R2 does not "need potency". Leia gives him stacking potency on her 1st special and she also gives him 75% potency on her unique putting him at 138% potency before any stacking. Sharing health and offense to drogan and the rest of the team is just much more impactful. For instance, my R2 has 13k special offense and 110k health. With his unique and Leia's unique he's at 24k special offense sharing almost 2.5k to Drogan which is very impactful. Furthermor, Drogan has 146% base potency so he doesn't need any extra to consistently land stuns and burning
Yes! I totally forgot about those stat boosts when making the video. If R2 is with Leia, and he often is, then you're 100% right. If you used him in a few other squads with non-GL Leia, I'd stick with the Potency mods, but under Leia I think health or offense is indeed more meaningful. Thank you.

A note about Echo - you mention how important it is that his daze and healing immunity land. However, the description for Never Any Doubt quite clearly states it "can't be evaded or resisted". Potency is irrelevant in that case. His potency is really only relevant for his Expose.
I was going to say the same. That potency would be better given to Tech so he can land the stun and target lock, the expose from Echo isn’t really that big a deal, only the buff immunity really is.
Ya got me there, I didn't see that line at the end of the kit. Normally the comment about resistance is placed in the same sentence such as "inflict daze, which can't be resisted...."
Doesn’t potency help for “one step ahead”? Wouldn’t you want to land that buff immunity or is that for sure always?

With respect to R2, I think I can make a good argument for offence (or health) in the context of the Leia team. Leia's unique gives a 75% stat boosts to r2 (and devs have said in Q&A that it applies before the stat share from number crunch), including a 75% potency (so base plus this equals 128% already). He will gain another 10% potency since he is himself resistance. So potency is already in a decent spot (he will share 10% of this total so at least 13.8% to the team). But in regards to offense, he gets the 75% boost and then shares 10%. This means you give 17.5% of his base offense to the whole team. This will be thousands. The team wins by knocking things out asap. R2 does end up doing a lot of damage by getting an extra 50% dmg on assists to leia further compounding the damage boost. Finally, R2 has AOE on his burning and Leia is putting tenacity down on healer/support with her log roll move, and gives a stacking 25% potency with her other special. Also later in the fight is removing 15% tenacity (in addition to the 15% defense and mastery) when opponents don't attack Leia via her fearless mechanic. So potency is maybe useful at the start of the battle, but you can apply tenacity down if you need a burn.

You're missing and Leia's kit that rtwo's bonuses that he shares gets beefed up a lot
Also the reason people use Traya in territory War is because fulcrum can solo your standard Starkiller team
Fulcrum can wha??? I did not realize that. Thank you for the tip, I'll have to explore that. And as for R2, you are 100% right. I overlooked the stat bumps that R2 gets from her. I'll try to mention that in a future vid... maybe a "reflections and revisions" video from feedback :)

Thank you so much!! I appreciate your feedback. BTW, I was probably wrong about the R2 mods. Check out some of the other comments, but he might indeed be better off with health or offense mods. Maybe even speed.
Not sure about B2 , as he gets stacking potency from GG leadership. But if he get dazed ,he kind of become useless . I believe it’s better to have a mix of tenacity/potency 😅

You know I never knew what caused Drogan and R2 to get healing immunity under Leia lead. That’s huge. Thanks for pointing that out!
I will definitely be putting more potency on that little droid.
As for Logray, I’ve already got triple potency on him but they aren’t the best mods.
I think when Sid’s cron goes away, I’ll move some of his mods to Logray because they have a lot of speed and I think getting an early Daze out would be sweet for the Ewok squad.

A lot of folks are pointing out that R2 get's +75% Leia from her kit and I missed that. He might not need them potency mods after all :) LOL Regardless, glad I helped you find the source of that damage immunity, I was wondering too before I made the video. LOL
And then B2 get a random daze/shock/stun and your whole engine is dead,
What if we run bistan with mon mothma and not raddus? Would you say 3 potency then or 1 potency and 1 offense/crit damage?
Been enjoying this series thank you, but I do disagree on B2.
1) All Sep Droids gain 10% potency stacking from GG lead when they are resisted, meaning as long as they survive they will eventually hit an irresistible potency level
2) He actually wants tenacity, as he is a TM machine but he can only gain that & do his job when he isn't dazed.
TLDR: I would advocate for high tenacity and survivability then stack in any additional potency you can. Speed is not necessary, but potency is still nice to have so you can land those buff immunities early.
I personally aim for at least 75% potency/150% tenacity and a load of protection.
Similar story for Dooku & C3PO (need tenacity to counter/do their jobs) but they also like some potency. Dooku base potency is already 85% at r8 so he doesn't need much.
I was about to make the same comment about B2 when I saw yours.
I was going to say the same thing about B2 - tenacity is more important. High potency does no good if he can't gain TM and take turns in the first place.
After knowing you are base in Shanghai, am wondering if there is a huge base of SWGOH players in China? did you re-do your video in Chinese?
The top 100 guilds don't cry about ewoks. Ewoks are an afterthought.Also, Assaj should be on the list for triple potency.

Uhm.... ok. Is this your first Gerbil vid? LOL Also... which came first, chicken or egg? I literally got 6 holds this round in K1 with Ewoks. The reality is, as unpopular is they are, Ewoks smash a lot of great teams and are a sincere pain to beat on D when modded right. But as you said, they are an "afterthought" in the top 100 guilds. That is likely because their negative stereotype is self propagated by people poorly modding them, developing poor team comps, failing to understand their turn order, etc.... yielding bad outcomes based on bad data, yielding more bad outcomes, which yields more bad feelings, which continues the cycle... thus an afterthought. LOL Thanks for the comment though, always fun to chat Ewoks.
