% correct and I was so happy of my results due to this video! Thank you ever so much for showing us on how to do this task so accurately and safe!

An absolutely impossible machine, where the battery life has always been bad. Now I tried to replace the new battery according to the instructions and as a result the machine no longer works at all. You can't recycle both the machine and the new battery. My first machine ever that failed to replace the battery. This will be the last Mac I buy.

Disconnect the battery board data cable and battery power screw as shown in steps 7 and 8 (this ensures the battery is completely disconnected). 2. Connect the charger and press the power button to turn it on, if needed. If your MacBook turns on, the issue may be with the battery installation. 3. If it doesn’t turn on, there may be an issue with the MacBook itself. If it powers on normally, turn it off, disconnect the charger, and reconnect the battery according to steps 38-42. Make sure the battery power screw is securely tightened, and the battery board data cable is aligned and firmly connected. Once you've confirmed that the MacBook works fine on the adapter without the battery, if it still doesn’t turn on after reinstalling the battery power screw and battery board data cable, please contact our support team at asmarkpro@outlook.com with your order number and current address.
